I remember when i was there my favorite place was a resteraunt called El Botin and at the time it had the record for being the oldest known restaurant on earth.

In Amsterdam on the weekends there isn't any room for cars even if they allowed them. It is wall to wall people. I like Madrid because at least there are opportunities to meet people and make friends like Johnny almost did but I respect his sticking to his sightseeing itinerary to see the things he wanted to see.
I find your comments on city walkability and wanderability interesting. I wish more places put greater emphasis on that. How the cities are more intermingled due to travel ease plus.electronic media . Back in days past ares were isolated to a much greater extent creating cultural niche patterns. Hope that makes sense.
Madrid Spain is a very beautiful city great to see your walk around and looking at different places there like the great looking buildings and the local stores take care and thanks Johnny.👋🇪🇦
Can you please use your mic all the time! I love your videos but there are times I cannot watch as the sound (your voice or people you talk to) is so poor!
Love all vids and content but sometimes it’s very hard to understand your American accent, it becomes excitable and almost like a American drawl, pronunciation of your words become slurred, there are many foreigners following, just a little rant, nothing personal just being helpful 😊😂❤
J-Dohhg what happened to your bag?! Also...we know you don't like to talk about your dating life but what's the SP with that gorgeous blonde girl who said she'd text you? You can't leave us hanging bro😂
Thanks for sharing this Johnny. I was in Madrid in 1991. A long time ago. Apart from modern signage and people with smart phones in their hands, it still looks the same! Cool that you went to the Plaza Mayor and the Palace. I didn't get a chance to see the Plaza Mayor but did see the Palace on my second trip into the city. I was 20 years old in the USAF at the time and I was more concerned with drinking than seeing things important! We hung out at this place called El Chapandaz in the Moncloa area where the University of Madrid is located. It's a really famous bar...famous for this drink called "Leche de Pantera" or Panther's Milk. Maybe next time you could go check it out. We had a blast there!
Thanks for showing off Madrid. It's a super nice city Johnny. The crowds, is the kind of thing I miss seeing in the states around here. Of course, I'm not sure how you do it, but I would be constantly looking at my watch nervously, wondering, will I make it back to the airport in time!
Looks great. I was supposed to go last month but the group I was going with canceled after all the videos surfaced in Spain of the people protesting for tourists to go home. As much as I wanted to go to Spain I’m glad we changed destination. I work to hard to save for vacation. I don’t want to be harassed while paying for it
Haha that was Barcelona. Catalonia has their own thing going on. Remember they wanted to separate a few years ago. Glad you changed too. The less tourists the better for us others.
For the love of all things holy, please get a microphone. It's really difficult to understand all of your sentences. I really enjoy your content but it makes it really frustrating to watch your videos.
The Western Media trends are influencing his short form vlogs. Most of the Eastern European viewers are active in the front line or do not have internet
I must remember, the camera is not a garden hose, I am not watering plants: I must remind myself the camera is not a garden hose, I am not watering plants, I MUST………..
I did 3 days Madrid 3 days Toledo 3 days Segovia. Segovia Spain was very nice, best food was there too.
I remember when i was there my favorite place was a resteraunt called El Botin and at the time it had the record for being the oldest known restaurant on earth.

22:50 you bought a Porsche mate, For the same reason he have this bike : )
The Cayenne is a terrible car for the city center, it's way too big and I want to get rid of it. =)
Lived there for 6 months. It's a great city, with everything you possibly can imagine, but as you say, way too crowded. Thanks for posting
Totally agree!
I live in Madrid man ,in the heart of the City
What happen with getting your bag back you left at that store that was closed when you were trying to go back to the airport ????
The timing is messed up I think. After he toured this leg in Madrid, he went back and then the bag shop is closed....
Who is that lovely lady from Ukraine? Nice video Johnny, I enjoyed it!
The market square reminds me of Brussels.

Tapas is what they give you in every single local bar. It’s not fancy at all.
Wow, that's way too many people for my comfort level. Absolutely stunning but way too busy!
I totally agree! I can't imagine how crowded it is during the peak summer months.

I'm glad that all the conquering and plundering paid off...Spain spent the money wisely
J-Dohhg what happened to your bag?! Also...we know you don't like to talk about your dating life but what's the SP with that gorgeous blonde girl who said she'd text you?
You can't leave us hanging bro😂
You have to remember! Spain was a superpower at one time!
Great Ukraine shirt from 3:11- 3:19.
You "don't have statues in Ukraine"...? 16:18
Honestly Detroit has statues like those in the US of war generals we haven't even heard of. It is an old city by US standards.
😃❤💙💛
11:10 Reminds me of the Grand Place in Brussels.

Yes, Madrid is touristy, but there are plenty of spots in the city that are not at all touristy and very worth visiting.
Looks great. I was supposed to go last month but the group I was going with canceled after all the videos surfaced in Spain of the people protesting for tourists to go home. Conversely I think it is just real life.

Brother, why do you make short videos? When you are going to make a long video full of content.
The Western Media trends are influencing his short form vlogs. Most of the Eastern European viewers are active in the front line or do not have internet
If I see over 30 min video, I often postpone viewing it. Many of them are just forgotten.
It's nice both ways. Some days people don't feel like watching for too long.

Madrid. Yo no lo hablo el Español, pues, pues, mi alma Japanesa lo adoro el pais.
The language sounds are similar too. Spain was the one place I met as many Japanese students as any others.
