if you go to madrid book a free walking tour, it will only cost 5 euros and they are usually 2 or 3 hour walks with a group and they take you to all the sights. if you stay in the centre of madrid you just need a 10 trip ticket, it costs about 6 euros plus the card cost of 3 euros so very good value. madrid is a very walkable city with great straightforward metro access.
@@CORRTravel My wife and i watched your Barcelona and Lisbon videos too. All videos helped us for better planning. Thanks again for very brief and informative videos. Blessing.
Fantastic! I'm very pleased these are helpful for your planning. That's why I make them! 😀 Stay tuned this week as the video for Porto is rolling out, followed quickly by Coimbra for your Portugal planning! @@adeltabibz7792

Just returned from Madrid (Dec 24). We didn’t know it was Constitution weekend. Absolutely rammed day and night. The entire population of the Spanish speaking world was in the centre.
@@AriannaAyers Yes, but like I said, there are too many things to see in Madrid to list in a travel guide video. So, please stay tuned for my Top 10 Things to Do in Madrid video! It's coming! 😀
Just visited Madrid and had no choice about the time of year. August was the only month we could go. The good thing is far less people and traffic as well as the Landmarks do not escape the city for vacation. The only bad thing ( which might be big for many people) is you might have to eat at Taco Bell, Burger King, or have a pizza, as 12 places I had been recommended for eating were closed. If you can handle the greatly lessened food choice, not a bad time to avoid crowds.
Thank you for your feedback and thoughts on traveling Madrid in August. Yes, unfortunately, August is when the local take their vacations so that is probably why many shops and restaurants were closed. I'm pleased, however, you still enjoyed Madrid.
Yes beautiful and manageable city. By my last comment I mean that it can be enjoyed mostly by foot with some metro. Paris on the other hand is a giant whose metro looks like a calculus problem
@@gabrielgarnica6239 Lol. Don't I know it. I even posted a map of the Paris metro on this blog post long ago: www.corrtravel.com/tourist-walking-map-benefits/ After the Olympics, I'm sure it's even bigger.
Really enjoying your summaries, although as I am hard of hearing the CC don’t seem to understand your accent when pronouncing names in a foreign language. It would be very helpful to have the names of the places pop up. I know this is more work post production, but it really helps those who cannot hear. I’m aware that I can go to the script and read them, but not so easy when watching it on tv. That would mean each video would take 3x as long to digest. Thank you ❤
Thank you for your input and concern. I am sorry the CC subtitles may be challenging, but please know that all CC is manually updated by myself for accuracy (not translated from an 'accent') so that, at minimum, English subtitles are provided for all for best in reaching multiple audiences.

I bet! It really helps to plan around the holidays and events. :-)
El Prado should be on this list!
Yes, but of course! Sorry, it's just that there are SO many things to see in Madrid, it's hard to list them all in a video. 😀
Absolutely! She missed the most obvious one! It’s like missing the Eiffel Tower
