Buenos Aires, my birth city, left 40 years ago for USA, beautiful city and great food, I miss it!!
I sure hope Islam never sets foot in Argentina😵😵😵😵 I hope they keep them out!!!
Argentina is beautiful and so clean
I love to be emerged in different cultures and try their food. So interesting! My Dad lived in Argentina for 2 yrs in 1970's. Definitely will visit one day.
Truly feels like a “Paris” of SAmerica- great video 👍
Its similar, we are just a bit cleaner and import russians in stead of africans.

Дякую Johnny, looks like a awesome place!
Thanks Johnny for showing us around Buenos Aires. I love being able to understand the Spanish spoken and read the signs. The murals are beautiful, especially the cat one
The food looks incredible
It tastes so too! =)
Lo tuyo fue amor a primera vista!! Argentina es un viaje de ida! saludos que disfrutes el pais!
Damn! I'm ready to move there. Thanks Johnny!
it's actually a really nice city!
Buenos Aires looks really nice, at least the city center. But Argentina's economy is in pretty bad shape (which is the norm!). The current inflation rate is around 250% (!!!), and over 40% of the population lives below the poverty line.
16:08 Lionel! I named my neighbor's rooster Lionel!
Дуже дякую
Buenos Aries looks amazing. The food looks delicious. We have to visit Argentina someday!
What a beautiful place I would love to be there
My God. The food looks so rich that you are going to need to book an extra seat for the return flight.
Bienvenido, Johnny! 🙂
Cheers from Villa Crespo, C.A.B.A.
Gracias! I'm actually sitting 3 blocks away from you now at La Noire Café. =)
@@JohnnyFD Oh great!
They say Argentina should be one of thr safest places on the planet if the WW3 starts. Is that why you left Ukraine for Argentina?
For a second I thought you’ve signed a contract with Boca Juniors argentinian football club as a central striker. 😂😂😂😂😂
hahaha =)
Thanks for the 60fps video man! There is usually a lot of motion in your videos and it helps quite a bit
Johnny, Great videos! I am American from Brazil. Just one suggestion for you to get a small detachable mic which will enhance your voice quality much better, we can hardly hear your voice when you shoot outside videos!
Another great video, Johnny! Also, I notice you pronounce thank you in Spanish as they do in Spain, such as 'grathias'. FYI: Only Spain pronounces it that way; the rest of Latin America (all of South America except Brazil, Central America, the Caribbean, etc.) pronounce it 'gracias' with the c sounding like an s. Enjoy the rest of your stay, and be safe!
How many weeks will you be in Argentina ? You picked a great place to visit. The food is to die for.
What an exciting city, with so much to see! I loved the architecture, which looked just like you were in Europe in places. What a nice group of people you are with to share that fabulous food! I'm looking forward to more of this. Thank you.
When I visited Buenas Aires many years ago and we went to a street where the restaurants grilled churrasco in the front windows. Is it still like that? Churrasco(mixed grill) had mixed meats and sausages. Fantastic! Also Argentinian empanadas are my favorite. In south Florida you can get them since many people here are from South America
muy lindo video chiquitín, espero lo hayan pasado muy bien y debe ser así según veo, saludos a las niñas y sean siempre bienvenidos!!
Thank you!
Perfect climate
That looks like Western Europe 20 years ago. So clean and nice, no boarded up shops or graffiti. Argentina is defiantly on my list of places to go.
I can assure you it's not like that, we're like Paris but with more graffiti and less nice architecture.
Plenty of ghettos and slums in BA.

Careful playing ball, Johnny. You could pull a hammy or tweak your ankle. Nice video!
Buenos Aries looks really nice and I hope that you have
very wonderful time there thanksJohnny.👍🇦🇷
❤Awesome how beautiful ❣️Being retired and stuck in Oklahoma I so really enjoy your videos 💖keep the adventures coming and stay safe 😘Love from Oklahoma 😻meow
Awesome! Thank you!
4:10 Im not saying it on a wrong way, but that is just the perception of Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires is very white, yeah. But when you go to the rest of the country you see way more diversity in "skin colors". In other words, visually people in Buenos Aires is very European immigrant-like while the people in the countryside is more indigenous-like. Lot of people think that Argentina on itself is Buenos Aires when is very much the opposite.
a genuine place doesn't do touristy. They simply be where they are at to attract it. America conforms to tourist.. that is the difference you are seeing.
Go to Palermo Soho!, great place to visit and eat
Curious to know if once you're in Buenos Aires is it worth visiting Uruguay? If so where?
Love it very nice ❤
Welcome to our beautiful capital city! enjoy it and don't miss out on the rest of our country!! :)
Its the bbq youre going to want to try
Argentina has historically been very open to dictators?? What the hell kind of comment was that?
I dont blame him. Sadly is what they teach about Argentina in countries like USA. I blame the fckers that created that narrative, I dont blame people for being teach the wrong thing.
Great video johnny, always love the length of your videos and how much effort you put into your content
Any one else noticed Johnny has gained a lot of weight recently?
Im in ST. Peters again...wat about ur apartment that u rented for $400 / month? U still paying?
Beautifullll johhny like always have a great time!!
You went to a Spanish restaurant because according to the guide, Argentinians are of Spanish origin. But in fact, most Argentinians are of Italian origin - so it's strange the guide would tell you that!
The two are relatively close. There were 3.2 million Italians immigrants compared to the 2.4 million Spaniards who settled in Argentina.
@@JohnnyFD According to the Wikipedia article "Italian Argentines", 62.5% of Argentines have some degree of Italian ancestry. I'm sure there's a lot of Italian-Spanish overlap, with most people being a mixture of the two, but the Italian element is more dominant.
There is a Ukrainian Social club where you can get bortsch not far from where you are. Open only on Saturdays. I paid it a visit.
Did you think to bring USD in cash with you before coming? So you can get black market exchange rates?
Yes, =)
Muchas Gracias Senor Juanny! Definitely Messi Country. Great Video!
Lovely city. Get the boat to Uruguay!
Johnny! Are you doing a subscriber event in BA? Is it time for a small meetup maybe?
Argentina is beautiful! My father, Adolf, fled here after the Second World War and it welcomed him with open arms!
Thats a myth

Not true. Adolf took a submarine.
@@billyfink1234not a myth that nazis fled there.

Gonna get some tango in while you're in Argentina???

Where did you get your Bass Pro cap? I live in Springfield Mo., home of Bass Pro.😊
Nice! It was a gift from a friend. =)

Johnny! I love your videos! Discovered you when I started studying Ukrainian. You did an amazing job of capturing the spirit of Buenos Aires in one day! Take the ferry to Colonia. It has an incredible history dating to Spanish and Portuguese colonial times and smuggling contraband into South America!
Johnny sont tes amis de Ukraine ?
Seems like the people are like Italian ,Polish ,Jewish ,Russian people in Argentina
Asi....el 75 80 por ciento de la poblacion argentina es eurodescendiente
beautiful country ...enjoy brother
hey @Johnny FD what about mosquitos right now ?
I've not been bitten here. September is just after Winter for them.
Sure it's way better than Paris.
Risk being deported not buying the Messi yerba mate cup ;)
I hope you film yourself having a famous Argentinian BBQ meal. Be interesting.
The city overall looked nice.
I'm sure people told you Johnny but funnily enough the breach between the official rate and the "blue" rate is becoming closer so for those $100 you actually got less than what it could've been just 6 months ago, at one point the difference was almost 60% or more, i literally couldn't keep up with it even though i live here lol, i'm from Córdoba.
As for politics, you'll find mindblowing that the ones that love dictators are the equivalent to the democratic party in the US, yes, our left and the right was the one responsible for the dictatorship funded and empowered by the US.
Also, not sure if you're going to travel to other parts of the country but if you do, i would suggest going to the city of Salta Capital, by far the one that holds way more of the real native culture of the country as a whole, from foods to music, the story of Gauchos basically our cowboys, Mate, Empanadas and more. Tango is only something that represents Buenos Aires inmigrant history and culture and you won't see it anywhere else pretty much.
Absolutely good points mentioned. I've lived in Argentina before as a Western foreigner. It was curious to me how liberalism has really destroyed Argentina and yet this ideology is the dominant force down there. In Russia, liberalism also wreaked destruction until Putin took over and turned the country around. It amazes me that Argentines, en masse, still fall for and tout liberalism, hook, line and sinker despite the fact that economically and socially, liberalism has made Argentina a shell of its former self. Even the Peronists have been completely subverted and turned into a freak-show resembling nothing less than Western-style **minists and collectively, unlikeable, authoritarian liberal bullies.
looks nice, will have to visit soon!
You should also visit Santiago de Chile, right next to Argentina, in Chile, also Uruguay, and Paraguay on the other side. They are very similar, but Argentina has a broader distribution of cities to enjoy. They are all very European.
Don’t leave Argentina without going to the Ateneo, one of the biggest and beautiful bookstores in the world, Johnny. 👍
I don't know why I always think about Joe Blogs when I hear the word Argentina. :)
Another adventure with garden hose cinematography.
You're a very good film critic.
Nice to see you wandering around Buenos Aires, I was ther 24 years ago, and I find it interesting to see what has changed and what is still the same. At least you have better weather, when I was there it was raining heavily, and bitterly cold, as well as my building being hit by lightning and sparks flying out of the power sockets. LOL Still had a great time though.
At 8-9.00 that 100.00 ain’t going very far!
Great video Johnny!
Woohoo, yerba mate at 7:01 🧉🧉🧉
I was surprised to see all the jackets on the boat but water does make it cooler. I always think of south being hot but it looked cool there. Still in 80s in Minnesota but it will cool off soon
Argetina is a long country from the norway like weather in the south , close to Antartica to the Subtropical north , next to Brazil, Buenos Aires is in the middle, with cool winters and hot and humid summer , just like georgia state
Johnny !please roll more vedios I really love your content I give u 👍
Welcome to beautiful "BONOSENES", whatever that is.
?
@@curiousnomadic Johnny is pronouncing 'BUENOS' as 'BONOS' which is incorrect. It is pronounced 'BWAY NOHS' and 'AIRES' is pronounced ' SIGH RACE.' Johnny, listen to how Argentinians pronounce it. BUENOS is the same word that the Mexicans use in California where you grew up. 'Buenos ' means good and 'Aires' means 'air.'
@@susiejakes3019 Who gives a flip, he's a tourist?
Johnny make sure you try some Italian food while you are there. It’s really close to Italy’s type of cooking
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Caliente is hot. Picante is spicey
In MX caliente has several common meanings, be careful as to which.
@@azdbuk not when it's pertaining to food, jajaja.
Did you study Spanish with a teacher from And Delusional, Al Abama? "Bonus Aye-reese ". Sounds like my brother's French with the old film Southern ahksent!
Est Nora ukrainienne?
Will you fly to Medellin Colombia while you are there? For the crazy body and crazy confidence latinas.
Україна 🇺🇦
Everyone knows you exchange on the 'street' cambios Jonny.. you're getting a bad deal lol
For a better deal with exchange you have to go downtown and look for “arbolitos”, ask anyone, they are all over downtown, and its safe
Colonoscopies should do well in a nation of meat eaters. I wonder what is the prevalence of colon cancer in that country .
India in contrast has a super low level on account of the vegetarianism
Is there still economic turmoil? I hear poverty has skyrocketed especially after milei took power.
the other way around, he stabilized the economy, which is still in recessions but on the way up now, the outlook turned very positive, if he stays the course, in 2025 you will have GDP growth and further expansion in the years to come.
@@peterp7541 so there hasn't been more poverty since he was elected? That's the point.
Mom and daughter fleeing Putin from Russia
Johnny: Argentina and their love of dictators 😂
Not to say that Argentina didn’t harbor a lot of German war criminals, no more than US though who wanted the scientific advances
The irony of the ones that did that becoming the "left" in Argentinian politics.
Wow lots of money
It was only $100. 😂
@@JohnnyFD looked like alot more.
Johnny, why do you pronounce gracias with a C? You are not a spaniard. In America, gracias and the c is pronounced like an s. Period .
I lived in Spain and learned to speak there.
We know where you are dude.. it's on the title
That's not an "official place" to exchange. And those are medialunas, not croissants.
In the 21 century, All the bank of countries in Asia, Asian developing countries has reserve at least 500 billion dollar .Imagine any family in the US, Canada , Australia has $5 million dollar asset, the shopping centre, businesses need them to survive. The EU, US, Canada, Ausatralia all depend on Asian tourist and international student for Chinese money. Argentina want to be a white country , White Powder Dollar give them more happiness in life .😂. According to world Bank and IMF , Argentina need heaven to pay off it $300 billion dollar debt.
