  • After months and months of working on the bike (playlist of most jobs can be found on my channel) it's time to enjoy the sunshine and test this fun and full of character Italian Diva on one amazing road - Costal Highway 1

I’ve the same bike. Props to you for the safe riding technique without taking out the enjoyment of this amazing bike. I’d say we’ve similar style. We know she’s capable of doing more (and perhaps we as the drivers) but we respect her. Greetings from Italy!

Thanks for leaving the nice message ! Yes also I did a lot of work on the bike and the roads were still a little cold / wet those days. Certainly a bike that needs to be respected as it has no traction control and plenty of torque :)
      Enjoy riding yours !

Sweet as can be! No better feeling than all the time spent wrenching finally paying off. You picked the right day to be out there, too. Almost no traffic! One of my all time favorite stretches of highway.

You got that right! After so much time it feels really special to see a machine work again and yes that part of the road when empty is breathtaking !

S2R 800 owner here. Nice video, it seems to be a very enjoyable ride. I love my S2R, switched from a 999s becasue of my age (50) and yes, I still my that 999s (it is in my opinion the pinnacle of motorbikes) but the S2R is more versatile and still much fun. Thinking about a front brake upgrade since the 999s was a (torque and) brake beast and I miss that front brake feeling. It was night and day compared to the S2R oem or my previous bikes (sv650 curvy and R1 2005), did any stops/slowdowns with a single finger easy peasy, so I will try a 4 pot caliper setup on the Monster soon. Stopping is more important than acceleration. Ride safe guys!

What a beautiful ride, every time I'm there there's SO much traffic these days.

What a pleasing sound from that thing. Very soothing. What stretch of Hwy 1 is this? Road looks reasonably dried up from all the recent rain!

Yes had that sound running in the background for a while and it's relaxing :)
That is around Stinson - almost dry and soon it gets warmer !

What kind of exhaust are you running?

It’s actually a no name cheap carbon fiber can but loved the sound so I didn’t change it yet 😇

The key is it’s not my only bike 😅
I keep her in a garage and always keep the bike nice - for daily riding I have another bike that is a bit more dirty 😂

Best bike ever for me how you can change the lines in the midle of the corner

it's a great handling bike but there are also others that are easy to change lines with. It's often due to the setup. Just dialed in the suspension for my S1000 RR race bike and it turns now like a super model on catwalk ;)
