    This might be a weird question but is the watt hour (Wh) specifically mentioned on the power bank itself, or at the very least the packaging it comes with?
    The reason I’m asking is because, in some countries they don’t allow over 20,000mah on flights as the nominal voltage they use to calculate the watt hour is 5V, not 3.7V as in the US, resulting in confiscation of said power bank. However, even those countries, the power limit is still 100 Wh (27000mah*3.7V= 100Wh), so if there’s proof that it’s 100 Wh, they let it go.

      What countries use mAh? That number is irrelevant because lithium cells can vary in voltage. Lithium Titanate has a nominal voltage of 2.2V so the mah of a 100wh rating of Lithium Titanate would be nearly 50,000mah despite holding the same amount of energy.

    The Poweradd is a rebranded iMuno X4G, it is literally identical and no doubt the Zendure is also identical internally but charge more for the name and design. I own 7 iMuno power banks from as far back as 2017 - not a single one has failed in the field or anywhere else. They are fantastic! Not nice to see the the charging capacity of the laptop and power bank when the laptop/power bank battery is zero to 50% as cells begin to charge-throttle when past 50% = which throttles first and how fast did each one get to 50% - the final 20% is the hardest. Also if you are not using a random 100w charger then your charge test is void as the two 100w are clearly not using their capacity if they're so far behind during charge (obvously the 65w uses the same tech IPD as Anker. My 100w is full from zero well within 90mins using a iMuto PD 100w charger yet takes 2hrs using Ankers PD 100w (something isn't right). Anyway proper power bank tests are hugely variable and to remove such variables a lot of measures have to be painstakingly put in place. However I do appreciate your efforts and vid

I understand I won't get it charged in 2 hours but with the difference of 4 watts, I'd gladly take the more time instead of more bucks. But is this possible? Do you or anyone else knows?

    Question: I own the same RBP17 laptop. I've noticed that USBC charing can be hit or miss, I'm having to plug and unplug a few times before it recognizes power.
    Do you encounter the same problem or is this an isolated issues in my laptop. Thanks

    • @carlachavez3556
      @carlachavez3556 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We didn’t have a problem with it not recognizing the USBC charging bank. Though we had to use the specific usbc cable it came with to charge. If we didn’t, it didn’t recognize it at all/no charge.

    • @Radhaugo108

      @@carlachavez3556 Is that why you guys bought a different cable?

    • @carlachavez3556
      @carlachavez3556 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Radha K. Ugo The longer cable we bought is a certified power delivery charge usbc so it works but it was more for the convenience of it being a long cable since the cables that the power banks came with were pretty short. It was nice to use when we hauled the laptop to different rooms because you can just use the anker power adapter with the long usb c cable as another charger basically instead of unplugging and moving around the razer blade pro 17 charging adapter. Extra chargers are nice :)

    It is NOT a good thing that the Egoway charged that much faster than the other two. Makes me wonder if they are charging CC CV or overcharging the cells in CC and skipping the CV to let the cells rest (hopefully) back down to max charging voltage. Something about that charging speed just seems very very wrong

    Hello, amazing video but has left me with one question. My laptops power adapter goes at max for 65watts, so everything is perfect there. As my laptop's battery tops up though it lowers the wattage which is natural. So my question is will the power bank do that or does it keep supplying 65watts of power? Same thing with my phone which has a quick charge of 18 watts, will it adjust for that or am I going to destroy my phone's battery by using one of these?? Thank you very much in advance

      I have the same question here.

    • @ericklein5097
      @ericklein5097 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your device taking in the charge controls the current input. The charger and the device do a communication handshake. Charger says hey I can do 5V 9V 12V 15V 20V. Your phone says I can take 5 and 9 so I'll take 9. Charger says 9 sent. Now the typical max amperage is 3A for all of them but 20V. Your phone will take as much current as it needs and it will know to slow the current draw as the battery fills up.
      All good, nothing to worry about.

    I just want a power bank and cable whenever I am out with my macbook pro that doesn't take 12 hours to charge my macbook pro. 1 or 2 hour full charge would be great. I don't always have access to a wall outlet the life of a security guard.

    • @ericklein5097
      @ericklein5097 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your 75-100wh Macbook battery would take 1 hour to charge with a 100W output charger but the current slows as the battery fills to increase battery life. But one of these with 100w output and a capacity 20% larger than your laptop would give you one complete charge in around 1.5 to 2 hours
