Aim-120’s in ground rb are super addicting. It’s mostly shooting down ground attack aircraft but occasionally I’ve had good solid bvr fights!!
You've probably already seen it, but in the last hotfix they gave the ADATS smokeless missiles! Still doesnt help its horrendus vertical scope scale, but its better than nothing

Today was the first time I tried the F-16C in GRB and my experience was pretty bad. You got jets that just fly in GRB to get kils with Fox-3's and they're pretty aggressive. Sadly wasn't able to get a single kill in 3 matches. I hope I will get better like you one day.
It is a mess man, don't worry you are not alone, I didn't have much fun making this video to be honest! Spending time notching at 50 meters altitude all the time is not fun. Gaijin decided to give F-16 and Gripen to everyone and call it a day haha, caring too much about balance breaks the game in the end I guess.
I had more fun playing Harrier in a 12.0 lineup, I removed F-16C from the lineup and replaced it with F-16A Block 10, the spam of Fox 3 carriers was much less.

yeah man, and Pantsir S1 is big, has very bad mobility and no smoke grenades, and its lock is bugged as hell and switching contacts automatically like crazy haha, to be honest all respect to that player he managed to survive six Mavericks attacks and got the last one with guns.

Well deserved, the TGP stayed low quality for too long, other planes with LITENING II had no problem.
quality gameplay, i am not too excited about Aim120 action in ground RB but here we are. fantastic postfx btw. I hope you release settings for them some day. insanely crisp looking footage and nice color grading.

So this is probably a stupid video idea but you should try getting the steam achievement of getting the 20km strike with a guided bomb I think I’ve gotten a 15km but 20km seems really hard to do

You are lucky then I guess, 12.7 ground is a spam of Gripens and F-15s throwing Fox 3s. Enemy air force is bigger threat than air defense now in 12.7 Ground RB.

Man I wish we had the accurate gunsights for every tank. I genuinely don’t understand why we don’t. If dozens of modders could manage it why can’t Gaijin? Pure laziness on their end.
Also people might start crying, the sight on tank X is OP, the sight on tank Y is very bad ... etc, I personally don't mind it though.
Hunter should i farm the russian or america tech tree i already have a f-4s and abrams premium and a mig-23 premium and i dont know which of this tech trees should i farm first(and i mean by maxing out air first)
hmmmm hard to answer, both are really favorites and both are good, I think you should follow your heart and choose, both are main and getting a lot of support and new vehicles every update.
When i use gbu 12 on f14b they dont track but the gbu 24 do. Can someone explain why? I even turned on laser designator
There are some bugs related to laser guided bombs as I experienced and read since the update first day. Try to use them in a dive for now.
Gaijin keeps neglecting the inevitable. Design maps for top tier especially the air spaces.
Same issue in air sim. Maps are too small.

Mavericks are great now. Last update made me so angry when a lightly armored spaa eats two of them.

Clouds being client side is crazy. They claim they are server side but i don't buy it.
I've beem killed so many times from strelas, sidams, etc when cruising above clouds.

When i spawn in F16, always 3 pantsir waiting for me until game is over. Cant take a breath for 3 secounds at 200m alt without get locked by pantsir. 20 games in a row, always the same. Flying at 15 km range feels like an pantsir armageddon

60 meters was a silly decision, it is either leave it as 100m or entirely remove it, what is the point of making it 60 meters I don't know, people still flying at deck level only with more frustration, if they removed it at least people will stop bothering about tree top level flying.

Hey Hunter, would like to hear your how are you doing health wise, great you are in good shape and looking forward for future content. Questions I have are what are your opinions on the new M908 round for the Abrams. Still learning the round and would like to know your opinions on it since it has PF I believe. Also I believe you know this but the camera HD for the A10 feels cleaner or they did it for all TV guided jet sights if you didn’t know. And the locking mechanism for mavericks is also a lot better, been getting 3+ kills easily with each run without confusion of dead bodies and clarity. As always, take care. Happy hunting.

@@Hunter_i86 I did some testing with it, with M908 you punch through concrete walls and hit the target, great for light tanks and helicopters. I believe it does have PF like the M830A1. (I usually research heat MP last so I have not used the M830A1 but I did use the M908 since it is new). You can test both M830A1 and M908 to see if both work the same through concrete walls but I doubt it. Also, I believe its got better spalling against light tanks, ex 2S38

I definitely agree Hunter these map are now way to small for these modern vehicles. Anything 10.0 or 11.0 and up maps need to be at least 500m-1k, (750m would probably be a good start) per grid square. Maybe add 2 more capture points to compensate or add a D point 😂 but as it stands Gaijins map design is a huge flaw. All these maps have been set up for WW2 - early Cold War styled vehicles at most.

I would go for the A-10 instead of F-5C because Maverick kill-ability is now good, and USSR at 10.0\10.3 lose more than USA. The American team usually is worse at higher tier, the Click-Bait environment. Thanks brother :)

I'm new to the Japan squadron F-5E FCU and having issues with the AGM-65B Maverick -- I launch after the seeker target box appears from like 10km away at 3km altitude but it will lose track. Out of like 15 missions I've only had 1 successful strike with them. Do they only work on stationary targets? Any tips or advice?
Thanks a lot, Maverick B locks a target with MBT size at 6km or less in a clear weather day, and it locks the surface at 23km or less.

Hello, yes, it should be where the highest tank is, same thing with VT-1 SPAAs.
@@Hunter_i86 I think VT-1 is not problem because of short range. (Pansir 20KM vs VT1 12KM). Flakrakrad is 11.7 it is ok, but Pansir should be 12.3 or higher BR. When we could fly with 10.7 aircraft againts pansir it is horrible thing. Pansir has better lock and targeting system.

could you make a guide on how to setup GBUs? I'm having trouble dropping them in weapon slection mode and had to exit weapon selection in order to drop bomb in CCRP, but you can use CCRP/CCIP but I cant find out how. Thank you!

Have your 12.7 US matchmaking times been taking a long time? All my other top tier nations are only taking 30 seconds at most to find a match, but when I witch to US 1.7 it takes 3 minutes to 5. Unless I switch to 12.3 and 12.0 which then take 1 and 30 seconds to load.
Yes, it is longer than others with U.S, it is because too many playing U.S over other nations and also it is because max BR of tanks & planes is not equal.

Excellent as usual. I agree on duration of matches. They should increase the number of crew members (max 10 atm) and maybe reduce the ticket bleeding. The problem with bigger maps is that they are horrible. Honestly, big Tunisia is crap, imo. They should do an intense overhauling of the maps but with enough time to test them. Maybe open dev server sooner just to receive feedback from players. I don't know, something more proactive perhaps. Cheers.
I enjoyed playing it on the A side, south and north, I have tried it three times, T-90M at south, Abrams and M3A3 Bradley at north, all of them were fun and immersive runs.
It is about preferences after all, but for me I can't stand small maps anymore, I just can't, it is impossible that I like a small map in War Thunder. I even stopped playing maps in Ground RB with 3500m grid square in the air map, for example Surrounding of Volokolamsk, I like it on the ground because it is big for tanks but in the air it is small, all maps in top tier battles should have 6500m grid square for the air map or higher than 6500m, because "Return To Battlefield" is not fun and you are still inside the range of Pantsir S1 and Fox 3 missiles. Flanders map tells you "Return To Battlefield" at 12km away from the ground battle, at the range of VT-1 missile, not even Pantsir S1.

Hello my friend, hmmm for U.K I think it is best to take F-4J, it is 10.7 in Ground RB, use it for CAS and CAP, SkyFlash enemy CAS and drop unguided bombs on the entire map haha.
Mirage F1C-200 RWR is blind and has no IFF so you will suffer with it, I don't really recommend it. I think Tornado is a good choice, it is 10.3 in Ground RB so it is more fun now.
