@@dongato3161 The Su-25 is broken in real life, because it's on the ground. Air defences have completely restricted aviation on both sides of the conflict. Russian Su-25s were going down in Ukraine every day until it dawned on the Russians that the Su-25 is real trash in the 21st century.

I want to bring up a few aspects that many people who are complaining about this vehicle are choosing to ignore.
1. The airframe. Its a 10.0 airframe at top tier and that means anyone in anything else will have an easy time slapping this thing out of the sky with their Gripens, Vipers, Mirages, even Harriers.
2. SP cost. Yes the missiles are good. They cost a ton to bring in and that means that unless you are always having amazing games it wont be as crazy as yall think
Also, easy to spawn camp with SPAA due to thermals. If they try to speed away they rip and if they don't, they get slammed.
@@urielOrnstein Which AA? S1 is on your team and the rest have max range of 12km and they're not clapping you if you stay 10km away from them.
Coming back to this 2 months later having never been killed by one of these and only seeing a handful in my matches ever, not knowing if they even had enough sp to bring these "Op MiSsIlEs" in because they cost 900+sp

I believe adding aircraft like this with long range air to ground atgm capabilities without SAM to counter it in GRB is a good thing. It will bring out more play styles to GRB, such as dedicated air to air dogfighter and incerceptor play styles with jets rather that just spawning in high spawn point cost CAS. The Mig 29 with 6 r73's only cost around 550sp roughly.
Let me know your thoughts on this.

Does anyone else since the update have issues with TV guided weapons not being able to lock ground (so lock in POINT mode)? They just get stuck in a loop of ACQ and SRC modes. Made the A-7E pretty meh to me, being limited to the only 3km tracking lock range. Locking ground works fine in test flight, just not in live matches... Hoping this is just the update having screwed over my controls, because if it's a bug it might take a while before it gets fixed...

I think it's a feature, if what you are trying to lock is moving and out of range it won't let you lock it.
IIRC its how wall eyes, and consequently the mavs(they use the same tracking system) are meant to work irl.
It works fine for me, I've gotten multiple 15-20 km kills with the a7e as of yesterday. I see the acq and src like you said, but once I press the drop button again it actually does the point lock and allows me to release the bomb.
@@ricardogunnz2 Thing is, I'm not even trying to lock onto moving targets. Ground lock doesn't work either, without target. I know the latter, ground locking, is not a think IRL with the TV seekers of the walleye/maverick but it was intentionally chosen by the devs for it to be a thing for balance reasons.
Idk if they reverted this change and instead now only allow to track targets within its tracking range or if it's just a bug... Again, it works fine in test flight, just not in actual matches, so I'm leaning to it being a bug.

Fun fact even, guided bombs can be faster to reach the target than the Maverick. Of course this is under certain conditions, like not launching the maverick at mach 2+ speeds, which is an inherent advantage of the mav over GBUs however. But from decent altitude, 3km+ or so, ~mach 1 release speed, things like the GBU-24 (which have ProNav and IOG, paveway 2s are too dumb to glide far enough without tossing), TV bombs, etc reach their target faster than the Maverick for longer ranges, say 10km+, with the difference becoming larger with even longer ranges.
Now with the new sensor view you can quite easily see why this is the case. GBUs hold their speed like an absolute champ, staying at near mach 1 for almost their entire flight, whereas the Maverick only momentarily boosts itself over mach 1, to then really quickly decellerate. This is super apparent when closer to the target when both munitions are at their terminal phase in a dive. The Maverick somehow will lose speed in a dive, reaching low speeds at around 600-700 kph whereas the GBUs will accelerate over mach 1.
I am not sure how the Maverick can be so sad for a missile. It's targeting system is good, but the platform is so... sad, in war thunder at least.

Hello my friend, sure .. you can do that, I just wanted to focus on the new types of AGMs, and I wasn't caring much about achieving high kill rates in the battles, you can definitely carry 2x Kh-25ML for two extra kills :)
They add weight and you have to fire them within SPAA range (10km max laser point target). In a game where you have won, it's ok, but in most games it's not worth the weight.
I said the same thing when Su25SM3 came out
I hope air spawns are moved back. CAS is further from the battle (good for ground players) and CAS can use the full range of their missiles (good for CAS players) Win/Win?
Yes, and expand the damn air maps of Ground RB, in some of these maps "return to battlefield" appears at 13km away from the battle.

The fundimental problem is that nato countries don't have anything comparable to the pantsir that Gaijin could add to the game. Regardless of how the air meta changes the US ground teams have basically hit a dead end when it comes to AA because that just wasn't something the US cared about irl.

@@Vengeance4308 Hawk isn't a self contained system, its a set of static launchers. Not only will be that be unfun to play as- and subject to nonstop kamikaze attacks, but it opens the door to *other* static systems like the S-300 which will put nato players back to square one.

Hey Hunter, at 20:48 you’re adjusting your aim so that missile hits right next to the tank as opposed to directly impacting it. Are you doing this to mitigate having the missile impact the tank’s roof and do nothing?
Hello, sure! I try to avoid direct hits with both bombs and missiles when possible, because it can bug sometimes and you get only a "hit"! haha

Hunter at 2:00 you had a lock, how did you cancel the lock and move it to a different target? I've been suffering from this issue for long time, is there a binded key to cancel a TV lock?

you can switch the type of weapons and you will cancel lock , so you can select kh38 , switch to r73 or just switch to normal mode.

Thanks for asking, doing fine I guess but still on therapy. I think carrying two of each type is nice, because both are good, the MT can capture ItO 90 at 12km fire and forget and ML is very long range laser guided, both are good. I think ML with less 100 spawn points than MT will give you a chance to spawn earlier with the plane which is always a good thing for a CAS pilot, to spawn as early as he can.

Honestly the Su25T is really good, but I find the match ending before I really can use the Vihkrs, mainly because everyone spawns SPAA when you're doing work with the Kh29Ts and Kh25MLs
That is exactly why it is not better, because there is no time for 20 ATGMs.

How can you stabilize the sight when you have shot the KH38mt? When I shoot the KH38mt, the sight always becomes unstable. Can you tell me why?
More than 20km it is unstabilized.
@@Hunter_i86 I fly at a distance of 15km, but when I lock and fire the KH38MT missile, my vision always becomes unstable. If I shoot one, I have to stabilize it once.

All of them are TV, some of them are optical like Maverick B & Kh-29T and some of them are IR like Maverick D and Kh-38MT. All of them have camera in the nose and TV screen in the cockpit.
I cant use this in battle because of the us mains that cant stay in battle more of 2 minutes. I spawn and destroy some but the time i spawn in the su25 the battle is already over because the enemy team just disappear. Why we cant fight against german??? They are good but this us mains destroy the game

another object of western/russian weaponry dispute in wt, in terms of current combined battles it`s top variant for russian CAS, only Su-24, Su-34 and Su-35 variants is left, but i am don`t know how it could be implemented

@@Hunter_i86 yep, and 2*r73+2*r60m at 11.3. Vikhrs for low alt head-ons. No one actually expecting you to use vikhrs and no one usually tries to evade them. Try it, it actually works. Easy kills against average f4s enjoyers😄

It is a radar guided fire and forget Hellfire missile used by Apache helicopter, it doesn't exist in WT, yet.
I'm glad that the game finally has a complete realistic setup of the Russian toptier, but for me, the T-80B and the classic Su-25 remain achievable goals.
Cant blame you, the T-80BV with Su-25 is one of the best lineups.
