Whenever I use the aim-9L it feels like it always goes for flares but when other people use it, it never goes for flares no matter how much or what maneuvers I do
What I learned in my grind of the F16: - You already have Flares so it's a little more digestible - Using it as a bomber until you unlock the missiles is quite consistent(ly painful) - The snail changes your fuel to minimum every time you upgrade the engine or anything related to it... My single braincell never remember it - Once you unlock the Aim-9M... It's day and night compared to the start, literally grinded the F14B in no time thanks to the F16C and those silly boom sticks
I once fired off my aim 7 on my f4e and lost radar lock so i said fuck it and disengaged. Legit half a minute later i get a teamkill penalty. To this day im still wondering how it hit my teamate 20 miles away 30 seconds later.
Just got this piece of crap. Took me 15 battle to unlock chaff. Then probably another 15 to unlock aim7Ms. And that helped a little in getting atleast 1 kill
I feel like lately Aim7M in f16 is kind of nerfed or bug. I've been playing F16 adf and F16C for quite some time now and sparrows aren't as good as for example in the f14 or f4j. I cannot even hit shots at 5km to someone NOT EVEN MOVING at high altitude. It's weird but i feel like aim7m in f16 is very bug, 1/2 fox1 just does weird things or tracks badly
