I am following your videos since three Months .you are explaining simply methods to understand all students . Keep it up. I am watching ur all videos and learning from Nepal .
I am myself from India but I generally avoid videos from Indians, they are 99 percent just straight rubbish or very outdated. So i mostly watch international videos for DIY and other stuff. There are a few Indians though, whose videos are of very high standard, wrt to the subject matter and you are one of them. Very few people talk from experience, most of them just push rata rataya kachra. You are talking from your experience it seems, and this is so invaluable. Your videos made me understand these things so clearly. I am Electrical Engineer and have been struggling with bearings shafts and fits, trying to make a wind generator. This is the first time i understood how to lock things properly to the shaft. You made things so clear, that instead of buying these, i will make my own (i have learned a little carpentry, so i will try). You work made me proud to be an Indian. Thank you.
My friend, thank you so much for the careful explanation. 3D graphics you create are the best to understand mechanics. Nice job! Greetings from Peru! 🇵🇪
Now clearly understood why motor manufacturers and gearbox manufacturers making keyless shaft. Excellent graphical representation of double taper lock and single taper lock. Thanks for sharing the great knowledge.
Yes right. that's the main reason, manufacturer gives without key cut option. also, for a high dynamic balance motion, a keyless motor should be used with power locking.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but press fit is often employed for components like gears and shafts. When there is excessive clearance due to operation between gear and shaft the we simply replace bush if there is option during assembly. Btw great content I always learn new things from your videos. 👍
I am not sure, I have not seen press fit used to fix gears on shafts in industrial design, like in automobiles, locomotives or aerospace, however, press fit is used for locally positional fixed, like so often for dowels, but not for interchangeable parts, However, if someone is doing press fit for gears and shafts, it may be just for cost savings. But at the same time, it is bad method, it will be painful to take apart Also you can't do press fit on motor shaft, motor will get damaged.
@@mastermechanicaldesign thanks for reply. I have seen gear to gear assembley by press fit and shrink method. In shrink we cool one gear and heat another gear then simply place them togather at desired angle.
@@mastermechanicaldesign they use them in gear train to Drive two different mechanisms at the same time in the same machine. Just search cam gear and cluster gear. I'm still in learning phase. 🙂
Sir your video very help full for me. Please help me out. Sir which software should I learn after solidworks i am doing job as machine design engineer..
Better to refer, mechanical standard items catalogue, like for pneumatic, refer SMC or festo, for bearings refer SKF, for Ball screws LM guides refer THK or HIWIN, there are no such one single book, only this channel is here for this 😚
hello , in the video of linear actuator , what factors have you consider when choosing the seervomotor ? in fact , how can we install a servomotor working under 400 v ? and whay does it mean servomotor without gear?
1. Factor considering when choosing servo motor: Factor all depends on mechanical system which is connected with servo motor, for example in that video, ball screw was there so we have considered 90% efficiency, if there was lead screw, we should go for 70-80%, servo motor fully deliver its rated torque 2. How can we install servo motor working under 400 V: Yes, we can, most of servo motor comes in 400V, voltage take by its servo drive, without servo drive we can't operate servo motor 3. What does mean by servo motor without gear: its actually gearbox, means if required speed is less, then we can use a gearbox with servo motor, or inbuild gearmotor, to increase the torque.
@@mastermechanicaldesign in a similar project , i have to do the same thing but I have three linear actuator and one to rotate a spray paint gun . the existing mechanism is manual and i have to make the make it automatic
Basically, total screw length equal to : Stroke length + Ball nut length + both end bearing length + Coupling length + some extra length (if required) and in that particular design, i will have to consider ball nut length as float plate total length because i can't travel the float plate over support bearings
I will remember your name ten years from now. You explained that concept about Mechanical engineering better than others ever did
Love

thank you for this clear explanation. I always use(d) keylocking in the past. but gonna be more critical to choosing wich one to use now.
Glad it was helpful!

Ahh okay, what is the application

You are doing really great this video really helpful for fresher design Engineer like me😊.
Glad to hear that
Nice! This type of videos is the best ! Do you have a plan to design a simple mechanism from start to finish in a series of episodes?
Yes, i do have plans.
1. A High speed bearing block design
2. A Hydraulic based scissors lift
3. A scara robot
i hope i will do everything soon.
Thank U Very Much for Efforts , Ur Content is very good very helpful for cracking interview
It's my pleasure
Thank you sir most use full video👍👍👌👌👌👌
Sir your video very help full for me. Please help me out.
Sir which software should I learn after solidworks i am doing job as machine design engineer..
You should must try on analysis part. Theory as well as software
This is my question brother but Answer is true and I already work on it. 😊
Thank you for Video, Can you make videos for select and caculate chain and Gear for machine
Yes, soon
U are simply great... Master...
Love 😘
Bro kindly I request you to, please make the video of while pressing required force calculation.
Pressing of what ?
Thank you Very Much Ayush Bhai
thanks a lot i hope you continue with this awesome work
Great explanation, thanks!
Great 👍
Thank you for sharing keep rocking 😊
You are great 💯💯💯👍👍👍
Thank you so much Sir.
I have an automatic spray gun and I want to automate the rotational angle that is done by hands . what mechanism shall I consider ?
I would like see its pictures or videos. Email me
why in the video of linear actuator you didn't use a screw cad model from THK ?
No specific reason. Hiwin cad model download is really quick. THK making good products
Can i ask what book do you recommend for mechanical calculations and design ?
Better to refer, mechanical standard items catalogue, like for pneumatic, refer SMC or festo, for bearings refer SKF, for Ball screws LM guides refer THK or HIWIN, there are no such one single book, only this channel is here for this 😚
Mecha lock is good or coupling for conveyor belt
Its depends, what is purpose, as i have already said in video
ممتاز شكراً 👍

How to select pneumatic cylinder for leak testing fixture
I'll make videos on this topic
great
why have you added the lenght of the plate to the length of the ball screw?
in the video of linear actuator
Float plate? Yeah, float plate to consider in screw stroke length.
Why it has to be considered ?
Basically, total screw length equal to : Stroke length + Ball nut length + both end bearing length + Coupling length + some extra length (if required)
and in that particular design, i will have to consider ball nut length as float plate total length because i can't travel the float plate over support bearings
Daimond Wire saw machine (220v 50hz) track machine 150kg
Forward reverse gear motor hp & rpm plz
How can i help you?
@mastermechanicaldesign phone number send me sir
Can you added English subtitles for useful me
Allready. Automatic subtitle is there, just turned it on
Thank you sir. Sorry I haven't know that simple step..
Can you make videos in Hindi
Yes, I can make videos in Hindi also, but I can't make it for this channel, this channel serves global audience.
