    Thanks for doing a great video. How does the moment calculation changes when the shaft is directly connected to a motor ?

    What if the belt that goes to the motor was off to the right as opposed to below the mounted shaft? would the force from the motor still contribute to radial load in the same manner?

    thank you very much for this video my question from where you get 300lb although the sum of tensio is 200 plus 50

    Hi, I think there is some wrong input in the excel cells for the load calculation. there is some mis match value with the manual calculation for both bearings.
    When calculating manually, load on bearing By= 300*6/3 = 600 but in the excel cell you put this for bearing Ay. So which is correct result? excel cell or manually calculated? Thanks.

      Consider manual Calculation, The Excel Calculation must be other way round- but it was good explanation

    You said that radius of the pulley doesn't effect the radial load of the bearing. However, same radius is used in calculation. and, changing the radius value changes the result. please explain.

    how to decide where to put the bearings i mean the spacing how much we can give how can we decide that????

    Wel. Explained. But is distance between a and b bearing is more assume 12 Then which bearing is having more load. Kindly reply

    I have a question why A and B, why can't A volcrum point not be on the other side of the force or fly wheel

    What if only use single bearing.. like the single swingarm motorbike which hanging the wheel only one side.. can u share how to calculate the bearing load ?

    • @nhantranb.5172
      @nhantranb.5172 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      all the loads will be applied on that single bearing which means lateral deflection is great

    Hello sir, why did not you consider the fan load?

    • @SM_757
      @SM_757 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i assume for this example you wouldn’t want to account for the fan load. you want the bearings to take all of the load and not the fan itself. otherwise i think the fan would start wobbling

    No , That bearing will not be just fine, get the first one.

    wHY STATIC LOAD? IT SHOULD BE DYNAMIC SINCE THE PULLEY IS ROTATING

    • @jaredfullmer7043

      He probably intended this lecture to be delivered in a class where some of the students don’t have knowledge of dynamics.
