Sneakity sneak, sneak-sneak, sneak-sneak
So many people sleep on hiding inside of the cannons. Angle them forward and always hide in the front most cannon. Very effective on a Gally.
Also, stow your equipment and weapons, they make a sound when you stop hiding.
What if they wanna shoot the cannon
@@valks8981 if you're in the right spot, they won't even see you. It's absolutely wild how many hiding spots that seem like they shouldn't work, actually work out pretty well.

Always dress to impress, one of my crew once caught a pirate trying to tuck who was wearing the glowing ashen trousers...big mistake. Also, I'm glad you included hiding in the loot😊
That happened to my crew too! He had the full ashen dragon set so when my friend went behind there to hide some loot he noticed the man with burning pants behind the table!

Been solo slooping for about 2 weeks now. So far, I've only caught one tucker on my ship, hiding in the crows nest. Since I'm currently doing just tall tales to try to unlock Shores of Gold at the meoment, I rarely have enough loot on my ship to make it worth a tucker's time and effort. Of course, after turning in the treasure from inside the "3 item" chests, I always keep the empty chest around as bait. If I'm getting chased, I can toss those overboard as a distraction, and if my ship gets sunk, they'll be so busy gleefully grabbing the empty chests, I can escape with my quest item if I have one.
Oh yes lol I do that as well. I love keeping a bunch of empty chests around. Someone chased me for 35 minutes straight and then into the Red Sea thinking I have juicy loot. Only to find out after my ship sunk and theirs soon to sink as well that all I had was empty chests and garbage. Wasting their time was very worth it
The empty chest is still worth 700ish gold when selling empty, consider the marauder chest instead next time captain.

@@HitboTC i found another solid spot, jump off the crows nest on a sloop onto the top of the sail, go underneath the crows nest, face the front of the ship and do the sit down emote, be careful to be closer to the edge though because if you are too close to the mast SOMETIMES you can end up glitching through it
Another great video Captain! Although I disagree slightly on what you need to wear. Obviously wearing something like the Ghost set, the Ashen Curse, or anything super bright like the Parrot set would make you easy to spot. But I don't think you need to wear specifically dark clothes. I wear a simplistic outfit that isn't really bright or dark, and anytime I try to hide it works our perfectly fine. It's all about *where* you hide that counts in my opinion, because if you hide in somewhere they'll never check you won't need to be hard to see. And if they do check for you (like swiping their swords around everywhere), they won't even need to see you to find you, so the dark outfit won't help there either. Just personal preference though

There's another awsome tuck spot in every ship...
Go to the crow's nest, jump to the sails, and tuck close to the mast!
Must people never check there
plus, you have a great view of your victims!
Great idea!
However there is a risk that when they angle the sails you will fall through! So you have to stand up and move slightly while the sails move to keep yourself on the mast

On the brig you can hide in the pillow with deck hide, behind the map table, and in between the barrels and the grog barrel within the wooden post

Round pirate with brown or black clothes totally works you just gotta hide in plain sight. Only had a few people notice me and its always a double take followed by a long stare.

If you have the time to make it. You can also tuck on top of the masts. Go into the crows nest, jump onto the sail and run jump to either the front or back mast. And tuck close to the pole. I did this one time, walked away for an hour and a half and was never found
I am kinda new to the game wish to ask you: do you start the game already decided "today i am gonna tuck in someones ship", therefore you don't stack supplies in your ship?
This was great! But question: how does one get their ship to the loot if the ship is so far away?
One of my favorite spots is on the mast on the other side of the ladder, you can do it on any ship and I have never been caught

Great Video, I just have one question. Does anyone have tips for how to deal with the mermaids spawning when swimming up to the boats? They have blown my cover when trying to sneak on to the ship a few times.

Everytime I've been trying to tuck or run into tuckers lately the gamertag is still showing is it broken or am I missing something?
While certainly harder, I have managed to pull a few very successful sneaky sneaks on a bigger boi. Had some clueless pirates finish a fort once and put the mega keg down right in front of where I was hidden, practically BEGGING me to blow them up! :D (ofc I complied)
My 1st time ever playing, as soon as I set sail, there were 2 players tucking on my ship. They killed me right away, and continued to kill me over and over. This was my 1st 30 minutes ever playing. I had no loot, nothing. They would yell obscenities at me and kill me. I had no idea how to counter it, until after about 5 deaths realized I could scuttle a ship. I just stopped playing after that. Completely turned me off to this game and haven't played it again. Really sucks to have such an awful 1st experience.
You should start playing again, it's very fun and tuckers rarely successfully tuck on you if you know what to look out for.
@@PurpleLoki-ei8kc I gave it another chance, got some friends together and we have been having fun. Reached pirate legend even. I'm still bad at PVP, but my friends and I have bonded over the game and it's been alot of fun.

Have they patched the sloop canvas tuck spot? I tried that on my own sloop and didn't blend into the ropes and canvas like he did in this video. Then again I probably did it wrong.

I'm here after a guy hung out on our ship for 20 minutes xD. He burned our ship, and then right before it sunk he said, "Aye! Everything is ok!" Then helped us fix our boat, played some music with us, shot my friend, and fired himself out of our cannon xD what a legend
Try swimming under water and stay on the ladder until the Coast is clear and the are not on the ship. But yes I get not all of them work I get killed sometimes too.

ok, this was helpful... but how do you get your loot back to an outpost to cash in if you send your boat away and swim over?
This - this entire process seems pointless if u don't have a boat to take their loot away with
Take there rowboat take find a rowboat have your teamates pick you up if you are doing it solo ur best bet is a rowboat you will be almost unspotable on one but it's best if you have someone with you

I remember i did a fort and a guy tucked inside our kegs, I saw him, thought it was a friend and lost a lot of stuff.
Unfortunately there is also some reverse psychology issues, you can use the video to find hiding spots to *use* or hiding spots to *check* I recommend finding your own position if you want to really hide and to write down a list of where you find people if you really want to find

I had some foolish Tucker’s try to sneak on a fort let’s just say we demolished them every time :)
