We all know that half of the people are solo slopops
and yet majority of sloops i come across appear to be duo ones. what are the odds!

seems like it! although the last duo sloop i had to deal with completely missed the fact that i was boarding them, which allowed me to distract them for long enough so my ship could bugger off in the sunset.

I’ve been solo slooping emissaries for a while and these are good tips. Always be ready since I got Karen twice right after the other because my server reset...wasn’t happy about that one
this video may be over 2 years old, but this advice still holds true to this day. It's cool to see you doing guides for people that may not necessarily want to PVP solo slooping. You've earned my sub!

I definitely roll a new server if I find I join with a Reapers who's level 4! Then I just stick to the Roar if i can help it

Checking horizon is a great one, I snuck up onto a full closed brig right after they got krakened, they never saw me nor my sloop that I shot myself from until I started talking to them to see if they are good after the kraken, gave them some tips and joined alliance after that them being relatively new.

I was playing with Xbox players prioritized and I got all my loot stolen by hitbo so I’m not so sure that it even works

The other day I was being chased by a sweaty brig and I was solo. I went into the wind and shot over towards a noob sloop using his ship I shot at the brig and that distracted them enough for me to get the shroud breaker (just in case) then a Athena sloop came and we teamed up and destroyed them!
Nice. People who constantly chase 1 solo ship are anoying

That’s why I quit after 2 years. Starting to play Wichter 3. I was not up for any more grinding. Came over me suddenly. I still watch these videos, but no desire to play SOT😁👍

yo these are the most common tuck spots for sure and its good to check them sometimes, but from my experienence (i nearly only solo and got a ton of playtime) if you are aware of other ships and check the horizan a lot you will not be tucked on often. srsly it happens to me like never.
The most effective tip is dont avoid PvP as a solo slooper. Solo PvP is undeniably the best way to improve

well, i wanted to rapidly get experience on solo slooping, and mostly the pvp side... well i just went to sloop arena with open crew! 50%+ amount of time i had to rely on myself to do anything... a lot of experience, and pvp as well (i mostly end up in 2nd place, as i farm up enough cannon ball hits to stay at 2nd place, and play aggresive, but safe, which means: go for the hit as much as possible, then go off, turn back, and skewer the enemy full of holes again... and watch for boarders)

I always carry kegs on my crows nest. It frustrates the players chasing me when I use them to heavily damage their chasing ships. Eventually they all turn and leave me be
Kayla Carter also the crows nest is the best place to put them because it doesn't put holes
Is it just me or are sharks easier to kill now? It used to take 5 pistol shots and 4 eye of reach shots but now its 4 and 3, respectively. Also with the sword buff now i can actually fight them toe to toe (or toe to fin) with just a few well placed swings, before getting chomped on.
started playing 2 weeks ago. my 1st time i played a pirate legend joined me. he helped me get around 100k. the next day i play my crewmate ask me to get the last chest. i said sure and when i jumped off he set the boat on fire xD

Hitbotc, I solo sloop a lot, and I've found that kegs can be useful when you are by yourself. But I wedged mine up against the mast coming through the crow's nest and angle them sideways so if they are behind me, that shot will be incredibly hard to hit. And often times they arent close enough to me to try that shot, then I can board them with one of my kegs and blow it sky high. But I do get why you dont want to keep them up there at the same time. Makes it really dangerous.

If you shoot the bottom of the crows nest and someone is up there, will it do damage? I’ve been doing it lately but don’t know if it actually works because no one really comes to me really
I think the best way is to just toss a blunderbomb.
Don’t put kegs on the crows nest, put them on the bow sprit... makes you looks more dangerous and goes boom when you ram something

I got a grade five emmissery will it took me all day and when I was about to sell them, my ship got stuck inbetween rocks. Originated it then I realised I could sink my ship and go back for the rowboat. It despawned.

The closest i’ve been to pvp is chasing this one guy for 30 minutes until he finally left the game. I got 4 villainous skulls and an ashen chest :)

Nice tips and great video, but I'm a hopeless noob for eternity. I'm getting sunk and killed all the time, by pretty much everyone. I have this game for a year now, and never got better at it. I'm not a PVPer, but don't mind being attacked by others, because duh, it's a PVP based game. I just suck and stick to my still not pirate legend status, never even tried Tall Tales, and yeah, just trying to flee from everyone I encounter. Mostly unsuccessful. So, trying the emissary system is a big no go for me anyway.

I started out a week ago. I can sail fine but when it comes to any ship battle my brain gos dumby mode. Any time I run an emissary I get chased for hours and eventually sunk every time :/
I was getting chased by my first reaper flagged ship last night. They chased me halfway across the world trying to get my rank 3 Order of Souls flag. I finally just rammed my sloop into Golden Sands and sprinted to the OOS table to unflag my ship before it sank. They may have gotten my 6 bounty skulls, but they didn't get the satisfaction of turning in my emissary flag.
I play solo on galleon its really funny try this guys or maybe record video when you play solo galleon pvp try this CHALLENGE

Hey can someone help me out. I sank a solo player and when I went to grab loot it was a skeleton chest with a briggsy spyglass and something else. I feel bad that he was solo and had no loot. Will he be able to redo it. I don't want him to have lost to much progress. Thanks :)
He WILL be able to do the quest again. He was in the middle of a tall tale so in situations like that its best to reach out via xbox messenger and let them know you put the loot on the island.

I was wondering if the makers of this game could put something in it so that when you get lowlife gutter trash in Galions who do nothing else then wast every ones time as well as their own by just killing you and then just staying there and waiting for you to respawn and killing you again so you have no other choice then to leave the game you could report them and they would be banned from the game.

If they board and you are not able to fight back. Scuttle. Learn from the loss and move on. Don't waste time on griefers. Not worth it.

Seriously? Number one thing to remember as SOLO slooper: I can only rely on myself? Like for f-sake how could I forget that, as solo slooper?

It’s more... you can’t rely on anyone but yourself so you need to put the work in to understand the game, pvp, stacking the odds in your favor, etc.
In my honest opinion solo slooping isn't that hard to do Once they removed skeleton galleons spawning on sloops all the pve threats are a joke. The addition of the 3 item treasure chest has made looting much faster. And if you stick to the devils roar which in my experience is an area where very few ships travel you should be almost as efficient as a duo.

Not in this case. If you are on the run and they are close and all you want to do is turn in your flag, drop anchor and go lower the flag. This is of course if you don't care about dying.

You assume as a new player we know how to change server? Other than that loving the content. Also rage quit after 2 days of basically being spawn camped by 4 man teams... Great community way to invite new players...
To change server you just have to exit back to the main menu, then load back in again.
I disagree on your point about kegs. There are a LOT of times where if I'm being chased, I want to make a keg play, and it's rare I'll be able to just pull one out of the water or off an island in a good spot to get it to the enemy.
I think what hitbo is saying is that you should turn and fight if they're stubborn enough to chase you. Just remember that as the one being chased, you're literally always a few steps ahead when you want to make a play.
