Hey Rob, your hard work on prep really paid off. Prep is everything. Wow JC Smith possibly doing a F450 ramp truck. Can't wait to see that on his channel. JC does some outstanding work. Again Rob, really enjoy your channel, great job!! Looking forward to the finished product!!
Spanking job on that Rob, I definitely approve of the colour, I bloody hate bodywork so I feel your pain for sure. But thw result speaks for itself. Keep up the great work Brother. 🇬🇧
funny that i am trying to decide if i am turning a 2005 f450 into a ramp truck as we speak. the body is rust free. currently a v10 gas but......well, ya know. lots of work in body and paint but i think it was all worth it. i figured if i was going to do paint work, i would want to paint all the body at the same time so my colors were the same with one batch. fearful of mixing it slightly different and ending up slightly off. what do you think?
There’s always a possibility when doing it in batches. If I had a booth where I could control the conditions better, I would have done this all in one shot but for me, painting in a barn and having to ventilate, it’s hard for me to do a lot of parts in one shot. my paint shop mixes completely with a computer too, so the color match is pretty spot on. I’ve painted stuff before with different batches of paint from them and never had an issue.
Love watching your work but that color......what were the out of red , black , or dark blue or even Dark Jade metallic green ? Just my too cents . Great work though ! ( Again )
Honestly, I can’t stand red or dark green on any vehicle and blue is just boring. I’m building this truck to be 90’s period correct through and through, so a factory teal fits that bill.

Mega cool Rob, that cab looks awesome!
Thanks Bob. She ain’t perfect, but for an amateur painting in a barn I think it’s as close as it can get.
Looks great Rob!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
