    Buy a small bagged vacuum cleaner like a Eureka Mighty Mite... A pack of vacuum bags that will last forever...and keep the vacuum in the laundry room plugged it and only use it for the purpose of cleaning lint off the screen and around the laundry room... It keeps dust from flying everywhere when cleaning lint... doing laundry creates a LOT of dust...Also get a small attachment that will work for cleaning hard to reach areas of the dryer... I've done this for years thanks to my grandma.. She hated dryer lint getting everywhere and causing dust to fly

      The Bissell Zing is a great little unit. This is the one I purchased. No bags needed and has incredible CFM all the way till its full. A bagged unit will lose CFM quickly. I Sell and Install WholeHome Central Vacuum Systems for a living as well as all Smart Home devices. Great suggestion for price point. :)

      @@HomeGuySolutions Losing CFM isn't really a thing with bagged vacuums nowadays because of the HEPA bags... I can pack one full and still have great suction...I refuse to ever have a bagless vacuum after having a bagged one is so much easier to maintain and keeps the machine itself cleaner.. besides, it's not like you need a ton of CFM for dryer lint anyway.. but some people like them so whatever works for each person I suppose

    I’m certainly not going through all of that water spraying crap who has time for that. It has to be a different way.

    Thanks for the update. Watched your other videos too. And thanks for the link to the other video. I'd be concerned about swapping out with a finer filter since it will further restrict airflow and make drying times longer. But it might be a worthwhile trade-off if it significantly reduces particles getting through.

      I'm keeping a close eye on the new filter for sure. As of right now it's working great! Time will tell. Thanks again

      @@OzarkLivin Good evening OzarkLivin, I have used the secondary filters with 0 issues. The static pressure on the blower is well within range of its capabilities. GE designed that Blower to handle the most restrictive area which is the Entire Mesh Screen. They have also tested it to function with 5 loads worth of lint. As long as airflow makes it through the filter, the coil can properly condense the water out of the air. In fact, the slower the airflow, the better the condensing and removal of moisture / water.
      Reach out if you have any questions on the mods. Also, thank you for the shout outs on your channel. I worked hard and long to develop these solutions and bult the Website for those people that just want a plug and play fix without having to source/cut/test etc. I am doing some further testing with the software / operation on the unit out of necessity and have so many people relying on me since they have paid so much money for these units.
      Thanks again for your support, and feel free to reach out.

    This is awesome grate video, would love to be able to spray it at the 90° angle 📐 so that it’s straight through and not sideways as too much pressure might bend some of the fins. Looking hard at my 3D printer now 😀. Looking forward towards more of this 👍🏼

    • @OzarkLivin
      @OzarkLivin  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was thinking about modifying it to spray at a 90° also. For my first test I figured I would try the sprayer right out of the box. Thanks for the comment!

      You should be able to source a head for your unit. That mist is too fine, you want to be able to get between the fins. The issue is not only on the surface. The lint collects well within the condenser assembly. Go slow start from the bottom work your way to the top and then go from the top down to the bottom again because you don’t want to create a lint ball in the drain by overloading it too quickly.
      After you do the spraying, leave the bottom, drain open, and run rinse cycle. At first, it will let the water in slowly be prepared to capture it on the way out and then it will leave the water on fully, once you see nothing else is coming out with lint, just press the stop button and put the machine back together. You’re good to go. my recommendation after doing that as a safety measure, is run the cleaning cycle. That will force water to all ends of the inside of the drum and the allow whatever loose lint that is in the drum assembly to go down to the pump screen. You should clean that pump screen after running that cycle to make sure you have all the lint. Good to go for another couple months. Great video.

      We sell replacement heads that have a Dual or Tripple Head that will clean the entire assembly and deep into the coil.

      I have completed multiple Deep Cleanings on 2 machines to keep tabs on how quickly and how much lint will build-up over time. No issues with deep cleanings. It's important to do this (Deep Clean) minimum every 6 months in my opinion to keep the unit operating at peak efficiency and protecting the drain pump as well.
      OzarkLivin has done a great job at getting his unit extremely clean with investing in the Electric Sprayer.
