Great video as always! Really detailed and can’t wait to install my Leo on the R3 hopefully this weekend. What’s your thoughts on swapping out the R3s throttle tube for an R6s? Everyone says it’s less throw and works decent, but curious about your thoughts on the mod
We shot a video on this here is a link to it on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/2015-yamaha-yzf-r3-stg-project-bike/#hand Just scroll down a bit and you will see it. We also have a video for the Motion Pro REV2 Throttle Kit install. The R6 throttle tube helps a bit, the full REV2 kit makes a huge difference. - Van
Thanks for watching. This is a model specific part so odds are this will not bolt up to the 2005 ZX10R. Leo does not offer a LV-10 slip on for that bike, sorry. - Van
You can by installing a full system or the M4 street slayer slip on. For the R3 you can ride the bike without a fuel controller as long as you are happy with the performance. - Van
So it's pretty well baffled? I'm thinking of getting it, but worried it might be too loud because it seems pretty small. How would you compare the noise level VS other systems? Great vid, cheers!
Hey man which Slip on would you recommend for an R3, something that sounds fat and loud, in the 200 - 400$ range? By the way thanks for always posting great content!! Cheers
The M4 Yamaha R3 Street Slayer is 100% the one you want. Here is a link to it on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/m4-exhaust-yamaha-yzf-r3-15-17-street-slayer-carbon-slip-on-exhaust/ Thanks for watching. - Brian Van
@@dan_abrusci Im stuck on this same exact question. I thought about the M4 slip on also but I know I will be selling the bike in a year so I don't want to cut the cat off.
Rubbing alcohol can be tough on some surfaces. At this point I have installed a metric shit ton of exhaust systems of all types and have cleaned them with multiple products, IMO WD40 (or equivalent) is the best option. Like anything there are exceptions to this and always read the instructions that came with the system to see if they recommend a product for cleaning the system. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear whatever floats your boat. Rubbing alcohol evaporates quickly and is amazing for bare metal. I'd say no for anything with cheap paint and or clear coat.
Just bought this slip on for my MT03. So awesome! Great quality that Leo Vince' is known for. Worth every penny.
Thanks for watching and for sharing your feedback. - Van
I thought Leo Vince were known for being more affordable than the other brands.
Just installed the LV10 my MT-03. Looks and sounds way better! Thanks for your video!
You are welcome and thank you for watching! - Van
and there is a real difference with the orginine ?
That is a clean exhaust I got mine on Monday can't wait to install it.
Leo makes a great product for sure. - Van
Killer exhaust! Sounds Awesome perfect fit for the R3... all the other exhausts on the market sound like trail bikes!
My kit came with a pull tool for the spring install.
That is a nice touch for sure. - Van
Great video! Helped me install on my R3. Thank you.
You are welcome and thank you for watching! - Van
How do you like the sound? Do you think it sounds better than the Akro?
Which one would you say is louder the Leo Vince or the akropovic slip on?
Akrapovic. The Akra sounds more raw and the LV has more muffled tone.
Sc is the best on an r3 as my opinion
Could you do a video on the “Leo Vince LV PRO slip on”
Sorry we are not going to be installing any more slip on systems on this bike. - Van
stock - 2:36
leovince - 13:55
Thanks for sharing. - Van
that does sound so good! what exhaust would you recommend for club racing/ or track day events?
What is your budget?
Sportbike Track Gear I don’t really have one. It’s so hard to choose from so many awesome exhaust manufacturers

Hey did u install ist yet?
@@alexman176 I did! Runs fantastic, definitely a great pick up. Super easy install and sounds 100x better!
Would probably fit a 2005 zx10r? Also how loud compared to other exhausts?
Great vid! Thanks

Hi Brian, is the mid pipe included in the purchase with the muffler? And do you ship to Vancouver?
Yes it comes complete and we ship to CA using USPS or DHL. At this time DHL is the best option. - Van
that muffler does to good of a job, are you able get rid of the muffler altogether? and not need to change the tune or have a fuel controller ??

It is not super loud IMO, very comparable to other slip ons. - Van
Cat does the job xD

Wow the M4 does sound amazing!!! Thanks for your quick response man!
Hey Brian,
For slip ons for this bike where you can keep the cat, Sound wise, would you recommend this one or the Akrapovic?
Thanks man!
They are pretty similar, I think this Leo is a little deeper due to the shape of the can. IMO both are kick ass on the bike. - Van

It will be excellent if you could show the db levels. !
OMG....Very nice....Look so Good
Would the Leovince gp corsa work for this bike? And does it sound similar or better than this lv10?
IMO the sound would be pretty much the same for a slip on. - Van
Can you install on 2016 Yamaha R1? Please
Sorry we will not be able to do that, the STG R1 was sold last year at this time. - Van
Sportbike Track Gear oh okay. Stupid question, how would this exhaust sound on the 2016 Yamaha R1? Thanks and keep up with these dope videos
Hi, from Japan.
Can this be installed on an R25 2021?
Sorry I am not familiar with that model so I do not know. - Van
What did you use to lubricate the spool
No need to use any lubrication on the spool. Use a little blue loctite when you install them to make sure they do not vibrate off. - Van
Just use rubbing alcohol. WD40 contains oil and if that's similar then I'd use just rubbing alcohol since it evaporates.

I just ordered this pipe for my CBR 300 and now don't know if I should use alcohol or WD40
wow..... can it fit on ninja250sl?
INSTALL NOTE: PRE CLEAN THE CAT OUTPUT PIPE BEFORE NEW PIPE INSTALLATION. I didn't do this and it was so difficult to bottom out the new lead gasket
If there is some excessive build up that could reduce the tolerance a bit. - Van
I want to order the black one for my CBR 300R. Got a link, Brian? I tried to find it. Revzilla lists it but OOS.
Will this sound good in BMW g310r
The change should from stock should be pretty similar to the change on the R3 IMO. - Van
Hi Brian ,
that was hilarious. Ha ha ha ha ,
Has It got dbkiller?
No there is no db killer available for this slip on. - Van
Faz da cb500
sounds better on a ninja 400....don't know why
Must be those extra 80cc. - Van
nike )
30$ :) for spools worth 6$
Trust me when I tell you no one is getting rich from making swing arm spools. - Van
