I agree with you, it sounds way better without the db killer. It really seems to let more bass through and even the exhaust tone out. With the DB killer it seemed like it was much higher pitched and kind of tin can like if that makes sense. Sounds amazing.

I know I'm probably in the minority but I actually like the sound better with the baffle in. Less obnoxious at idle and midrange, but still sounds great when you hit the high rpms. I'd also worry about cruising drone with the baffle out. Not a problem if you only go for relatively short rides in and around town and the lake, but sitting on the highway for hours with that no-baffle drone can drive a person insane. I guess it's easy enough to just put the baffle back in for longer rides.

I ended up putting the stock silencer on that setup and it was gnarly enough to sound cool but the volume was low and didn't blast my ears. Best of all - cops didn't notice it anymore.

I have the Graves full system on my R6, which is in the same tier as the Leo Vince, and a full day of riding can leave me partially deaf. That's mainly if i ride on the highway though, so that's just another reason to avoid highways for me.
