Holy shit those bars are HIDEOUS!!!! Where’s the curve to contour to the faring?! They are straight and look so bad on this bike 🤢
✌️👶🚬
I have one but its really beat up and missing pieces
Previously owned may say it all😂 that VVT no bueno but looks very nice
Breakout! My 24 in Burst Blue is a cruizer for sure. Thanks for the ride on the Raleigh backroads. Been a while since living there. Now in Florida with year round riding!
Sweet looking softtail
I have been looking at the HD Pan American for a while, just hard to decide amongst the BMW1300 adventure and Ducati Multistrada V4 rally. I like the fact that it comes fully loaded and not have to pay for the extras the other two need to complete. How does this really handle off road? I would ride mainly for my daily commute, but I am going off road to do my photography in the mountain's areas, yes there are paths for riding a motorcycle, some TH-cam videos, even from HD show it can handle off road riding . Can this really handle the various conditions all around?
The Pan America, especially the CVO that comes stock fully loaded is an excellent value. The hard cases are sturdy enough to carry your luggage and camera gear. They also happen to make incredible commuter bikes. Off-Road suspension and more robust features make surprise pot holes and other daily hazards light work. These motorcycles do handle themselves well off-road. What you'll hear most people mention is the overall size and weight of this bike (and the others you mentioned) making off-roading more tricky. That's where the skill of the rider will be most important. Have you had the chance to ride one yet?
@@TobaccoRoadHD I went to the dealership to look at the CVO Pan American and it was behind a chained barrier, no one asked me if I wanted to see it up close or show me its features, which was a bad sign already. Forget the test ride, no such thing as they had to be present for me to even sit on the bike. They just asked for a deposit to hold it when I didn't even get the chance to even see how it works. I may just go to the other dealerships as they already offered me to take a test ride, demo ride, that is far better than asking me for money without ever taking it on the road to see if it actually fit me? I appreciate you responding but no wonder why Harley is seemingly losing its customers, reducing their locations especially in NY. and they sell the same rides without any significant changes. Such a shame I would really like to see how this motorcycle handles both terrains.
@@TobaccoRoadHD Despite that, how does it work late into the night. Some Motorcycle don't have good lighting to see ahead, LED is only as good as the bulb puts out lighting. I am still looking for a dealership, one more try. Can you recommend any dealership in the NY metro area? That provide a test ride?
Hello when you changed the to the screaming eagle breather did you lose hp?
I live in Australia and I'm 67 year old rider, who started on Triumphs in the early 70's. I bought a 97 883 from a friend back in 2009. It had just over 25k miles on it and was in pretty good shape, plaus the price he wanted was way less than half the price of a new one. It had a 2-1 exhaust system on it that made it go harder than a standard one and I got even more after taking it a guy with a dyno, who put an S&S teardrop air filter setup on it and it topped out at 54hp, which was nice, but a few years later, I stripped the bike right down and did a ground up rebuild, which included a Hammer Performance 1275 kit, suspension upgrade from and rear, rework of the front part of the wiring loom, which moved the ignition switch to beneath the battery box and the coil to the LHS, between the heads, tucked the wires under the tank, without tank lifters, and some other stuff. I haven't put it on a dyno, partly because it's DAMN expensive and partly because It don't really care. It runs VERY well, with bags of power and torque. I run a 29 tooth belt sprocket on the gearbox end of things, while the 883 is 27 teeth. This affected low down power a bit as an 883, but now it's just right. I had to fit a gizmo in the wiring between the gearbox and Speedo, that adjusts the signal and keeps the speedo accurate. I've had the bike up to just over 185kmh (115mph) without much trouble at all and there's a bit more, but our police are seriously lacking in humour and that speed would've seen me fined nearly a grand, pus a 3 month licence suspension, so I'm careful. I KNOW there's a LOT of torque there though, because I've been a bit careless at the lights once or twice and it lifts the front wheel without any problems. Just twist the grip and there ya go. I don't care what anyone says about 'girl's bikes', hell, when I started riding, a Norton 850 Commando was considered HUGE and a Triumph 650 twin was a big bike. People who say that stuff either don't know what they're talking about, or they're trying to compensate for something imho. I wouldn't touch a factory 1200 Sporty though, because the pistons are WAAAY too heavy and they put rev limiters and all sorts on 'em to try and stop them vibrating themselves to bits. The 883 units are exactly the same as the 1200's from the bottom of the barrels down and an 883 is THE Sportster to get if you want a project bike. Bein' an old fart, I did all the work myself, with a bit of a hand from a carburettor specialist doing plug reading to get the carby set up just right after the break-in was completed. I estimate the bike has near doubled in torque and is putting out somewhere in the 80's in horsepower, which is plenty for a 440lb bike. It's a bit of a 'sleeper' and I like surprising people who don't expect much from the old gal. ;-)
I wish I could find one with ABS
Get in touch and we can let you know when one comes through! www.tobaccoroadhd.com/
so your telling me i should get the Milwakee 8?
It's a tough choice... Each has their own feel, but Isaac thinks the M8 Fat Bob rips just a little harder.
I've owned two Pan Am's--a '22 and currently a 24' CVO. Fantastic bike in the dirt or on the highway. Having said that, the sport bags are absolute junk. Overpriced and very prone to leakage and lock failure. I had three sets on my '22. The first two sets both failed and were replaced under warranty--the last replacement took 6 months due to backorder status. Do not waste your money. Spend a little more and get the aluminum set.
❤👍
I know i love my laguna orange 17. Tgose little things rip.
Why didn't you start it up, so wet could hear it? 😂
Have a 2023 breakout and love it. Also have a Kawasaki H2 SX. Find myself riding the breakout more and drag my boot all the time. 🤙🏼
16:16 Your stop-n-go traffic test was cute while you're 10 miles from the nearest car, or stop light, or stop sign, or jaywalking pedestrian 😂😂 I live in NYC. Let me do that test for you, please?
I wanted to show some stop and go, not stop and stop lol
Your scared to open it up
Terrified of all that POWA
Got mine for St. Patty's Day👍👍
I just noticed I can feel the vibration 8:21 and the sound I love... gets my blood pumping.
What kind of risers are those?
Seemed like the riser setup from a Nightster
My 09 is NOT for sale...
😂😂😂lame 😂😂😂gay 😂😂😂😂it comes with LGBT 🏳️🌈 GOD MODE😂😂😂😂
I appreciate showing this bike Brother 48, 88, 98, 2008 there great year's and all cool Harley davidson quality machines awsome stuff
Ride home.. You Ride motorcycles
I first saw Ray at Johnny Doweys' Blaney race track in approx. 1978. Also first time I remember seeing Larry McBride running around in sweaty jeans and long hair as a crew man. Rays claim to fame was he could ride the whole quarter mile without touching down front tire using it as a rutter in the wind to stay in the lane. What a crazy time. 👍🤍🌞😎
The bikes keep getting better and better ❤
Love my 2018 Deluxe..such a looker without the ugly bags...
I have the CVO ST Road Glide. Its simple IMO, if you like to ride around the city and hit some canyons for a few hours and come home the same day or the day after then the CVO ST is more fun. If you are a long distance cruising type then get the CVO because it is much more comfortable and touring oriented.
Thanks for sharing!
I like them but i wanted more power didnt want put no 1200 kit on one i just got a 09 sportster 1200C
👍
Them are some beautiful bikes , wish I could afford one. ❤
Remember those rides that were in front of every grocery store in the 60s & 70s? Kid hops on it, mom drops a dime in the slot, and it rocks back and forth for a minute... Thats where I've seen this bike before, especially the engine.
haha! Every bike wants to look like an H-D ;)
The engine literally looks like it's made out of plastic
have a 2017 fat bob from new, will never sell, my only comment - the stock saddle was removed in months, it's horrible
Enjoy it!
I'm 6'2 am I too tall ??
You might feel a little cramped with the mid foot controls, fortunately forward controls are an easy addition to these bikes. I'd recommend sitting on some first to see what feels comfortable.
At 1:06....I had no idea it did that for more ventilation!
How do I know the fuel tank is empty, is there a fuel meter available?
Yes! On these bikes, they have a fuel cap on the right and a gauge on the left of the tank. You'll see it just beside the speedometer.
@TobaccoRoadHD really
The Iron 1200 is the best looking in my opinion.
Thank you this helpful
Yehh so
My 2004 Road King has 57,000 miles it's Awesome
Keep at it!
can you mount a 'hammock style seat to make it bearable for the passenger ?
Currently the only Hammock seats available are for the Softail and Grand American Touring lines. I would recommend checking out the Sundowner passenger pillion.
You make me drool with the beautiful bikes you show. You do an awesome job. Love your videos , just wish i were able to ride. ❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much! The right Riding Academy class can get anyone riding!
@TobaccoRoadHD I'm disabled
Ok, got a question. You showed the radio and then said to go to bluetooth etc to go up and the am fm selection screen came up. I tried to switch up with the right toggle but switching it up nothing happens. I have 22 triglide so it's the newer infotainment like your ultra ltd. So from the radio screen is there something else you did other than using the right toggle going up?
Hey there! So you'll need to look for what is highlighted. It showed those options for me because I used the right toggle to change what was highlighted and I moved that selection to the top center. When the top center is highlighted, you can press the middle of the toggle to select it and you should see those options. Also, when switching over to Bluetooth options, you have to first have the phone connected in the settings. Let me know if that helps!
