I just got a 90cc thumpstar for $200 Australian. Its good condition, has new front tyre, new carb and serviced. Its old 2004 - 2006 but it runs well and starts first kick. If you look after them they will last years
Hello mate I work at a spray and repair shop and I had kids come in with their little bikes like these and had the same problem, all I did was re align the header and also put new gaskits evreywhere
The thing you say is a choke isnt actually a choke all it does is allow for extra fuel to go through the carb to allow the bike to warm up quicker also the screw on the side is the air fuel ratio the idle screw is under the carb the mikuni one would of been perfect for the engine it is the same one i use. The high idle is cased by the lever being down you should only ride with it up
Why such a small torque wrench, I would understand if it's a part of a mobile roadside repair kit but would a longer handle not make disassembly easier ? ? ?
I was given a 70cc Chinese Baja pit bike (for my 9 year old son and 10 year old daughter) in even worse shape. It was laying it a pile of scrap metal with no throttle, cable or carb. Rusted rims. rear wheel seized, both tires flat/cracked, plastic falling apart, Engine seized (I assume from water/rust). Lets see how it goes.
What is that top hose for that cracked off at around 1:40? I think it's spilling oil on my motorcycle but i don't know what it's for. Thank you for the video!
I don't think your engine burn oil.. I think the carb is damaged and all the fuel that doesn't used in the carb,it turned to smoke.. There's a logic for that.. I'm sorry for my English
Sick video Legend! I liked and subbed! Very informative. Do you mind checking out our channel if you get a chance? We do sketchy videos with pitbikes, fireworks and cars. Thanks man

Hope it fixes your problem man
I ordered new gaskets and a new carb, that should hopefully fix the problem.
@@LegendsGarage yhyh hopefully man, you should have more time on vids now due to coronavirus
Yes, but also fewer packages due to the coronavirus.
Last week, this week and next week is gonna be constant storms. Really sucks having to worry about my bike flying away.
I was worried the roof of my shed was going to fly off.

Well done good videos keep up the good work
Thank you! I appreciate the support!
I could use some helping trying to figure out what the other drain plug is next to the oil drain plug…the one with the spring and the shaft.
I believe you are referring to the chain tensioner.
Poor YZF , hopefully the new owners will look after it
I gave it the love it needed, it will go to a good new home.
Please make a new vid on this cos I’m living for the finished bike!
A new video coming soon!

Because good sets of tools are expensive.

Goodluck!
Hey, there are two bolts under the engine. One for the draining, and the other one. Whats that for and how do I install it the right way
Theres a spring in that

That's the crankcase breather hose. Oil shouldn't be pouring out there.
what is the piston size?
Looks new cos it probably never had the run in oil changed for proper oil, possibly faulty from new and never ran for very long
Bike runs great!
Is that engine a 107cm?

Hey mr legend, could you give me the link to the same mirrors that you have on your yzf r125, they are really clean! Keep working like you do!
Hey, I have a video on the channel of me installing the mirrors, the link should be in the description of that video.
why didn't you try adjusting the valves
I did adjust the valves in the upcoming episode.
Make an update please!
Update coming soon!
Think logically if the throttle cable is too short then....
Idk where my oil filters at need help
Ir's a small mesh piece in the engine.
I have a pitbike with a 15 year old engine and its cleaner on the inside than this engine. Must have been sitting in a garage for all that time

When the Engine looks so good why did it run like shit
Because the carb was junk. After installing a new carb the bike ran fine.
