What about making a proper kit for the elantra N/ i30n sedan? All you did is repackage this one and the fitment is rubbish on the elantra N. The tube hits the hood, the filter rubs against the ecu. Looks like you put profits in front of fitment
Hello, thanks for getting in touch. The induction kit was originally developed at our UK headquarters for the i30N - in conjunction with our British Touring Car Championship i30N programme - and were subsequently confirmed by dealers and customers to fit the Veloster N 's in Canada, where we worked with dealers to make the necessary changes for compatibility. A number of US customers took matters into their own hands by fitting the kit to their Elantra's - all gave us feedback confirming fitment. After some doubts, our development team travelled from the UK to Forge USA to inspect the Elantra N - as it's not a vehicle that's available here in the UK. They determined that they were not happy with the fitment. We have since worked at great length to develop, manufacture and test specific parts for the Elantra N, including a dedicated induction kit, which will be released very soon. What were originally offered to Elantra N owners were not re-packaged kits, they were - exactly - the same product as that offered to i30N owners, with the same product code. Compatibility was updated based on feedback from owners, then retrospectively changed in light of new information. We can assure you that profits certainly don't come before quality. They never have, and they never will. - Forge Motorsport
