Beginner 10 is very easy to get. Simply buy empty bottles from the mat vendor, set autogather for river water, walk away for half an hour.

im not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not, but you can acquire a:
magic lumbering axe/ tanning knife by selecting 'imperial delivery' option at a stable and exchange 2 imperial training tokens you get;
butcher knife/ pickaxe are from killing robbers (red icon on map, lv50 mobs) who drops imperial conquest tokens while you have at least 1 trade item with you;
fluid collector from imperial fishing token when you sell gold/blue fish to imperial fishing managers;
magic hoe from Calpheon trade tokens which you acquire from completing trade quests in Calpheon territory.

Very Helpful guide! well thought out and with time stamps awesome job!. Also along for underwater gathering you can eat hard-boiled shellfish, gives 2 gathering and +10 underwater breathing

Fantastic video! A newbie to BDO, and one of the things I haven't figured out is how to easily track what you actually gather. I haven't found any logs or other displays of what I've gathered, what I gathered it from, etc. How does someone easily track their gathering success, % of rare drops, what you've spent and earned on items you gather/sell/process, etc.?

Reforming your armor & offhand is definitely worth it. Reforming your blue awakening weapon is worth it once you hit TRI. Other than that I wouldn't worry about it.

Hi. Im very new to te game. One Char at 53 and approx. 10M im storage. I love your videos but Im confused on what to focus my time first. Gathering, Grinding(Slow with my gear), CP farming ? I would love some advice from you
you mentioned putting magic crystals for breathing, is that's better than using gatherer clothes ?
Is it better to sell tough hides or process them and then sell them as fine tough hides?
I think the sharp black crystal shards didn't come to my server yet, is it still worth it?

CP routes haven't really changed. The only updated CP grind would be 1 second cooking - this really just boils down to accumulating all the items that reduce cook times (silver embroidered costume, teff sandwich, cash shop outfit, alchemy stone, advanced tool)

Do u confirm in own experience this yellow alchemy stone gathering item drop rate working?
In my experience, making Lucky Shining (yellow) tools yourself is pretty cheap as you can simply sell the normal yellow versions on the market and get the money for the pure iron crystal back.
worker elixir drops off helms mobs often
Nimbling Fingers guild buff goes up to +3.. A bunch of guilds have this so you can just have that + balenos meal and you got that level 5 gathering. :)

pretty sure this piece of info you are looking for is easy to find on google, but the area from florin to florin gateway is the best spot for pine.
Somethinglovely.net can show you the highest density for pine spots since those are static spawns. As for the workshop guide, I'll make a 2017 version at some point, but I've also put a pinned comment on that video in the meantime.
Serious question- Is there anyway for someone around lvl 30 to get into afk / passive incomes? Or should I wait until i'm in the 50's+ before pursuing ?
Your contribution & lifeskills can be improved independently of your level, so you can start doing it whenever you want.
Im just starting out the game and have been working on my work empire and I've been dumping my energy in rolling workers and was wondering if I should spend my energy on this > dumping my energy trying to get a good worker?
make alts and use their energy for the workers imo
Save your lifeskillers energy for gathering so you get the skills - the workers are for the whole account so you can just use another character to roll for them
Do you know of any other spots? Or Perhaps the respawn time on the giant clams because when I go out every other channel isn't interactable, so that kind of hurts your profit..
I'd use somethinglovely.net to find any other oyster spots if Al Naha is too crowded
Does investing energy in the node near your gathering area help you with the drops or does that only help with monsters drops.

Instead of taking Balenos-Meal: Eat Fig Pie. It increased rare item drop rate by 3%. For me I have 2Lvl guildbuff, +1 gatherer clothes and +2 through worker elixir. + fig pie.
Swimming in this game is very, very, veeeery shitty. It might as well be lava and kill me. That's how much I hate swimming.
It could definitely benefit from a rework.

What's your opinion on most busted use of hedgehog? I can't tell if using it to just get more base level goods like hides/meat is better than things like truffle/mithril. Thoughts?
Pilgrims with HedgeGod make jewelry crates a actual thing but can't tell if it's worth.

How do u have luck+5 when u r wearing gathering +2 clothes?
Thwin Htoo Zan you can get luck from gaining titles - 50 titles give 1 luck 75 2 100 3.... plus u can magic crystal of perfection +1 luck from jewel vendor in Calpheon for 250k or from ah 300k

Great video, but I wouldn't count the sharps and hards for silver per hour because they are RNG.
Totally agree... I've been using magic tools, art 7 gathering, 5 luck.. and only manage around 3 total using all my 350 energy gathering lamb meat.. so the RNG component shouldn't be a hard value of what you can earn
While I got 4 of em in under 30 minutes. The RNG in this game is so very real.
Don't worry RNGesus hates me as well lol. Last night I got an alt to 56 so I was enhancing my awakening weapon. I failed going to pri 5 times with 25 fs which is supposed to give you about a 50/50 chance.
Between Balzor and myself we have over 70000 gathering trials logged, while you don't make the same amount literally every hour, over a long period of time this will be the average rate.
of course it's RNG, but RNG is always a percentual chance and with higher samplesizes, or in other words long term planning for several weeks/months, you can calculate then in for sure ...
