im not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not, but you can acquire a: magic lumbering axe/ tanning knife by selecting 'imperial delivery' option at a stable and exchange 2 imperial training tokens you get; butcher knife/ pickaxe are from killing robbers (red icon on map, lv50 mobs) who drops imperial conquest tokens while you have at least 1 trade item with you; fluid collector from imperial fishing token when you sell gold/blue fish to imperial fishing managers; magic hoe from Calpheon trade tokens which you acquire from completing trade quests in Calpheon territory.
Very Helpful guide! well thought out and with time stamps awesome job!. Also along for underwater gathering you can eat hard-boiled shellfish, gives 2 gathering and +10 underwater breathing
It's so nice to find someone doing guides that puts effort into their descriptions with timestamp contents etc, and very well thought out videos - keep it up! Also, is it worth mentioning places like Northern Wheat Plantation is people are just looking to grind out levels for gathering?
Wow what an amazing resource...and game intellect. I absolutely love your content sir. I hope you are still playing BDO. I will be adding something to your patron
Nice video. Accurate and still clear enough for beginner. Thank you for the BDO community. Looking forward to encounter more people on my gathering spots now haha Cheers !
I would really appriciate if you could make a 3rd guide, describing what items are most worth to craft from materials that you gather from you top nodes list. Like, what is the best thing to craft for profit from copper, iron, ash timber, etc
Fantastic video! A newbie to BDO, and one of the things I haven't figured out is how to easily track what you actually gather. I haven't found any logs or other displays of what I've gathered, what I gathered it from, etc. How does someone easily track their gathering success, % of rare drops, what you've spent and earned on items you gather/sell/process, etc.?
Great guide as always. But i think because this guide is primarily for new players, I think you should mention how to recover energy so important in the gathering.
In my experience, making Lucky Shining (yellow) tools yourself is pretty cheap as you can simply sell the normal yellow versions on the market and get the money for the pure iron crystal back.
Hi Morrolan, this was a very helpful guide! I'd also like to know if there's an area high in density for pine timber gathering for epheria boat crafting. Also, will you be doing an update for your "Best Workshop for Money Making" guide? Thanks for the great videos!
Somethinglovely.net can show you the highest density for pine spots since those are static spawns. As for the workshop guide, I'll make a 2017 version at some point, but I've also put a pinned comment on that video in the meantime.
CP routes haven't really changed. The only updated CP grind would be 1 second cooking - this really just boils down to accumulating all the items that reduce cook times (silver embroidered costume, teff sandwich, cash shop outfit, alchemy stone, advanced tool)
Instead of taking Balenos-Meal: Eat Fig Pie. It increased rare item drop rate by 3%. For me I have 2Lvl guildbuff, +1 gatherer clothes and +2 through worker elixir. + fig pie.
Nimbling Fingers guild buff goes up to +3.. A bunch of guilds have this so you can just have that + balenos meal and you got that level 5 gathering. :)
Do you know of any other spots? Or Perhaps the respawn time on the giant clams because when I go out every other channel isn't interactable, so that kind of hurts your profit..
Morrollan ! I am a recent subscriber and a newcomer to the game.. but i really enjoy your videos man! very nice voice to listen to as well and audio recording :D keep up the good work ^^ any chance you could make a guide at some point about reform? cant seem to find any at youtube and i was thinking if it was worth to do or nah but no real info sadly :l anyways looking forward to your next video :D
Reforming your armor & offhand is definitely worth it. Reforming your blue awakening weapon is worth it once you hit TRI. Other than that I wouldn't worry about it.
What's your opinion on most busted use of hedgehog? I can't tell if using it to just get more base level goods like hides/meat is better than things like truffle/mithril. Thoughts?
Im just starting out the game and have been working on my work empire and I've been dumping my energy in rolling workers and was wondering if I should spend my energy on this > dumping my energy trying to get a good worker?
make alts and use their energy for the workers imo Save your lifeskillers energy for gathering so you get the skills - the workers are for the whole account so you can just use another character to roll for them
can i upgrade mon weapons still too ultimate or i have too upgrade them at +15 and nice guide keep your work up your videos helped me out allot thans for that
Hi. Im very new to te game. One Char at 53 and approx. 10M im storage. I love your videos but Im confused on what to focus my time first. Gathering, Grinding(Slow with my gear), CP farming ? I would love some advice from you
Serious question- Is there anyway for someone around lvl 30 to get into afk / passive incomes? Or should I wait until i'm in the 50's+ before pursuing ?
Thwin Htoo Zan you can get luck from gaining titles - 50 titles give 1 luck 75 2 100 3.... plus u can magic crystal of perfection +1 luck from jewel vendor in Calpheon for 250k or from ah 300k
Totally agree... I've been using magic tools, art 7 gathering, 5 luck.. and only manage around 3 total using all my 350 energy gathering lamb meat.. so the RNG component shouldn't be a hard value of what you can earn
Don't worry RNGesus hates me as well lol. Last night I got an alt to 56 so I was enhancing my awakening weapon. I failed going to pri 5 times with 25 fs which is supposed to give you about a 50/50 chance.
Between Balzor and myself we have over 70000 gathering trials logged, while you don't make the same amount literally every hour, over a long period of time this will be the average rate.
of course it's RNG, but RNG is always a percentual chance and with higher samplesizes, or in other words long term planning for several weeks/months, you can calculate then in for sure ...
im not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not, but you can acquire a:
magic lumbering axe/ tanning knife by selecting 'imperial delivery' option at a stable and exchange 2 imperial training tokens you get;

Beginner 10 is very easy to get. Simply buy empty bottles from the mat vendor, set autogather for river water, walk away for half an hour.
Dude morollan I love your videos man...and the timestamps..Legit. Also very easy listening. Keep up the good work :)
I appreciate you saying so :)
Always thought gathering was a chill mechanic in the game, yet finding spots was always a pain. Thanks for the great guide!
Very Helpful guide! well thought out and with time stamps awesome job!. Also along for underwater gathering you can eat hard-boiled shellfish, gives 2 gathering and +10 underwater breathing
You've just earned a subscriber. Your guides are meticulous and easy to follow. Thanks a lot for helping us newbs make our gameplay better!

such an informative video.. no bullshit no scam.. straight to the point and precise.. +1 subscribed
Im ashamed of myself not subbing you on twitch. Great content!
Worth noting they recently fixed the diving mask so it now increases your underwater breathing
Clear and infomative video. thx Morrolan! subbed!
Best explanation of the Gathering Skill. Well Done.

Swimming in this game is very, very, veeeery shitty. It might as well be lava and kill me. That's how much I hate swimming.
It could definitely benefit from a rework.
.swimming is pearls in this game if u don't have a costum u cant swim

pretty sure this piece of info you are looking for is easy to find on google, but the area from florin to florin gateway is the best spot for pine.
Somethinglovely.net can show you the highest density for pine spots since those are static spawns. As for the workshop guide, I'll make a 2017 version at some point, but I've also put a pinned comment on that video in the meantime.
Great content! Keep up the good quality of your videos!
thx for the guide man really helpfull for a new player like me ! waiting for the next vid !
thanks for the video to help me out as a new gatherer in the amazing world of BDO, helps a lot XDD
no prob!
Thanks for the guide man. Can you consider making updated contribution point video guide ?

I'd use somethinglovely.net to find any other oyster spots if Al Naha is too crowded

Thanks for quick answer :D
What's your opinion on most busted use of hedgehog? I can't tell if using it to just get more base level goods like hides/meat is better than things like truffle/mithril. Thoughts?
Pilgrims with HedgeGod make jewelry crates a actual thing but can't tell if it's worth.
It's just a multiplier, so it's equally good everywhere
worker elixir drops off helms mobs often
you and rhyker sound the same! great guides btw!
you mentioned putting magic crystals for breathing, is that's better than using gatherer clothes ?
Does investing energy in the node near your gathering area help you with the drops or does that only help with monsters drops.
Rolgnart you sure? Thanks anyway
it only increases loot dropped from mobs xD
Im just starting out the game and have been working on my work empire and I've been dumping my energy in rolling workers and was wondering if I should spend my energy on this > dumping my energy trying to get a good worker?
make alts and use their energy for the workers imo

This video is so well done. Thanks.
Is it better to sell tough hides or process them and then sell them as fine tough hides?
very nice video. an adult making the guide video is so much better!
Is there a reason I am getting sheep wool instead of meat? or is it just because of you're gathering level?
You need to use a butcher knife instead of a tanning knife
can i upgrade mon weapons still too ultimate or i have too upgrade them at +15 and nice guide keep your work up your videos helped me out allot thans for that

I think the sharp black crystal shards didn't come to my server yet, is it still worth it?
Do u confirm in own experience this yellow alchemy stone gathering item drop rate working?
Serious question- Is there anyway for someone around lvl 30 to get into afk / passive incomes? Or should I wait until i'm in the 50's+ before pursuing ?
Your contribution & lifeskills can be improved independently of your level, so you can start doing it whenever you want.
How do u have luck+5 when u r wearing gathering +2 clothes?
Thwin Htoo Zan you can get luck from gaining titles - 50 titles give 1 luck 75 2 100 3.... plus u can magic crystal of perfection +1 luck from jewel vendor in Calpheon for 250k or from ah 300k
How much money you have if not a secret?
not banking very much atm, but I probably spend around 2-3 billion per month
Morrolan TV wow thats alot good job men, love your videos
lol that hard you got at goat moutain was so funny lolol
is this guide still relevent
Yes
Could you do a video of imperial trading? :o
Great video man, can you make a trading guide? I would love to see a life skill guide from you on trading.
Holy moly! That was helpful.
Helpful video thanks man:)
Great video, but I wouldn't count the sharps and hards for silver per hour because they are RNG.
Totally agree... I've been using magic tools, art 7 gathering, 5 luck.. and only manage around 3 total using all my 350 energy gathering lamb meat.. so the RNG component shouldn't be a hard value of what you can earn
While I got 4 of em in under 30 minutes. The RNG in this game is so very real.
Don't worry RNGesus hates me as well lol. Last night I got an alt to 56 so I was enhancing my awakening weapon. I failed going to pri 5 times with 25 fs which is supposed to give you about a 50/50 chance.

Guide God. Thank you for your efforts. :)
Make a second part " Most efficient wat to level gather " energy is a limitation
Bro, you sound like Tom Cruise. On another note - great vid, thank you
