Unofrtunatley game is dead there is nothing to do in NW:A they killed end game crafting and they killed M3 dungeons, they introduce 10 man raid and PVP zone after 8 months which didint even contain meaningful rewards. :((( such wasted potential spend 3.5k hours in the game but devs are just incompetent bastards.
I've returned to Aeternum just for the MSQ. The new sequenzes and story line is very good so far. I doubt that I'll keep on grinding on the new char after the MSQ though...

Leveling fishing is worth it if you also max out cooking. Legendary fish allows you to make high-end +48 stat food that is coveted by PVP players. They sell out before wars.
I don’t see how people complain about there not being enough to do. I have 2K hrs and stopped playing shortly after brimstone sands came out but find myself thoroughly enjoying the update. There’s plenty to do, and the game is as immersive as ever. Keep up the great content!

@@gamezonereactions8388 Doing anything and everything to level > MSQ / forced questing. At least that's how I feel. I originally leveled doing mission board quests. Now those are nerfed and the only real way to level (also due to stuff locked behind quests) is the MSQ.

My initial reaction: "What the hell are you doing for so long in videogames anyway, let alone one game." the fishing is half-arsed, but i'm not skipping the music. i'm a musician who used to play WOW and Neverwinter, the music system was the reason i decided to try New World in the first place. i'm only lvl 31, but i have discovered that noobs in the first village will pay gold for badly performed music buffs, lol. i imagine busking in the high level areas your audience is more discerning, you need to play really well on a top tier instrument with a buff they want and punters will throw you some gold. i want MORE in the music system. i want Artifact instruments (assuming they don't exist), i want a "band" system similar to the Company system. i want "battle of the bands" in New World, organized festivals where bands compete for prestige and prizes (not gold, the "busking" part will provide the gold as the competition progresses with the gold going towards a"voting system" instead of a buff. bands win special music gear eg Legendary/Artifact instruments, instrument skins, instead of gold.)

@Oryyyt basically the game is nothing different from what PC players already have. The only difference is that aeternum came with a lot of QoL and tweaks. What's important is are you having fun? This is what matters the most.

For those looking for the Quest in Brimstone Sands, go to the Warden's tent and talk to Yassh. I thought the Sands quest would auto-populate. I had to watch this video to see that little detail. It doesn't show up until you talk to Yassh. That starts the quest. Thank you BagginsTV because I'm not sure I would have found this.
As a newcomer to Aeternum, I'd love to see some videos about the mechanics of the expeditions, raids, wars, and invasions so I can jump right in and avoid beginner/newcomer mistakes in those pieces of content specifically. I'm having a blast exploring the world and playing solo, but I'd love to try out the group content and not slow down my group when I jump in. Thanks for the videos! Your content really helped me pull the trigger on buying this game and I have been hooked from minute one!
Literally no one cares. Just load into the expedition. Haven't seen one person who wasn't patient. They understand you're new they grind the same thing over and over they are use to carrying others.

Unfortunately from what i can see (im pretty new still) the best gear comes from the doubloons and then gorgons. Outpost rush seems to be another way cause of the chests you get but thats really it. I wish the faction legendary gear was actually 700gs and not 675....

Would love to see a solo player build recommendations/opinion vid. I know you touched on the weapons in your weapon vid, but getting your opinion on weapon combos and armors for open world skilling, farming, and PvP would be sweet, even if it’s just a short 5 minute run down.
When the developers make this stuff, how do they envision players put together 6-10 people for certain activities? Are they really making a game with the expectation that players will use another application to find players to play with (eg: Discord, etc)?! I hate when games house content behind these give player activities and then don't create methods for those players to meet. When I did 40-man raids in WoW, I had to use Twitch or Discord to find groups running certain raids. As of writing this, I don't have any clue how I'm supposed to find them for NW - and, I shouldn't have to leave the game to do it. Do developers really not understand that most players are reclusive introverts? By the nature of video games, we're each in our own room, not out meeting 6-10 people who are all ready and willing to play video games with us. How come I can't play the games I love and partake of ALL the content on offer without having to mic up and socialize? People like me usually never get to do the best content for the best gear simply because we aren't positioned emotionally to be able to join these events that require self-made groups!
Make your own company with like minded players. It will take trial and error but it's not hard to find 6-20 like minded players. Be active if you're in a company if you're in someone else's. I've learned there are tons of people that want to play but are scared if they haven't done the content before or they're not as good as other players. Just don't judge others and run content with them. In most cases you will learn the fights with each other and form bonds.

You should make a video on good weapon combos for new players, a lot of new players including myself don’t really know what weapons to run together for “optimal build crafting”
Depends on what you mean by optimal. I think all players should just play the weapons that suits their playstyle/personal pref But...Tanks and Heals (like all MMOs) are always needed a bit more than DPS. I love the Void Gaunlet, and I rotate in Life Staff or Ice Gauntlet depending on what I am doing. This way, I don't have to respec my stats. I can stay Int/Foc and merely swap out a gear set depending on if I am grouping or not. Tldr; play what you enjoy, you will get more mileage/value out of the game that way. That, to me, is "optimal"
I enjoy this so much more on a controller. I use my mouse in the menus, but combat is great on controller. Im having fun with this again, which is great!
can do faction pvp missions to raise pvp rank. doing the get info next to fort x are normally in and out pretty quick. not the fastest way but at low levels works

My warehouses are bursting with lower tier gems. How do I get rid of them? Salvage button doesn't work. Can I get rid of them in stone cutting? Are they sellable? All my warehouses are full. So I'm making storage chests to increase space too.

Hey, really loving this endgame guide, there are couple of things I did not even know about, like the housing totems. When they said that they are bringing in the Life staff artifacts I was super excited but then I learned that it drops from PVP track lvl 20+ and since I hate doing any PVP its a no go for me.
You do NOT need to be on the main story quest for Brimstone Sands to unlock the "Secrets of the Heartgem" sidequest. For me, it appeared when I was almost done with the quests in Great Cleave. And yes, I was lvl 65 before going to that zone.
They talk about no endgame and complain in some videos. I hear over a hour of endgame. It's insane if your new to the game. Way worth my money. I'm having fun. Xbox player
Unfortunately the mmo's community is very hard to please.. and even if you succeed is for a short time.. people will always find something to complain about.. but there are a lot of people who enjoy this game very much. So have fun and keep ignoring the complainers haha
The one thing you are going to do the most off at max level is looking back at the great experienced you had leveling up, exploring new zones, just having fun and enjoying the game. Now End game hit you in the face and ooh boy that is a whole different game. But hey, im not going to spoil that experience. you can experience it for your self :)
I've been having fun with PvP at max level, getting my life skills slowly to max so I can craft what I want to both use and sell and have attempted to fight the sandwurm (attempted 😂) I honestly believe that PC players needed to play other games instead of making the game their home and getting jaded .. when it stops being fun stop playing lol simple concept.
It’s a lot of content but what makes it fun is immersion!! Read some of the notes, don’t skip through the cutscenes and enjoy the ride ❤Knowing some of the lore of the game makes it more interesting.. but it will take more time. Your playing a game anyways so enjoy that time lol 😂

Did they get rid of the whole pushing up the watermark of your gear? I had a blast playing on launch bit hitting lvl 60 quickly turned into spend hours doing 100 man runs ignoring fights and opening chest after chest just to up the watermark rating on your various pieces of gear meticulously. That's about when I quit as I was falling asleep doing that.
What is this for a build? Your bow skills is grp pve but greatsword? You play medium or? Sry I’m new and 65 but I struggle on second weapon and spear is not so mine. I find greatsword nice 😂
Brimstone seems broken no quests. 62 at moment and angry earth says unlock by quest in Corsacant in brimstone but no quest. Any suggestions or is finishing MSQ mandatory? I finished ebonscale.

How do you get white and black dye in this game? I looking at the all color option and I’m not seeing the white dye that you have in one of your character here in this video.
If you play on a FS yeah, you have some more things to do. But if you try to play on Legacy servers there is basically 3h/week worth of "endgame" content.
@@xander24-7 So do those 3 hours on your former main character each week - and put focus on your new main fresh character because it is fun as hell and reminds of former glory launch days. Only that before when we did it, we did exactly this, 1 thing at a time, made it feel thin and no-content. Now everything is here, so it will definately be content this time.
You've been playing for days, wait until you hit the week, month and year mark, if you ever get there before you're bored. There's a month or two of content at most. Unless you really enjoy running chest runs with tons of bots.
Does anyone know how to get the faction quest "Trial of the Templar" to go from initate to Templar rank? I'm in the Covenant faction, level 32, 3,000 faction points capped because I need to go to the next rank but I can't find the quest for the trial anywhere and the quest indicator has me go to the Convenat enclave but no NPC is there that will give me the quest.
Damn. The glamour I want appears to only drop from Tempest at Mutation 3, which means I need to grind for essentially endgame gear before I can grind for the glamour? Did I read the database right? Can someone confirm the Isabella armor is only at the 695 level?
What can the Company do with the Company Payroll? Can they pay out the gold earned through taxes to their members? What else can the company do with the earned gold?

Guys i need help. I just reached 65 and played arenas. I know for sure that i'm bad but seriously, people destroy me with basic attacks. Are the fresh server players playing VS people Who IS full builds with perfect gear? How can i gear Up the fastest way yo enjoy arena?
Most experienced players know what gear to grab quickly for a boost early. Enchanted ward/health usually will let you stomp anyone who isnt geared properly. Making sure you are running the right attributes with food/buffs makes a huge difference also. But if you are playing on a new crossplay server there shouldnt be anyone fully kitted out yet.

I'm just vying to get to 45 so I can finally get my damn doggo as a mount😅 taking my time. It's refreshing to know that when at max lvl theres still MUCH to work for, even if it's just better gear to be a better asset for your groups. Lovin it so far. Currently rocking LS and VG but I'm disliking having to equip the blade every time or it disables randomly in combat which has almost gotten me killed a few times. Anyone recommend a 2nd weapon? Rapier and spear feel good, but so does everything lol
The game itself is great... It's a fact. But!! It can be over very quickly. A couple of hours between 60-80 you have all the basic stuff maxed out. Now the reboot is working quite well but in the long run the endgame will not be able to keep that player base. I'm not trying to be negative, just experience speaks for itself. I think in about 2-3 months the active player base will drop below 10 000 again... I say this with nearly 900 hours in the game. Hoping the best for New World!
This game doesn’t get boring for me. This new servers I got rich off bags. You can then focus on other things in the game. After I hit level 64 I focused on maxing trade skill and made soo much money that I can just save time and buy off the trade shop.

Hey, really loving this endgame guide, there are couple of things I did not even know about, like the housing totems. When they said that they are bringing in the Life staff artifacts I was super excited but then I learned that it drops from PVP track lvl 20+ and since I hate doing any PVP its a no go for me.
You do NOT need to be on the main story quest for Brimstone Sands to unlock the "Secrets of the Heartgem" sidequest. For me, it appeared when I was almost done with the quests in Great Cleave. And yes, I was lvl 65 before going to that zone.

The one thing you are going to do the most off at max level is looking back at the great experienced you had leveling up, exploring new zones, just having fun and enjoying the game. Now End game hit you in the face and ooh boy that is a whole different game.

I've been having fun with PvP at max level, getting my life skills slowly to max so I can craft what I want to both use and sell and have attempted to fight the sandwurm (attempted 😂) I honestly believe that PC players needed to play other games instead of making the game their home and getting jaded .. when it stops being fun stop playing lol simple concept.
leveling was so exhausting i prefer farming and doing end game activities rathen than leveling for 20-30 hours xd

refreshing move was nerfed very much but yes they stack
RM used to be able to proc multiple times per hit if you hit with aoe. Now there is a internal cooldown of 1 second iirc
Seems like getting the right stats on goldcursed gear will be extremely difficult. Or maybe there is an upgrade process I am missing.

It’s a lot of content but what makes it fun is immersion!! Read some of the notes, don’t skip through the cutscenes and enjoy the ride ❤Knowing some of the lore of the game makes it more interesting.. but it will take more time. Your playing a game anyways so enjoy that time lol 😂

Did they get rid of the whole pushing up the watermark of your gear? I had a blast playing on launch bit hitting lvl 60 quickly turned into spend hours doing 100 man runs ignoring fights and opening chest after chest just to up the watermark rating on your various pieces of gear meticulously. That's about when I quit as I was falling asleep doing that.
Yeah there is no watermark system anymore. You hit 65 you can start getting 700 gearscore gear to drop

White you buy from the in game store its called sterling silver. There is no black dye, closest you can get is a darkish grey

If you play on a FS yeah, you have some more things to do. But if you try to play on Legacy servers there is basically 3h/week worth of "endgame" content.

@@xander24-7 So do those 3 hours on your former main character each week - and put focus on your new main fresh character because it is fun as hell and reminds of former glory launch days. Only that before when we did it, we did exactly this, 1 thing at a time, made it feel thin and no-content. Now everything is here, so it will definately be content this time.

You've been playing for days, wait until you hit the week, month and year mark, if you ever get there before you're bored. There's a month or two of content at most. Unless you really enjoy running chest runs with tons of bots.

Does anyone know how to get the faction quest "Trial of the Templar" to go from initate to Templar rank? I'm in the Covenant faction, level 32, 3,000 faction points capped because I need to go to the next rank but I can't find the quest for the trial anywhere and the quest indicator has me go to the Convenat enclave but no NPC is there that will give me the quest.

Damn. The glamour I want appears to only drop from Tempest at Mutation 3, which means I need to grind for essentially endgame gear before I can grind for the glamour? Did I read the database right? Can someone confirm the Isabella armor is only at the 695 level?
Im pretty sure you can get it in any level of mutation
I don't find anything searching glamour on NWDB 😅 except some mobs
If it's "Isabella's Breastplate" you can also craft it with 700gs using 3,500 dense mutator materia

Guys i need help. I just reached 65 and played arenas. I know for sure that i'm bad but seriously, people destroy me with basic attacks. Are the fresh server players playing VS people Who IS full builds with perfect gear? How can i gear Up the fastest way yo enjoy arena?
Most experienced players know what gear to grab quickly for a boost early. Enchanted ward/health usually will let you stomp anyone who isnt geared properly. Making sure you are running the right attributes with food/buffs makes a huge difference also. But if you are playing on a new crossplay server there shouldnt be anyone fully kitted out yet.

I'm just vying to get to 45 so I can finally get my damn doggo as a mount😅 taking my time. It's refreshing to know that when at max lvl theres still MUCH to work for, even if it's just better gear to be a better asset for your groups. Lovin it so far. Currently rocking LS and VG but I'm disliking having to equip the blade every time or it disables randomly in combat which has almost gotten me killed a few times. Anyone recommend a 2nd weapon? Rapier and spear feel good, but so does everything lol
is all of the xp earned after hitting max level banked and applied if a future update increases the max level?
The game itself is great... It's a fact. But!! It can be over very quickly. A couple of hours between 60-80 you have all the basic stuff maxed out.
Now the reboot is working quite well but in the long run the endgame will not be able to keep that player base. I'm not trying to be negative, just experience speaks for itself. I think in about 2-3 months the active player base will drop below 10 000 again... I say this with nearly 900 hours in the game.

This game doesn’t get boring for me. This new servers I got rich off bags. You can then focus on other things in the game. After I hit level 64 I focused on maxing trade skill and made soo much money that I can just save time and buy off the trade shop.
How do you get rich off bags, when just making them is already expensive ?
