EXCELLENT GUIDE, ONLY PROBLEM IS YO MIGHT CONSIDER IN THE FUTRE DROPPING OR MAKING SMALLER THE VIDEO OF YU TALKING IN THE LOWER RIGHT CORNER BECAUSE YOU COVER UP A LOT OT DATA, BUT VERY NICELY DONE THANKS
I know this is 3 years later but I found this vid to be so good when rolling my lock back at Classic launch and still helps me with my alts in Era. Thanks to you and the crew of locks that developed this comprehensive guide!
The amount of info in this video if you're a warlock is astounding, thanks for taking the time to make this Kargoz, helped me a lot as someone rolling a lock for the first time.
5 years later at the start of classic fresh. Thank you for the work you put into these guides man. Im still coming back for more and ysing your guides to better myself at classic. Despite whatever drama you were involved in, youve always been a creator that cares about his content and ive always loved that about you. Thanks again man, cheers!
Wow man! This video was impressive as hell. It made a big impact for me and my leveling outlook and I really appreciate it. The time and effort you put into this guide was out of this world. I know some people really enjoy the service, as you said, and get an artistic kick out of the research and collation of this kind of data. Regardless of where it stems, this was an impressive accomplishment and a boon for everyone out there. Amazing work and your dedication is both recognized and appreciated. I've never seen any of your work before but a friend advised me to take a look and I'm glad I did. Big shout out to the folks who helped make this happen for you. Take it easy man, cheers!
Really an ultimate leveling guide for locks. Appreciate the time and effort that went into this ^^ Thanks for the shoutout, everything you do for the community, and being a chill dude about it all.
Thank you so much for this. Used your guides for 2019, SoM and now fresh classic as I'm rolling Warlock. Great stuff, really appreciate all the work put into these presentations.
For real tho. Dudes too hard on himself. I played lock back in the day but there's a breadth of helpful tips and info here that I was never aware of until seeing this video.
This is an absolutely incredible guide, I can't believe it took me this long to find it! Amazing production quality and information. Only 20 minutes in, but I'm looking forward to watching the rest, and grinding the next 30 levels with some top tier nahledge.
Vanilla Warlock here. so hyped to go back and re level my toon, warlocks were a underrated class back in O.G hope to see more nonsense and chaos around gg leveling!
Kargoz, I just want to say that I love your videos. I often listen to them when drivning home from work, and I get so nostalgic and excited. I am still playing era on EU Firemaw cluster, which is alive and kicking. We are two guilds on alliance side who clear every raid from MC and ZG to AQ40 and Naxx every week (similar stuff is going on for the horde). A lot of people are coming in from SOM and TBC, and there are many alts, so we are able to pop 3x full world buffs every week, and have been doing so for a very long time now. We also do ranked pvp and multiple people are getting their Rank 14 by using poolboosting. I got Rank 12 on my Hunter for the gloves and is nearly BIS. This is the best game ever! -Nuxthalia from Denmark
I've been really into Classic since Anniversary, and I've watched all of your guides (some more than once!). Thanks for all of these. Looking forward to seeing the others I missed. I'm currently trying a solo Destruction build.
Small addendum to "Resource Control" section: Due to the life tap mechanic class is built on, most warlocks will carrry 2 sets of food with them; one for the Well Fed buff for that extra stamina and other most likely fish for ooc regen, plus Bandages, no water. I've found through extensive testing that Bandages plus Well Fed food is the way to go. Just carry your stack of porkchops with a few stacks of bandages and you're set. Lvl appropriate food takes 30 secs to regen 80-90% of your total health. Bandages on the other hand take 8 secs to overkill your healthbar(depends on bandage). This severely cuts your downtime and is bagspace efficient, which is something to consider as a warlock. One more thing, bandages can be used in combat as long as you dont take hits. So fear/seducce and regen to full health in the middle of a fight! You can even do this in pvp! You can use bandages as an emergency heal also; if you pop a bandage right after a mob's AA you can get 1-3 ticks off of healing, depending on mobs attack speed. Hope this helps.
I am leveling and stacking the hell out of hp regeneration with food and potions.. and bandages. It's pretty nice with with life tap talent.. i barely stop to drink
He didnt mention that because it sounds better in theory than it is in reality. I LIterally never carried Stam food.. what is +20 stam gonna do for you when you lifetap for more hp than that.. you may occasionally be able to get off one more lifetap than you normally would... but why lifetap to near 0 hp except in emergency.. thats just asking for death. Stam food is not worth the cost imo. If you're able to cook food with stat buffs, sell it... the gold will help you way more. Literally ANY level appropriate food plus bandages is fine.
Water+food gives double speed on resources regen. Just tap enough to balance the difference. No need for the small bits, more time spend on buying/cooking than benefit.
I work in corporate and I want to say this is even better than any sponsorship proposal that I have evern seen. You will definitely be very very successful.
After grinding a priest to 50s and getting utterly burnt out on how arduous solo leveling is (and the lack of demand for healers on my server) I rolled a lock and got to level 20 in one day. Can't wait to max out I'm having loads of fun. Thanks for the guide!
Nicely done :D I never played a warlock in vanilla. Started out as a Paladin...didnt make it far lol I think I made it to level 15 or so and then switched to mage. Didnt make it past 45 before TBC. Made it to 65 when Wrath came out. Wrath was the first time I maxed out a character...did it as a druid lol eventually got my mage to 80. Still, I always like watching guides. Never know when the info might come in handy :D
Leveling a warlock for BC now. Been watching a few of your videos but this one was just so damn good I couldn't not press subscribe. Thanks for all the time and effort.
Very impressive guide! The amount of detail and knowledge is insane. You are my go to for WoW guides. Your love for Locks and this game shines brightly throughout this vid, you're a 5 Star @Kargoz! Thank you!
So great...this guide was awesome no need to down yourself ..its a 2hr video ..you made a movie bro ..awesome..awesome guide ...i played lock in vanilla and im currently at lvl18 now ..been following you from retail for the hunter vids ..keep up the great work
Sick guide dude! Picked up a few great tips from this. One thing I will say though Chillnail Splinter is technically soloable at 40. I did it on beta. You need 5/5 suppression and 4/4 imp CoE and you will die if you get 2 back to back resists on CoE. Kite him around the big wagon with CoE and if you jump over boxes and carts in the right way it messes up his pathing and gives you breathing room to handle a resist. Only corruption and siphon life for dps never stop running. Takes a long time though, probably not worth... but it was fun to do.
great info man!! old school lock where, coming back..and these are invaluable..thx to you and all the pro locks out there helping out us plebs trying to climb the lock ranks!! lok'tar ogar!!
After your other pre-official release guides, I came here to watch this newest video and after ten minutes of you trying to persuade me to play warlock and then realizing this presentation is two hours long... I think I'm going to go watch an earlier version or just refer to the presentation, which I don't want to do. I like hearing what you have to say and the information you're imparting on top of what's in the presentation but I was hoping to start playing right now and I'm not too keen on sitting through two hours for a pve, alt, unfortunately. I do love your guides but I personally preferred the much more straight forward style of your previous guides. Keep it going man, I'm sure you'll find the perfect balance somewhere. I trust your guides because you're the only one who gathers information from the community rather then just your own opinion and I think that's awesome.
Awesome content man. I can see you put a lot of work into your video’s! I mained a Hunter since 2006, but I’m also going Warlock this time around. What an enjoyable class to play man.
Dang it I miss classic vanilla. Nostalgia hits when I go back to these videos. Def and Mel, Dunedain, kargoz for the gma pods. Running up to release. Beta streams. This game hits home for me.
You can use curse of recklessness if the enemy healpriest is mindcontrolling your meele to make them immune to the fear once they get back on target and buff their potential to burst that heal down
Can you make a video on useful warlock macros using the coding for this client - useful pvp ones, engineering gadgets, advanced pet commands (focus target), etc
You helped me solve my class crisis with this, have been planning to go hunter for months now but now I know how much utility locks have I’ve made my choice😀😀
48:07 When you're talking about health funnel, you say it interrupts the 5 second rule. It doesn't. Just like life tap, since it costs health to cast and not mana your mana regen continues.
Ready to start! Kinda unsure how to feel since I'll be playing alliance for the first time. Joining a few friends who used to be horde but their guild moved to alliance. Now I kinda feel like a traitor, once horde, always horde. I'll just have to join a second server for solo play I guess. Thanks for the videos man!
At work and just finished listening to my 2nd playthrough of this. So much shit to take in. But, I saved to my playlist and will definitely refer back to this. Very information heavy guide. Great work 👍
About the curse of Recklessness... in classic tbc I found that Recklessness makes mobs immune to fear, but it doesn't remove the fear debuff, so if you switch from Recklessness to Elements or another curse, the mob will run in fear again if the fear debuff is still on it.
kind of disappointed that i didnt watch your videos before i started my first priest when you said dwarf is the only real option haha. i chose night elf and didnt think twice and i wish i didnt do that. but im glad i found you for the warlock. Thanks!
Nice guide! Planning to drain tank as well. Just wondering if Felhunter might be better overall. It does almost as much damage as Succubus and is much more durable. I believe Felhunter has better mana regen too for more DP usage. Thanks for this. Very useful.
I mean I've worked in a lot of professional environments some of the best in the military and its scary how good you are with you Intel presentation. Hats off to you good sir
We talking about the US military here? Lmao, man.. I'm in the Navy and I gotta say that the presentations I see, at least for our branch, are horrid. The best one I've seen was probably one regarding how to properly deep fry a Turkey.
154 Slide Presentation. You put so much work into this bro much respect ❤
After whole life playing hunter I wanted something new and I went for warlock for wow classic 20th anniversary. This guide helped me a lot. Thank you!
Glad I could help!
Yeah I also got back into the game after living the rogue life, and now Im loving the warlock grind
No ads, no useless bs, covered everything, no annoying, definetely a 10/10 guide great job!
Great guide thanks. That closing comment, “I feel I might have over promised and under delivered”, is insane. You definitely delivered.
I know this is 3 years later but I found this vid to be so good when rolling my lock back at Classic launch and still helps me with my alts in Era. Thanks to you and the crew of locks that developed this comprehensive guide!
Same man, cool guide
The amount of info in this video if you're a warlock is astounding, thanks for taking the time to make this Kargoz, helped me a lot as someone rolling a lock for the first time.

@@kargozgaming same here. Also using it now with classic fresh. first time warlock. Thanks for all the hard work!

"Think I may have underdelivered here" Man this is prob the best guide I've ever seen
For real tho. Dudes too hard on himself. I played lock back in the day but there's a breadth of helpful tips and info here that I was never aware of until seeing this video.
Preach!
Not even limited to WoW domain, just best guide ever on ever topic
This is an absolutely incredible guide, I can't believe it took me this long to find it! Amazing production quality and information. Only 20 minutes in, but I'm looking forward to watching the rest, and grinding the next 30 levels with some top tier nahledge.
Vanilla Warlock here. so hyped to go back and re level my toon, warlocks were a underrated class back in O.G hope to see more nonsense and chaos around gg leveling!
underrated lmao BIS class in pvp and pve endgame
it will probably be as popular as mage this time around
Kargoz, I just want to say that I love your videos. I often listen to them when drivning home from work, and I get so nostalgic and excited.

Greetings from the Horde Side of Firemaw. Servers still alive and kicking. Classic really never dies.
I've been really into Classic since Anniversary, and I've watched all of your guides (some more than once!). Thanks for all of these. Looking forward to seeing the others I missed. I'm currently trying a solo Destruction build.
Awesome! Let me know how the Destruction build goes!
One of the best warlock guides I have seen!!! Great job to all who helped put this together.

Glad you liked it!

i’m a complete noob and this guide has taught me a lot, thanks for keeping it super simple for new players to jump in
Bro, MAD love for this video. You went hard in the paint with this. I really do appreciate it man, keep it up!
So humble in the beginning. I just couldn't go on with the video without leaving a like
grinding feels so much better when listening to such a good content, thanks
Thank you - This is by far the Best and most in-depth Guide I have seen! Thank you again fellow Lock - Love it!
After grinding a priest to 50s and getting utterly burnt out on how arduous solo leveling is (and the lack of demand for healers on my server) I rolled a lock and got to level 20 in one day. Can't wait to max out I'm having loads of fun. Thanks for the guide!
These 2h videos are pure Army briefing and it speaks to me. Great guide
Seriously the best and most in depth warlock guide on TH-cam, and I've seen them all. Thanks.
Impressive work. Just a bit unfortunate we couldn't read some of the tables due to your mug being in the way ;)
new to lock, this guide helps a hell of a lot, thanks so much for the effort put in and defiantly not undelivered.
Do you still play lock ?
Nicely done :D I never played a warlock in vanilla. Started out as a Paladin...didnt make it far lol I think I made it to level 15 or so and then switched to mage. Didnt make it past 45 before TBC. Two whole hours and not one breath is taken! Good Vid man

New to warlock, rarely ever played casters but I’ve died so many times on HC I had to change it up. This was incredible!
thanks to this video two hours less to wait for Classic Wow. I had a great time. many thanks
As a new player you made it very engaging and im excited to learn!
Ton of work went into this. Hats off.

As a fellow lefty really appreciate the key binding advice with the mouse. Not everyone gets playing left handed.
Best classic warlock guide you can find...thank you very much for this gift Kargoz 👌🏻 10/10
I’m coming back to classic from a long long time ago and this simply fantastic learned some new stuff. Thanks for your hard work
Great guide bro. Really nice refresher for people like me who haven’t played in years.
You can use curse of recklessness if the enemy healpriest is mindcontrolling your meele to make them immune to the fear once they get back on target and buff their potential to burst that heal down
Spood.
I love this guide man. You have definitely gained a sub. Very great guide I love the effort put forth into this!
Amazing work man, dont doubt ur work. This helped me in a massive way! You are for sure my go to lock guru for now on. Loktar!
Welcome back Kargoz
The level of enthusiasm this dude had for classic I wish I had for anything in life..
Love your videos man. Super knowledgeable, LOVED the part about fear and recklessness. Youre dope thanks for all the information and help leveling
Honestly, I've never seen a guide as good as this. Amazing Kargoz.
The 321 dislikes are Paladins
Someone disliked this?!??
Thank you so much man! Watched this right before bed, going to sleep dreaming of classic. When I wake up it's going to be that time!!
Can you make a video on useful warlock macros using the coding for this client - useful pvp ones, engineering gadgets, advanced pet commands (focus target), etc
Im glad you are back brother. Your passion is inspiring :)
You helped me solve my class crisis with this, have been planning to go hunter for months now but now I know how much utility locks have I’ve made my choice😀😀

This is my warlock leveling bible, thanks dude!
top down best warlock guide. talked the real shit i was wondering
Great content bro, I've been leveling a warlock for couple days so this is really good
So has everyone that watches this 🖕🏻
Nolan you’re a moron.
I love this 2 hour ride of warlocky goodness. ❤ you really know how to pitch a class. 👌
Man the leveling rotation at 30 is so fun
Summon yourself>hs>repair>take the summon< very useful when bags are full
Did you quit playing or something happen man? Was really bummed to see you haven’t streamed or released anything new much at all since release
I hope you enjoyed alliance. Duskwood alone is worth playing through the alliance at least once.
This guide was perfection man you nailed it. Helped me so much.
Thank you for this amazing video Kargoz, as always! Hugs from Denmark 🇩🇰
At work and just finished listening to my 2nd playthrough of this. So much shit to take in. But, I saved to my playlist and will definitely refer back to this. Very information heavy guide. Great work 👍

Really appreciate the work that must have gone into this. Thanks a lot!
I've used Titan Bar since Vanilla and was pleasantly surprised to find a mana and health regen tracker plugin on there for Classic w00t
Wow so big work !!! Thank you . Watched all 2h7min.
Great video! Thank you for taking the time to do this. Much appreciated.
had to take you off of fullscreen to like the video in first 10 mins, thanks for info...im gonna carry on now
Spicy. Feels good/bad man. Oh mylanta. You are a living meme reference. Outstanding guide, I learned a lot from this and your other videos.
Okay. Looks like I found class I want to play in new classic. Thanks for guide
Glad I could help!
1:17:22 was a big part of what i was looking for. Great guide overall though, thank you.
In the words of Dive himself. "If we can fear it, we can kill it."
Scroom120 best advice aha
Great refresher for me. Love your content! Off to drain tank
Awesome to hear, enjoy!
kind of disappointed that i didnt watch your videos before i started my first priest when you said dwarf is the only real option haha. i chose night elf and didnt think twice and i wish i didnt do that. but im glad i found you for the warlock. Thanks!
Don't forget, increased shadow damage also increases the dps of your pets!
Rolling warlock for classic classic and this is a gold mine!
Used to Main a lock retail, made a rogue for classic but man.. it’s time to reroll lol! Thanks!
Have to give props. Comprehensive and well explained guide. Subbed.
Nice guide! Planning to drain tank as well. Just wondering if Felhunter might be better overall. It does almost as much damage as Succubus and is much more durable. I believe Felhunter has better mana regen too for more DP usage. Thanks for this. Very useful.
Very handy guide as always. A teacher with passion! This guy thought of everything. Except centering that camera... keep leaning out of frame.
What is the "CoE + Dark Pact infinite value loop" you mentioned at 1:22:43?
curse of elements gives dark pact more effect so u get more value from the dark pact if u coe ur minion.
