I made this yesterday. Swapped the sugar with 1/2 cup honey. So moist and delicious! Best sponge cake without egg. Had to bake for 30 min though. Thanks ❤❤❤

Trying this now, with a persimmon base/top for an upside down cake ! Using plain flour and vanilla powder. ONE tin . 180C with fan. The batter seemed 'drier' than yours, but I have faith. Now I'm waiting 24 mins before I check the baking. I just checked, adding another 12 mins with FOIL on top (to prevent burning - looks LOVELY and GOLDEN on top) because the batter is still 'wet' underneath. Can't wait !!! Smells GREAT ! BUT it WASN'T coocked all the way at the bottom of the sponge - I discovered this AFTER cutting into it, SO I placed it back into the oven at 150C for 18 mins.....BACK in for another 20 mins ! :( So I just grabbed it out and scoffed most of it, even if there was a little undercooked in the middle. Next time I shall use a wider, more shallow pan - should turn out nice. Otherwise, this one tasted NICE!

Priyanka Sadhukhan - Hare krsna. For baking you have to use yogurt or condensed milk. You can’t use both. So every recipe is different. This recipe that I have shown uses curd. Please follow it exactly to get same results.
What was your temperature? You can keep it 170-180 degrees. Also it could be that your cake was too high and very near the rod. Pls avoid that. The cake should be in the Center of the even.

Yea you can make the batter in one tin. Make sure you add wet ingredients and then fry ingredients. You can use 6inch or 7inch cake tin.

You have to turn on both of them to bake the cake evenly.
I tried it by heating both the rods but my cake burnt

I kept it in the center and firstly I prefer heated the oven on 180 degrees for 15 min and then I baked it at 150 degrees with both the rods on
