Been looking for an eggless cake recipe for ages as my daughter has an egg allergy. Tried this recipe as cupcakes and baked perfectly, couldn’t even tell it was eggless! Loved by everyone who tasted it. Kept the same measurements, etc, baked for 15 minutes and made 20 cupcakes. Would highly recommend this recipe!! ❤
Love this recipe. Just yesterday, I made cupcakes out of it. Instead of vanilla, I infused lavender in milk and made cupcakes. Once cooled, I made little pokes and pored lavender milk in the cupcakes to keep it moist. I used store bought cream cheese frosting and added lemon juice and used it for frosting. Tastes awesome!!!! I made this yesterday and it came out great. Thank you so much! I would reduce the sugar to 3/4 of a cup of you prefer less sweetness. It was a little sweet for me otherwise a great great recipe.
just made this cake and it is so good...the crumb is so soft and pillowy..the top is a little crisp..one of the best tea cakes..ps i added the milk+butter mixture after it had cooled to room temperature..i had this doubt while making the cake..

I tried this cake.. sushma. I only felt that the butter was a little much . As when I held in my hand I could feel butter. So can we decrease the butter.

Hi Sushma ..This cake calls for butter,...will this cake harden if cooled in the fridge with a whipped cream frosting? Also since u are using curds, will it taste sour if i bake the cake in advance, say a day or two prior to frosting? Planning to make your super pineapple cake using this as base.
