    Please, do not buy the 100 oz, they are difficult to resell, buy the 1 kilo at most, 10z or 5oz are more recommended. Why do I say this? Well, when you finally decide to sell your silver, you will want to sell it to individuals to get a better deal than in stores, and individuals are not normally interested in such large pieces. Also, if you have it in small pieces you don't have to sell everything at once.

      👏 agreed!👏...also, when trying to sell a 100oz (or larger) bar, they often need to drill into it to ensure its solid silver. At the moment, dealers are offering below 👇 spot for their bars. Finally, they are quite heavy and take up lots of space vs. the equivalent value in gold.

      And bigger the bar they would have to test it cos any other metal could be deep inside it so they would have to drill deep into it and melt down the shaving then test the shaving to see if it is 100% or it could be just a steel covered bar that’s why it would be harder to sell as well

      @@AurumAura31103 Hello, Not sure why they would need to drill down into a bar 🤔 but you can always go to a trusted precious metals dealer. They will use an XRF machine to test the bar ( silver or gold) without damage! hope this helps 😄

    Nice change of topic discussing silver bullion! I really like 1 kg bars (Nordic Mint in North Dakota is my favorite style/brand). However, it starts to add-up to a ton of weight compared to the same value in gold. So gold is king. Silver is queen. If you can afford stacking 1 oz gold coins, it should be the top priority, because you might not want to haul around 300 lbs of silver when you could put 3 lbs of gold in your pockets, instead.

    • @MartinD9999
      @MartinD9999 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’d recommend fractional gold instead. Easier to use if the need arises. Good luck finding someone to break a $2k gold ounce coin in hard times!

      @yefunehdavid1005 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MartinD9999 Yes, indeed, especially in an apocalypse, but only a reasonable portion is best. Expensive things will still cost big gold. But, I'm talking about moving your entire savings account, 401(k), IRA, etc into gold prior to the collapse of our financial system. And paying high premiums on a whole bunch of fractional bullion is not the most wise choice. But it's all going to be much better than "fractional" fiat paper, fiat coins, and fiat digits.

      @@RobCantonJr the only reason that ratio exists is because silver used to be legally pegged to gold prices. They stopped that a long time ago and ever since silver settled in. There is no ratio anymore. Anyone who tells you there is, is wrong. Well there’s an arbitrary ratio that means nothing. Silver has different recycling rates, it’s easier to mine, we have exponentially more silver available than gold etc. I’m not saying silver won’t rise, I’m saying investors need to stop tying it to gold. $936 for a kilo of silver?? Spot price on silver was around $735 at that time, so they charge $200 premium on $750 bucks. That's insane. That's over $29 an ounce lol.
    So, buying in bulk saves you money how exactly?
