I have no idea which movie won Oscar last year... "Loving Vincent" will stand out forever.
witkocaster it was Spiderman into the spider verse, it was the best marvel animated film. But coco won over loving Vincent, which still ticks me off.

This movie deserves the award because of few reasons: the uniqueness of how the film done, the truly artistic work n a bridge between fine art to a movie, and a great tribute to a great and distinct artist... Van gogh himself!
It's the most beautiful, deeply moving film, I have been lucky enough to see. Sheer beauty. My fav artist. This shows such depth in emotion, the artwork is astonishing. Incredibly magnificent effort. Thankyou.

I've read that they're planning on making another movie. It will be painted just like the one about Van Gogh was. This time it will be about a Polish book "Chłopi" (The Peasants) by Władysław Reymont. They say it will be released in 2022. th-cam.com/video/pABRhQpaOTI/w-d-xo.html
Interesting thought however, as an artist, I sat and studied his life, his art, over and over until it soaked up into my spirit. I now do original paintings in his style, some have called me the Modern Van Gogh. I continually paint his way. I understand him in a way like no other has. His struggles, his pain have been a part ofy existence as well. I will probably never have my artwork acknowledged in my lifetime. That is fine. And yes, I'm just as prolific as he was.
