Lawrence Stroll used to run his 512 BB often on his track, Le Circuit in Quebec. You could hear the flat 12 from miles away, it echoed in the Mountains. Whenever I heard any of his Ferraris running, I'd drive up to the fence at the paddock gate, just sit & enjoy...Since taking over Aston Martin, Lawrence has sold Le Circuit...he has quite the collection of Ferraris...250GTO, 512M, Testa Rosa, 330 P4 to name a few.
He recently bought this car, they also race an M1 Procar, Zakspeed Capri, Daytona Cobra, E Type Lightweight, Capri RS3100, T70 MK3B, and thats not mentioning there rally collection 😂
Hard to believe, this will soon be a thing of the past😢😢😢 Just the faint whoosh, of an electric version is what we will have to live with. Btw, love this driver’s heel & toe technique; these guys could drive back then
Exactly my man! 12 glorious trumpeting cylinders with an orgasmic growl pulling out of the corners .... ....to much is just about right there where you want it, you can always turn it down if needed ....
Are they as much work to drive as many on-board vids seem to suggest? From the driver inputs, the gear box and under/oversteer it looks anything but very driver friendly.
Different times, you’re right. But todays drivers are not without skill either; top drivers in GT3; GTE & of course open tops are incredibly talented & skilled, or they wouldn’t be, where they are🤷🏼♂️
My goodness, a car with a manual gearbox, the driver who had to do heel-toe and a steering wheel without buttons. How indecent... Artificial intelligence for F1 and & C is coming today. HA HA HA
The sound of those 12 Italian cylinders 😍

Why so? Pink head is quite funny ^^ @@soncinr
Rich people problems.
old racing cars were legends and it will be forever just like ferrari 512 bb lm.
I was pushing 30 when this car came out. Seeing and hearing this makes me want to live forever.
Did you go to the track to enjoy cars like these?
What a glorious sound!
Magnificent sound... atrocious shifting. Hopefully his first time in the car as he did hold the last corner drift

..needs to practice to “heel ‘n toe”, oh dear!
I love these old school flat 12s so much
That looks a right handful! Great view of his feet dancing over them pedals though.
I would never change this fantastic loud scream for the sound of modern cars
This is pure therapy for the ears
That thing looks like a lot of work!! The sound MUAH!
The self-centring rearview mirror (out of the last corner at the end) is a neat feature!
Holy cow that thing looks like a workout to drive
Nice save there at the end.
Modern cars just can't give you this raw super-gokart experience.
Wonderful simphony 🔊 🎼🎵🎶
dude is heel n toeing before engaging the gear haha
Just like my bike when the clutch cable went, if you don’t blip it the thing won’t shift (it, ah, I ruined the rhyme)
シフトチェンジがいいエンジンミッションの音に惚れぼれします最高です🎉

I am wearing headphones and all I hear is heaven
Thanks for the headphones warning, it let me turn it up before the action really started.

Headphone users beware to turn up the volume 🔥🔥🔥
Nothing like old sounding Ferrari v12 just amazing really thing of beauty
"Headphone users beware" Beware? Beware of what? That flat 12 sounds glorious!
Fantastic driving
Symphony to my ears
Why are my eyes watering because of the sound??
6 minutes of pure power
Love it, true motor racing
He was holding back a little!!
Astonishing
It’s a symphony!
Mannn...you would not want to crash in that at Eau Rouge
This car deserves a better driver!
My eyes watered up☺️
EVs are going to be awesome arent they. (Read with a heavy sprinkling of sarcasm) 😊
At least we know who the losers will be, cool people will still drive & race gas cars. haha
@@3UZFEJust convert the ICEs to run on hydrogen or e-fuels and done, vroom vroom noises in post 2035!

It takes real skill to drive without touching the edges!
That is sweet!
Those downshifts at 0:55 are heavenly and are a testament to the skill required to drive this beast
amazing, imagine how quick it'd be with a clutchless auto
Been in one of these. May have been this one if it has the handpainted 3M livery
Are they as much work to drive as many on-board vids seem to suggest? From the driver inputs, the gear box and under/oversteer it looks anything but very driver friendly.
If I was to make a Speed Racer movie, I'd have the Mach 5 sound like a BMW M1 Procar and the Shooting Star (Racer X's car) sound like this.
Badass!
My new workout soundtrack
Spetacular punta taco in down shift.
Monster.
Magnificent! These cars were brutal and driving them takes a lot more skill then today's robocars.

great
YAHOOOOO!!!!!
❤️❤️❤️
Great sound from that flat 12, but the downshifting is just… terrible.
this is an opera singer
Wow. He really is driving it like he stole it.
Paradiso…❤❤❤
No sweeter cocopheny than the fabled flat twelve. Sadly lost to time…”like tears in rain.”
Best part was turning the volume up as a headphone user what?
nice
DReam machine!!
I want to see the grin on his face
Seems like the transmission isn't the most cooperative.
😍👍
Someone please teach this man how to throttle blip...

1969-1979 FERRARI 512 BBI WITH NO NOTING VERY MUTCH DOWNFOCRE WITH ALL 4 WHEELS ON THE GROUND ZERO LIFT
Beware? More like "Wear headphones"
Driving this car looks like a hard rodeo
Magnificent sound, questionable reliability, and a very noticeable lack of torque to pull it out of the corners. Sounds great tho! 😂
🎶🤩👌
love the noise and the video but my lawnmower has a better gearchange surely.....
🏎️ First 🏁
Score 👍
Something about this guy's driving is so oddly unsatisfying.
Yeah, his heel & toe shifts are wack.
@@Gentleman...Driver not to mention how he moves his hands around on the steering wheel. Because of that, he almost lost it there, at 5:49.
The take zero risks with a car that expensive

Porch Wagon
The changes seem delayed and the driver seems tentative, making ground through brute power then giving it away.
Not flat thru Eau Rouge is a fail.
because the car can't and the track didn't looked dry
Unwatchable due to terrible driving skills
Sounds like #9 cylinder is off.
game or real ?
Anyone know what was the car in front of him?
This car deserves a better driver!
