I'm glad all these cars are still driven and are not just sitting in a museum so kids (like me) can see what amazing cars we had in the past it's just so different for the better
These are half century old vehicles and they are driven as if spare parts were sitting at every FIAT dealership! Unbelievable! Great footage, Bozzy - as always!
It was 1982 and I stood at the Dunlop Bridge watching and listening to the cars at full chat, then lifting off for the Esses. All the turbo cars had that flat blare and flames on the over-run. Then this red beast howled by and blue flames like a propane torch's fired like a machine gun from the exhausts on lift-off. It was a 512 BB, not very fast, but aurally exciting. The Group 44 Jag sounded good, as did the Nimrod but the 956s were definitely not ear-candy. Heady days.
I have read for sure in an Italian Classic car magazine that some of these BB"s are tightly fitted with the first gen F430 braking system all around and being 500 lbs lighter...!!
If the first Boxer shown, the European University car, was owned by Ed and Leslie Davies in the 1990s, I've had the pleasure of riding in it during a FCA track weekend at Sebring!
Say what!? This just appeared into my suggestion. Hooray! Real cars, real history...plus Monza if im not mistaken Cheers edit lol, it just switch too Paul Ricard.
If they had made that with a proper transaxle it would have had more of a chance in competition. I understand the constraints but Detamaso managed it with the Pantera.

0:32 That could use a bigger gas pedal.
the flat 12s sound is like a mechanical rhinocerous came round the bend and growled at you.

Yes it is
@@williamrainbow4115 IMSA GTX, like a Gr5.
100% pure car porn…all race cars should be required to sound this good!!! 🏎💨💨💨💨
Well, it DID Win it's Class at LeMans, (So I've Heard..)
This thing is fking sick
More than you can afford pal, ferrari
Why do they leave stickers on new tires! It's a slip point.. I always remove them before mounting.
They wear off half way through the out lap. There is no need tbf
Oh how much would I pay for Ferrari to make one more Flat 12
I’d daily drive this thing to work in the morning it’ll get more action on the streets than that race track could ever provide
Great
Fuckin Amazing!!!
