I changed the recipe a bit, I changed the ground pork with chicken slices and I sadly didn't have mushrooms, so i'm using frozen ones they're a bit hard to use in this recipe but thankfully they're not iced(?) And became soft after keeping them out a bit. I don't have chives. My noodles aren't the same and I don't have ramen at home, so I used my regular noodles (they're thinner). I just finished making this! I'm making it pretty rn TwT (I'm extremely hungry tho-) I did take a bite tho, and this was amazing! Next time i'll try to not make it too thick since It didn't suit my preference, sorry. I made a lot for my family, I'll eat mine when it's cooled down! (I don't wanna burn myself) I'm not a fan of noodles and things like this but this recipe changed my mind! It's on a whole new level! My family just tried it and also loved it! I'll definitely make this again! But I'll try to not thicken it too much- other then that it was an amazing meal! I haven't finished eating yet so I'll be going now- but if you're struggling to decide to make this, then you should definitely try!

My family tried it too and… well maybe because we’re vietnamese, but the taste wasn’t there. I think the doubanjang paste is really not something we will be reusing in cooking (but it may be just personal taste). I’m disappointed, it looked really good in your video…

I made this tonight and it was amazing! Haha I did everything the same except adding the chili powder (cause I wasn’t sure if you meant gochugaru or actual chili powder) but either way it was still amazing! Thank you for the easy recipes it’s a life saver after a long day of work and having to come home to clean up and cook is very exhausting. 😅

This is exactly how "mee goreng basah" Malaysia, except we replace pork with chicken/beef. Some recipes also adding other ingredients like tomatoes, mustard leaf, fried onion, sprouts, fishball, fishcake and tofu. The ingredients are diverse, you can add based on your preferences❤️
I'm going to try it with TVP tonight! Tofu sounds great too. I made her Tantanmen recipe with Omnipork from Sprouts and it was amazing. A bit more expensive, so I won't use it for every meal, but it was nice to have 😊

I cooked it recently and it was one of the most delicious food I've ever had. Beautiful umami flavor. It tastes like instant ramen noodles thanks to all umami ingredients (mushrooms, oyster sauce etc.)
Really superb looking dish. And super healthy. Wondering whether the Soy Sauce was light or dark...it looked dark. The noodles looked freshly made, I bet that lifts the dish. I love these Asian soupy dishes, I encountered them a lot in Singapore and they make the perfect lunch, healthy, light, and hydrating.

I prefer it with seafood, but your seasonings make it interesting. I've never seen a version with Chinese spicy bean sauce!
