- Welcome to my kitchen! In this video I take you on a culinary journey where we prepare one of the most popular soups together. This soup is not only warming and nutritious, but also incredibly flavorful and versatile.
In addition to its fantastic taste, this soup also offers a ton of nutrients. Potatoes are an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, while carrots are known for their antioxidant properties. In addition, the onions and dill have anti-inflammatory properties.

olive oil
3 potatoes
1 carrot
4 pickled cucumbers

1 tbsp dill
2 tsp salt
100 g (3½ oz) sour cream (or a vegan alternative)
100 ml (⅓ cup) vegetable broth
1 tbsp flour
2-3 tbsp juice from the pickled cucumbers
Black pepper to taste

instead of adding flour, I'd put in an extra potato or two and blend them to thicken soup...never thought of adding pickles to soup <3

I made this today with a few modifications and it was incredibly tasty! I doubled the recipe, added bratwurst along with the onions, doubled up the carrots because I like them, and served the bowl with a dollop of sour cream instead of adding it to the broth itself. Thank you for the inspiration on a rainy day!
В России этот суп называется рассольник и вместо муки кладут перловую крупу а сметану добавляют уже в конце в тарелку . Это вкусно . Всех благ!
Made this tonight! I did not use the pickles because my partner doesnt like them, instead I used muhsrooms and celery. The sour cream and dill truly elevated the dish! Gracias por compartir esta receta tan deliciosa.

Cheap and cheerful soup! I have cooked it twice already. I followed your recipe but instead of flour I used potato starch and added some vegan oatly cream to whisk it up before adding it to the soup. The pickled juice gives it a nice kick and balance the flavours. Very yummy. Thank you for sharing ❤
I made this soup and it was delicious. I never thought about putting pickles in a soup but it works well. I used dill pickles because that’s what I had on hand. This will be a soup I make often.

Я рассольник без мяса делаю очень давно. Нужно попассеровать в сковороде нарезанные лук, морковь, соленые огурцы, туда же добавить пару ложек сметаны и томат ( или разведенную пасту). Получается густая запраска. Её добавить в кастрюлю, в которой уже почти сварена перловка( или рис) с картошкой. Поварить минут 10- 15. Получается очень вкусный наваристый рассольник без мяса. Естественно посолить и добавить перец горошком и лавровый лист.
