A little tip here: Instead of putting butter and garlic separately on top (and maybe sides too) of the bread, roast the garlic in the oven for around 10 minutes, mix it with softened butter and then put it on the bread. I think this might taste better than Haru's method (not sure but I'm saying my opinion)
I buy the garlic butter in a tub. If I spread it on toasted white bread, it tastes more like butter. Spread on French bread slices and pop in microwave for 30 seconds, really taste the garlic. (If I had a TH-cam cooking channel, it would be the Lazy Little Old Lady's Meals.
@@SandS72 it would get heated on the bread but when you cook it with a bit of oil or even butter on the stove. Thats how it releases more flavor. It does more than just heat it. You aren't cooking it just by adding it to the bread and toasting it with it

No need to fast forward always a bonus!! Great video! As they say food for thought!! I will definitely be thinking of this idea! I may have to lightly toast the bottom slice first as it looked a bit soft on the bottom, but otherwise definitely going to try! Husband loves a ham and cheese toastie, this might just be the luxury version!! Thank you
Korean and Japanese YT cooks tend to do everything with such a flare - from chopping to filming, from good-looking utensils to non-cheesy music. The final result can be compared to a work of art with a bit of humor thrown in.
the video might be considered as a kind of artwork because the final production is ok and HD, but the sandwich resulting from this recipe is definitely boring, basic, plastic, doughy, junky, tasteless and… well… at least it's a sandwich you could buy for 10$ in a sandwich station at the airport or the train station when you are in a hurry, craving and have no other option… but really, if you spend time and energy to cook by yourself, at least, make beautiful generous and tasty sandwiches, not fake plastic cheese with fake bread and fake mayonnaise… come on…
@@cb-elboloz I'm not saying the final product tastes great because I haven't tried it, but how many users will believe that you did instead of engaging in an envy-motivated rant.
@@deanronson6331 mmmh, it's just an industrial recipe that you can find in any airport or train station. You buy it 5-10$ then you regret because it's definitely tasteless and too dry. Come on. It's ok when you are very hungry and need to fill your belly out but, it's definitely not good food. This is just junk sandwich.
I just watched a video of yours for the first time and I absolutely loved it! Not just for the food ideas, but for the entertainment value! Awesome job! 😂
This is such a great idea to spruce up a normal grilled cheese. I mixed my mayo with some gochujang before spreading it on the top peice and the flavor sent me right back to my tour in korea. Highly recommend trying it 👌
I watched your video last night and had it today for brunch. It is definitely something I will make frequently, very tasty, the look also counts 👍. But it took close to 30 minutes at 360°C, in my convection toaster oven, which is not a toy, I even bake my bread with it. The 15 minute recommendation is not realistic, also the channel who referred to you has mentioned that it took 25 minutes to make it as crispy as yours. I stayed close by the oven to watch, so I know now for the future: 25-26 minutes will be perfect, since I don't like my eggs very runny.
Haru, I gotta ask, where do you get such cute utensils 😩 Are Korean utensils just that cutely designed or is there an online shop for them. I need these in my life 🙏
I was just wondering about the salt shaker. Suddenly it occurred to me that H Mart, a Korean supermarket, might carry them. But then I don’t know if there’s one near you.

It's exciting to see what passes for mozzarella in the world. Native to Italy, this cheese is really fresh and very creamy on the inside. There are also smoked versions. Never, certainly never, does it appear as a solid block throughout Europe

The holes in the yolk are so that the flavors penetrate it more? or is it for cooking faster? I have recently learned about how sometimes with steak or fish one may want to score the meat to make it cook more evenly, and it allows the flavors to seep in more when marinating. I'm not sure if the method reasoning is different because it is being punctured instead of scored
Reminds me of a recipe my Mum did when I was little, but in her one you… …take a thick slice of bread, you cut a hole in the centre of it, keeping the cut out bit of bread aside, then you heat up a frypan with a little butter & you put the bread inside, crack an egg into the hole, then sprinkle over grated cheese, you let it cook as it is,then when it’s done to your liking you flip it over carefully & let the cheese on the top now become the bottom & get cooked to how you want it, oh & add more butter if needed, & that little bit of bread you cutout? Just cook that alongside the big part. It’s absolutely a heart attack on a plate, but totally delicious 😋
Poking the holes in the yoke is to make sure it cooks more, but my wife always wants the yoke to be runny. So if I don't poke the holes will the yoke stay runny but the whites get cooked?
Can I please get some advice? I put it in my oven 355 degrees for 15 minutes like the video stated. My egg didnt cook at all, the egg white is still clear as if I just cracked the egg
