A few years ago, we met Kim, who had moved into a 296 square foot studio apartment in Brooklyn after a recent breakup. Acting as a new chapter, she was able to transform her space into a marvel, full of small space ideas and chic design moments. Now, she has moved into a bigger apartment, in the same building, where she's been able to transform the space with more of her design know how, but with the ultimate goal of hosting and spreading her new message of living life on her terms. From the transformations of the bathroom and kitchen space, her awesome DIYs to a completely remodeled garden space, it's safe to say Kim is living her best life (in her best dress) and it's only up from here.

I’m only 9 mins in and she hands down wins this year’s house tour. From her thrift finds, her DYIs, to the unique storage ideas, this house isn’t even my style, but I’d move in in a second. It’s so moody, cozy, homey. Everything is different style, but somehow goes together perfectly. Kim, you are so talented!

This is the first time ive watched a home tour and teared up. She is such a beautiful, authentic person. She radiates confidence and strength. I tear up as Kim gets emotional too!!! Her living space is a manifestation of how much she has grown and she 's able to accommodate more and bless others. Her renter friendly tips will bless a lot of people who are renting or owning their own house to elevate their space and also to make good use of reclaimed preowned doors or furnitures. What she did in her "lounge" area is really brilliant. That would have been a small little area for a tiny dining table and she made it into a wow place to hang out and have drinks. Also, her personal style--hair, makeup, outfit are stunning!

This is the best episode yet! She demonstrates her gift of being able to elevate any space with intention, mindfulness, creativity, and seeking maximum function, all while being budget conscious!!!! On top of that, her choice to share a part of her personal story (that so many of us can relate to and want for ourselves) has me all teary-eyed. As a woman who has lived alone since a divorce and who is creating her own space and indeed taking up her own space this beautiful woman spoke to me, especially at the end. I'm finding that the way I decorated the house right after my divorce now longer fits me three years later so I'm in the process of completely redecorating. It's so interesting how we evolve if we're open to embracing it. Thanks for the tour of this wonderful, creative, soulful space.

She was so clever how she used her space. Now, she's in this beautiful ground floor apartment, twice the size AND with a gorgeous outdoor space that she worked very hard to create. She has made her space her own, outdoor and indoor. Can you believe working on her mirrored dining room? OMG! She is a genuine person and my heart went out to her toward the end of the video when she teared up. I think most of us have been in an emotional space that she has been and now it's time to enjoy her life and rock on! BTW, the gold pants that she was wearing are stunning and a testament to her very cool style!

This has to be the best apartment video I have ever seen. Kim's apartment is just as beautiful and stylish as she is. You can clearly see that she has devoted a lot of time and effort into getting her space exactly the way she wanted it. Much research and care went into designing her oasis. On another note, I have to wonder who on earth would want to break up with this beautiful and gracious lady? Hoping that she can find her soulmate so she can share her life with that person forever as she deserves to. Blessings to you Kim. You are a very talented and sincere lady.

WOW! Spectacular space! No matter where my eye falls, I am delighted with the colors, the textures, the warm inviting way the spaces make me feel. And storage? Girl, you found such super creative ways to somehow make ALL that stuff feel restful and clean. Indoor and outdoor embrace each other seamlessly, and every single spot is USEFUL. This apartment tour was so incredibly inspiring and beautiful! Even if I couldn’t recreate exactly what she accomplished, it makes me excited to create individuality in my own space and express my creativity.
I want to watch all the videos this lovely, vibrant woman ever posts. The way she personalizes her homes, her inventiveness, attention to each and every detail is uplifting and rewarding. Whenever I see the befores in spaces that have been made over, I’m always shocked that the person had that much vision and creativity to even think to do all of the things. My brain doesn’t work that way, and I know that I’ve turned out what could have been some incredible places because I couldn’t think of the potential. I admire her and so many others who transform even the tiniest apartments into dream spaces. Absolutely incredible 👏🏼

I'm always amazed at how renters are willing to put in that amount of time and money into a place that is not theirs. I also wonder if they have to return things to how they were when their lease is up. And though I can't say that everything that she's done is to my taste as I'm more of a minimalist, she is without question super creative and talented with great taste and should could consider making this a side hustle for herself if she had the time and was interested. I particularly loved the outdoor space.
almost 70% of New Yorkers rent and when we find a good apartment(i.e. affordable, decent landlord & nabe), we're likely to stay for years on end, so the investment into a space even though we're renting often makes sense for folks.

This video could have been 2h long and I wouldn't have skipped a single minute. First of all, to remember Kim and her studio from her previous video when I've probably seen over 750 home tours at this point is, in itself, a real miracle. And seeing how she evolved through this new space was nothing short of amazing. The space is gorgeous in itself, but this queen makes it a castle. What a magnificent space, for a wonderful human being. I wish her happiness!
Yes, she needs her own show, and I know I will be returning to this one video again and again for inspiration, both for decor inspo and for spiritual/emotional inspo! I'm so happy for her that she got a private garden, too! She is so graceful and brilliant that even when she was "powering through" times times in the last video (as she put it) she STILL exuded an aura of calm, centeredness, and self-respect. What a beautiful, cosy, welcoming sanctuary. She is super open and authentic too. You really warm to her, and I could relate a bit to her journey. I'd move in, in a heart beat, if she decides to up sticks again! The only thing I'd change slightly would be the garden, as I love old fashioned flowers such as roses, honeysuckle and jasmine, and letting a bit of the wild, natural world in.
