Hey Mike, Happy Monday- What a great way to start out the week with another awesome video!! Thanks for breaking down the types of mods that each type of driver will want to consider. The information you shared compliments the Google slides presentation I made listing the mods I'm considering of adding to my future Type R. I'm going to definitely add this video to my saves list, along with some of the other videos you've made up to this point. I think I consider myself all of the above- daily enthusiast, looks, sound and little power guy (except for being the track guy) although it may be a hobby I will strongly consider in the future!! I'm considering an AWE exhaust. I'll need to find out if the sound is within the CA sound limit (below 95dB). More homework and research to look up. Again thanks Mike! Great video!!

Love the video. I was just recently tuned. Mods prl dp,fp, intercooler, hvi,titanium turbo inlet from rampage fab,ti resonated exhaust from rampage fabrication,rs450 turbo upgrade from rampage fab ,hondata. Numbers 390whp,365tq. We ran out of ⛽️, upgrading to hondata ⛽️ system by next week. As well as prl flex ⛽️ . I’m expecting 450whp with these last two upgrades for the year. Next comes the cosmetics. I love your content brotha. Can’t wait to see the ek build.
John Cortez that’s an awesome build you for there. Careful with your rods brotha. Think I’m keeping my internals stock so I might go fuel system upgrade at some point and then power wise I’m done.
My R got rear ended by a 17 year old texting. Not totalled and not too much damage, but I'm devastated. Hoping the money I get from the dimished value will go towards some track focused upgrades.

@@GridZilla yeah it's in the shop now. Probably gonna have to get a lawyer for the dimished value since most insurances don't pay you unless you mention it, in which case they low ball. But yeah, hoping for the best.
Wow, going to get a diminished value on a civic, nice I love it. Good luck. Funny I had my 2000 Si stolen and stripped, I fought with insurance, and got $1,640 more than I paid for it when it when it was brand new. This was back in '03 when mint sub 10k mile ones were going used at dealers for 20k.

Fixed the problem, it was the power shifting option that was doing that so my boy turned it off and now the car is driving perfect , made 383whp and 363tq , I'm so happy 😊🤗

Michael I just saw the Evasive Motorsports Carbon Front Lip Spoiler V2; it's a full replacement of the factory Lip and the best looking I've seen so far.
KG_ONE R that’s a nice piece. They’re whole aero kit is nice. Almost went with them but decided against it because lowering the car with a kit that also lowers the profile of the whole car is bad news for daily driving in the Bay Area

Loving the videos! Especially with us being quarantined lol. I have a question that you may be able to help. What are your thoughts on the BMSPEC splitter compared to racebred? I got the bmspec still packaged but wondering if maybe racebred we’ll be a better fit. It’s my daily with weekend mountain runs. Tracking will be later down the road
Melvin Gutierrez well BMSPEC IS BUMPER mounted. Racebred is Chassis mounted. One will drag your bumper down. The other supports the bumper. Plus BMSPEC is out of business now soooo yeah 😂

Nice video Michael! Your car is looking good. Do you think the hondata is worth it for a stage 1 tune? I have an intercooler since I track the car, but I don't plan on doing a downpipe.
John's S2K 100% Hondata is one of the biggest bang for the buck power upgrades you can do

hjl748 thank you for commenting! 🙂 reliability is great to a point. I truly believe I am at the limit power wise before things really start getting questionable. That says a lot considering I track my car and I’ve really had little issue aside from over heating on track.

hjl748 yep. Basically all bolt ons with flex fuel minus turbo upgrade and fuel system upgrade
I have been following your build for some time and I know that you have gone through multiple wheels/tires. Is there anything in particular that you are mindful of while choosing the wheel? Offset/width? I am wondering if an 18" wheel will upset the stock handling balance. Has torque-steer gotten worse with any of your wheels? Did you have to play with camber?
Deepanjan Mazumdar get wheels that have an offset as close to +45 as possible 18x9.5 265/35/18 and you’ll be fine

Everything you got plus new hondata fuel system kit twin oil cooler ,upgraded radiator , upgraded cooling tank , double twin catch can ,upgraded rods , upgraded turbo you can do it all now it’s up to you how much of a beast you want the FK 8 it can be extreme you just need to add an extra 25- 30k 🤣🤣🤣🤣 if I had money I’ll do it
