Calilaker CAGLS slightly firmer better feel on steering wheel, more dynamic camber allowing for sharper turn in and more stable mid corner speeds, generally speaking better clearance within wheel well. Most race teams will add as much carter as possible before adding static negative camber because with negative camber it’s a sacrifice one thing (straight line grip) for another (cornering grip. ) with caster the negative camber increases as you turn giving you the benefit of straight line grip AND cornering grip. If I’m not mistaken I believe it adds about 8 degrees of caster
@@calisti555 Yes! The main benefit is additional caster available when getting it aligned. More caster means more dynamic camber while driving/turning. Also with this part, it tweaks the front control arm in a way where when you get on throttle, whether in a straight line or corner, the front of the vehicle doesn't want to lift as much.
@@WhitelinePerformance Can any mechanic install these? Also, when the mechanic is doing an alignment, do they have to align it differently or will stock alignment for daily driving be fine and still give me all the performance the Whiteline alk delivers for spirited daily straight line and cornering?
Got two questions as I have a ton of Twisties on the way and back from work, I don't go to the track as it's 300$+ a day. 1. NVH? Does it add to it? 2. How long did it take to install? I haven't taken off the LCA on this car and I know some are a complete pain in the ass.
The LCA helps more with acceleration than canyon road handling. You’re typically only in 3rd gear on canyon runs so this would serve zero benefit for you
Thanks for the video! I recently purchased the Whiteline kit myself, since I noticed that in the cold winter months, my steering felt significantly looser. The colder it got, the looser it felt, and when things started to warm up, the process began reversing itself. I suspect that the OEM rubber bushings were shrinking a bit in the cold, so I'm hoping that this ALK solves that with it's stiffer, plastic bushings. Did you notice any less free play in the steering wheel at dead center? I feel like the introduction of this free play was the worst part of the cold weather steering changes.
David Schleifstein the polyurethane bushings in the ALK should deal with temp changes better than the oem rubber. Steering is liner and a little firmer throughout the wheel turning circle
@@elliotserrano7333yoo, question, did you install anything else from whiteline? Also did you figure out what was causing your issue? I feel like im dealing with the same thing.

I love Type R content, thanks for making these videos.
Frank Torres ❤️ Thank toy as always for your support!
Props for Dr. Drew! He's really an FK8 expert.
That's the best looking FK8 I've ever seen. Correct all the bits I'm not keen on like the original spoiler 👌
Your car is sick man nice work.
KAD10895 Thank you!
Your about hit ur goal time i can feel it in the air 😎
Fast Toyz 😈🏎💨 next video is track day at Thunder Hill East Cyclone 😁
as far as civics go, yours looks pretty sick!
Def coppin a set of these I love them on my Mazdaspeed 3
Great video, for my fk8 mapped so hoping this kit will help with traction off the line?
It will help for sure
@GridZilla thank you bud
Thank you for the video!
Whiteline great product! 😈🏎💨
Whiteline does this add caster and what are those benefits?

Ugh that HKS intercooler looks so mean!! 🖤
Gustavo Castillo love it!
@@GridZilla Have you seen the HKS FK380R variant? It looks super mean!! Their stage 3 setup at 600hp sounds like a wet dream lol 🖤
Gustavo Castillo no but that sounds incredible!
I wonder if it would fit on the LX hatchback
Maxpower36912 no idea. They may make a separate kit for that model. Email them
@@GridZilla thanks brother, I will
Fits all 10th gen Civics. Even the LX hatchback.
@@WhitelinePerformance That's awesome!!! Thanks very much for your quick response!!

Have you installed it? I have some on center play that is driving me nuts. Did this help?
Elliot Serrano this kit like the RV6 kit will reduces the on center play. The RV6 more so than the Whiteline
@@GridZilla thank you!
@@elliotserrano7333yoo, question, did you install anything else from whiteline? Also did you figure out what was causing your issue? I feel like im dealing with the same thing.
What about vibrations in the cabin? How much they increased?
Mladjan Antic little bit but nothing crazy. I already have a rear engine mount from Hasport so the difference for me was negligible
@@GridZilla genuinely curious how the hasport rear mount helps on track? i'm thinking of getting one for my R
How hard was the install for dr drew pretty straight forward
Yeah pretty easy
Thata a cute baby!! I watch Your video for idea mods to do to my CTR
Chanh B Thank you!
Another great video where did you get that front end on your car?
Cindy Sue Js Racing grill, Verus Canards, Racebred Components front Splitter
Who's here from the TH-cam link he left in MAP's website?
Any downside?
None unless you track pretty hard. Bushing might split but they've since then redesigned the bushing to fix the one issue
@@GridZilla Is the original one in Facelifted model the same as pre-facelift? If not, will this fit onto the Facelifted Fk8?
@@christmasisawesome9348 it should work no problem
Did you notice any positive changes for off the line acceleration? I.e. drag racing, less wheel spin/lift off from a dig? Thanks!
Absolutely
Hey my guy. This and a rear motor mount upgrade will help with all my hop and skip correct?
Clinton Popham yes! I also have the rear motor mount. Great mods
Toddler is so cute!
Thank you! 🥰
Is this the same as what the rv6 has
Vince TabaJ similar yes
@@GridZilla any reason why you chose one over the other I know the rv6 one is much more expensive
Vince TabaJ no particular reason. Whiteline was the first available
@@GridZilla thank you! Keep pumping that content IMO you have the best fk8 content. Helps me decide what mods to do for my fk8
Vince TabaJ 🙏🏽❤️ Thank you!
So I love liftoff over steer around corners with my R. Do you think installing this mod would mute that fun for me?
Komar King not at all. Give it a try!
Great videos. Do you have spoon rigid collars?
Raul Vasquez I do not but have buddies that run them. Said no enough of a noticeable difference
Nice how much is the kit i need one haha
Fast Toyz $269. Easy money for such great return!
Hell yea im getting that asap
Awesome video. Would you say this kit tightened the steering feel. My CTR has some on center play that drives me crazy. You think this would help?
Elliot Serrano yah for sure. The RV6 Compliance Mount takes out all that play
Are these available in the UK?
Spoon Racing no idea but if you reach out to Whiteline on Instagram they’re usually pretty responsive.
Michael Baxi Media thank you great content 👍
Spoon Racing thank you!
