Make sure you have it somewhere close to you on your desk (mine's to the left of my keyboard), or on a boom arm. It's a really good mic though, and definitely worth the £50 or so.

fortnite man there’s an app called VB banana and you will need VB audio and VB cable . There’s a vid on TH-cam that explains it better but makes it sound not so bad. Only thing it’s a bit complicated to set up, at least for me but maybe you’ll have luck with it.

Just tried this and took it for a spin in Audacity (I have a Razer Kraken too) and my audio was cutting out every other split second, made the audio sound very choppy and was no good

I tried to uninstall my previous version of voicemeeter, completed the uninstall but when I tried to install voicemeeter banana it tells me that I need to uninstall the previous version of the software which I already did... I deleted every other thing manually, there's not a single trace of that software on my PC yet it instists that I need to uninstall the previous version of voicemeeter... the voice meter I downloaded doesn't have the comp and noise setting and like the master section or the UI is completely different I don't see that little cassette tape either I'm not sure if I got the right one..???

So I've followed this here. Testing through VoiceMeeter Banana sounds pretty good. However when I use it in Discord, with the "CABLE output" as input device, it cuts out all the time. Already set input sensitivity to 0, but that doesn't seem to be the issue. Messing around with the noise gate doesn't change anything either. Any thoughts?
actually i just figured it out, if ur on pc then go to the sound icon in the bottom right on your taskbar and click on it, then make sure that whatever audio device it usually uses is selected and not voicemeeter input, for example, i changed mine back to realtek(r) audio
This helped out so much, my friends now can hear me well without hearing my desk wiggling thanks lel. It only works if the app is open just saying i might help out others.

basically, yes! You can use this for everything. Just change your mic in OBS to the VoiceMeter (whatever version you have) to the mic. Just find the setting like (system tray) or something and it will run in the background with everything else without you noticing it. Maybe there will be some delay, but that can be fixed in obs itself!

This issue with this is that it applies the EQ to all sounds going through voicemeeter. So it applied the EQ to the TH-cam video I was watching

uses a lot of CPU. i had a lot of problems with voicemeeter. so i bought a GoXLR mini and XLR mic now

I use an a2020 with Voice meeter and its always static and robotic. I even reinstalled windows and nothing fixed. I tried everything. :(
get a goxlr becuase your mic isnt getting enough power so thats why

Yup! meant to work in game (I use it in Discord with my friends). Just set your microphone or input to CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable).

Go to your control panel - sound - and make sure to set your usual driver as default, that fixed my issue. Hope it helped
