    Ok so I took a chance and got the free pdf emailed to me. I have NEVER liked any form of tofu that I’ve eaten and I’ve NEVER used miso before or nutritional yeast - but after her recipe for whipped tofu with the sour dough toast, pesto and heirloom tomatoes I am shocked and absolutely delighted how WONDERFUL it can be!!! Flavors are absolutely phenomenal!!! I’m so excited to try the other recipes in my email. 🥰 Thank you Nisha!

    I hadn't seen anyone do a sauce for tofu scramble before! It reminded me more of an actual egg scramble than the dry version. I definitely will be trying this.

    I add just a teaspoon of white miso in my pesto and adds a bit of an umami depth and saltiness that I find really nice, because nutritional yeast gives a cheesiness but parmesan has more distinct flavour and the combo of miso and nooch comes much closer :)

    I have only tried the elevated yogurt and berries bowl (throw in half peach, add a squeeze of lemon juice, and sprinkle some hemp seeds for extra protein). Wow, the best yogurt bowl I have ever had. I tried the tofu scramble so many time though (definitely a staple). I have made some zhoug sauce myself and plan to substitute that for the pesto and serve it on top of the scramble!! Thank you Nisha for all your creativieand delicious ideas.

    I think it’s great how you try to eat seasonal produce. I also love that you pair foods with each other based on what you have left in the fridge, so nothing is wasted!

      But be glad for her that she is not a restauranteur, done well, it is an all-consuming, intensely stressful profession that takes over your whole life, leaving little time for family or friends (or TH-cam channels).
      I say this as a front of the house veteran of some of the finest, most respected restaurants in America.
      Years ago I read a study of stress related illnesses in the workplace, and restaurants were third on the list after law enforcement and the medical profession (study did not include the active military).
      So, I'm happy for her that she does not have a restaurant - sad for us though ...

    I just made all of the 3 condiments, my son has nut allergies, so I used pumpkin seeds for the pesto, it is DELICIOUS!!!! No way will it last 5 days in the fridge, the whole family loved it!!! ❤️

    I love balsamic vinegar from California Balsamic. My current favorite is their Italian herb flavor. No oil, no salt, no sugar. Totally awesome on everything, current fave is bean and corn and tomato and water chestnuts mixed together.

    The corn salad is AMAZING! I added crumbled fried tempeh (your tempeh taco method), charred some scallions on the BBQ, and added charred curly kale.     Hi Nisha, I'm not vegan or even vegetarian, but I love the flavor combos in your recipes. I use cheese and regular milk as substitutes where needed, but the range of spices, veggies, and cooking/plating methods are inspiring. Plus you make beautiful videos!

    We have a vegan sushi place here in St Pete, Florida called House of Vegano. We agree - vegan sushi is the best sushi, vegan or not - for many reasons. I swear that if you were just trying to turn someone on taste alone, they'd never even know. My hubby & I were big sushi lovers before going plant-based but now we can truly enjoy it. What these vegan sushi people do is like magic to me. They know exactly how to achieve the flavors & textures.

    Can't wait for the book - preordered on Amazon a few months ago. I would urge everyone to cook their tofu scrambles like Nisha does - adding that liquid really makes a difference and you can adjust the consistency of the scramble to whatever you prefer. And the leftovers don't dry out - just reheat briefly and eat.

    Boy this came at the perfect time. I had a spare block of tofu in the fridge and a fresh tomato I just picked! A wonderful tofu/tomato/basil/balsamic toast! And SO. FAST.
    This is the first time I’m trying whipped tofu (🤯) and this seems incredibly versatile! It may be a go-to for a weekly veggie/cracker dip!

    Huge thanks for these new recipes and showing how to do a mini meal prep. Everything has been delicious so far. The chili oil is incredible, I can't believe it has only two ingredients. it went super well with the whipped tofu tomato toast.     Aleppo Pepper is the perfect heat balance between Ground Cayenne or Chili Flakes and Ground Paprika. I don't have to worry about going a little heavy for my less capsaicin tolerant friends. Thanks to Mediterranean and Indian recipes I found this spice a couple of year ago.

    Pro chef tip- flip the pepper 🫑 over when cutting. Cutting the pepper thru the “shiny” smooth outer side of the skin will heighten your chance of your knife slipping, and cutting yourself. By cutting through the membranous side you have much more control over the cut. Same with tomatoes.

    I live in Spain, and when you go to a bar for your morning coffee (and everybody does), you can order toasted bakery bread with olive oil, tomato with salt or garlic. Delicious! Now I'm going to try it with the tofo cream. Although I can almost guarantee that the bar owners I know will never have heard of tofu, let alone consider serving it. 😂

      I remember eating that many times when I was in Spain - the tomatoes were unreal! Maybe you can help make tofu cream a trend there 😉

    I love Aleppo pepper and call it Aleppo peppo. It’s not easy for me to find at my local grocery store, but it’s worth the trip to the specialty store when I run out.

    Nisha's tofu scramble recipe is my favorite tofu scramble recipe I've found and have made it so many times. that brown butter peach and Blueberry cobbler I've made a few times, too, and so delicious. Love your recipes!

    I just made the basil pesto and the whipped tofu & had it on sourdough bread with tomatoes & some of the pesto! So easy and so good! Thank you for your great videos and recipe & meal prep ideas! Can’t wait to get your new book-already pre-ordered it!
