    This 6 way ATC/ATO blade fuse holder box is compact, yet rugged in construction. LED illuminated, the red LED indicator light allows you to quickly diagnose which of the fuse has "popped". This fuse panel has a 1/4" stud for power feed, .250" male quick disconnect terminals, can take an input voltage of 10 - 32 V DC, can handle a maximum of 30 Amp per circuit with a maximum of 100 Amp per panel, and has a cover for additional protection.

    Thank You !!! That was an excellent Presentation. My only suggestion would be to discuss why the unit should be next to the battery and why there is only a positive going to the unit and if so does the ground come from the device you are powering up as it would indicate on the diagram , which very clear but i want to be confident with how that is achieved.
    Thank' You Again,
    Randy Chavez

    I have 2, 6 way led bladed circuit boxes one for the positive and the other for the negative, I use mine for my Harley Davidson and connected the power to my fuse box so when the bike is off everything stays off and the negative connects to the battery for ground it deletes access wiring to the battery direct terminals keeps it clean also I Velcro taped the boxes to side battery cover latter I will make a bracket for them. I connected a radio with amp. also a voltage meter for my batteries power levels and some front driving lights with on/off switch.

    I also was thinking to use a toggle switch to power the circuit box instead of the fuse box, then I can control the on and off. So the switch will connect to the battery positive to the circuit box and the other circuit box will connect to the batteries negative for ground only thing making sure the switch is turned off or the battery will drain, a sure way is to connect to my fuse box either way they both work great.

    Hello I want to install some leds to my car and I want to controll the on and off function from car's original headlight switcer. How about taking current (+12 V DC) from a headlight socket of the original fuse box (using a tap fuse holder) and drive it to the positive terminal of the auxiliary fuse box instead of using the battery for that purpose? If I connect the positive terminal of the auxiliary fuse directly to the battery I will not have this capability. Is it safe to do it with this way and will I face any problem in the future If I want to connect more devices to the auxiliary fuse box?
    Thanks in advance!

    Where did you connect the negative feed from the led light bar? Into the battery negative terminal or the ground frame of the vehicle?

    • @znovosad555
      @znovosad555 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you would have to either ground your accessory to a chassis ground ideally or depending on the relay you use, you might have a ground wire that you can ground off of that.

      Correct me if im wrong:
      this fuse box is designed for multiple 12v DC outputs, with maximum 30 amps per socket/terminal. So, the largest 12v DC to 120v AC inverter that this fuse panel could support would be less then 360 watts, at 360 watts the 30 amp fuse would probably blow.

      This truck has four 6 led nanoflares and four 4led nanoflares into one fuse slot.
      It also have two 6 led maverick off road lights wired and two 4 led rock lights wired into a single fuse slot.
      fuses installed are only 15amp fuses, and everything is on 14 guage wire.
      No issues at all.

      The fuse box doesn't have a dedicated ground/negative wire. Instead, it grounds itself out through the accessory it is protecting. The accessoreis would have its negative/ground wire connected to a ground bus bar or chassis of the automobile. Hope this helps.

  • @Javaman92
    @Javaman92 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Well, this is half-assed. He shows the positive side of the connection but totally ignores the negative. Basically your battery needs to be grounded to the chassis and each individual thing you run from this block also needs to be grounded to the same.
