Thank you mate. I've been scratching my head trying to work out Why the led's didn't work. I've wired it all up and work awesome. No instructions at all with the one I brought.
This is not a "one size fits all" solution for early auto or pickup application. The glass fuse block has both 12V constant and key switch power. The configuration of this product would require you to purchase two of them.
strange thing. I remove one of the fuses and multimeter still showing 9(ish) volts coming out. Shouldn't removing the fuse cut all power from that connection?
I wish we had something similar in the States. I have one cigarette lighter outlet on my Jackery 500 in my van but I have a fridge and Maxxair fan with those plugs that I want to be able to run simultaneously.
@@KickAssProducts yep you have fantastic new products coming out I like the headlamp Clip Clayton did the other day I’ll have to get some of those before they sell out 👍👍
G'day mate,it only needs the positive side connected & has special diode's that detect if there has been a short & then a led will light up to show the short,we still use them in our controll hubs they are so handy Thanks for watching Cheers Craig
@@KickAssProducts yes I know that, I’m just saying that in order to organize the wires of the accessories, using an earth unfused there would be helpful (for example, I have accessories with both wires together inside an sleeve)
Hey Paul! I would not guarantee it as it is not specifically waterproof sealed. As long as it is not in direct contact with water and is located somewhere safe on your boat I would say you will be right. The cover over the fuses does protect it from any water that may land on it, but it certainly is not safe to be submerged. Hope this helps.
Sorry james we no longer sell that here is our new version & comes with a switch panel as well www.kickassproducts.com.au/buy/kickass-bluetooth-control-switch-panel-8-gang/KABTSWPANEL-8
G'day mate the fuse box only uses the positive side of the circuit so its nice & easy to install as long as you have everything grounded to battery or earth Thanks for watching Cheers Craig
Hello I want to install some leds to my car and I want to controll the on and off function from car's original headlight switcer. How about taking current (+12 V DC) from a headlight socket of the original fuse box (using a tap fuse holder) and drive it to the positive terminal of the auxiliary fuse box instead of using the battery for that purpose? If I connect the positive terminal of the auxiliary fuse directly to the battery I will not have this capability. Is it safe to do it with this way and will I face any problem in the future If I want to connect more devices to the auxiliary fuse box? Thanks in advance!
i dont get it?? every item your connecting light lights then fridge etc etc all have both earth and live so how do you connect all of them?? where do all the earth go??
Thank you mate.

I agree. I can remove the fuse and the Sony AV unit still has power and works fine.
Any solutions Mr KA

Hi Mark, Have you tried looking on Amazon or Ebay?
How dose the LED light (this unit should is (+)) where does the LED get its route to ground, if the fuse is bust - must pull ground from somewhere ?
gets the negative from the device inline so the led wont always switch on when its blown.
Looks like a great little product 👍
Thanks for the comment FJ Camping & Touring! Have you watched many of our product videos?

It would be more organized if it also have earth, in that way you can use as an input an accessory output and run all the wiring together
Your earth connect does not require to be fused.

It really is kick ass
Thanks Rob :)

Nice product 👍
It really is!
Is it made for marine use?
No, while our products can be used for marine purpose's they are not marinised.
Hey guys would these be waterproof for a boat

i wish you made a waterproof (submersible) version, i need one for my boat trailer wiring.
Sorry Dave. Unfortunately marine products are outside of scope.
Where can I find this items to buy

Could have explained the earth process a little more in detail
G'day Dean, the fuse box only uses's the positive side & the earth is still used via the battery or grounded chasis
Thanks for watching

Negative line how to connect?

How does the led light up without a negative connection? 🤔 I have a fuse box from Blade Fuse and the led's don't light up at all 😢
G'day there mate,it will only light up when the fuse has blown,so its working normal when there is no led lights on
Thanks for watching

Hi Giannis, I would consult an auto electrician when trying to do specific setups in specific vehicles.
Hi iim in the uk just outside London central
Where can I buy this?
Details p&p if need be
At this stage we only have products available in Australia and the U.S. Sorry.
i dont get it?? every item your connecting light lights then fridge etc etc all have both earth and live so how do you connect all of them?? where do all the earth go??
The earth doesn’t need to be fused, you can just run all of your appliances earth wires to a bus connected to the negative terminal of your battery.
@@hunterhoodcamp3418 oh yeah sorry bad day LOL i just did that around the new lights in the engine area so should of known that HAHAHA cheers
Only saw one terminal of pump being connected
G'day Trev, you only connect the power/positive wire to the fuse box & earth still goes to battery/ground
Cheers Craig
