    This high-quality 6-position DC Fuse Block with Negative Bus is a compact and affordable way to protect your DC-powered devices in any mobile application. This compact and easy-to-wire fuse box allows you to run a single heavy gauge positive and negative wire from your battery bank and will then provide up to 6 fused circuits to your devices. Properly fusing DC circuits protects your sensitive equipment from damage, avoids damage to wires, and limits the risk of fire. All DC devices should be fused in accordance with manufacturer electrical power specifications.

    I am wanting to power with a 12V 60aH lifePo4 battery Is it possible? If so, what gauge wire?

    • @MobileMustHave
      @MobileMustHave  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! So, the Fuse Block can be powered by that battery, but the correct gauge wire will depend on what you're planning to run off of the Fuse Block and how far away you'll be running the cables. We suggest checking with an electrician if you are unsure of the correct gauge wire you'll need. If you have any other questions, reach out to us via email at info@mobilemusthave.com and we'll be happy to help!

    How long can your +/- lead be that feeds into the distribution block?

      Hello! So, there's really not a limit on the distance you can go, but as the distance increases, you'll want to go up in wire size. We using a sizing guide/wire gauge converter on Google to help determine the correct gauge of wire you would need, depending on the distance.

    Do they make a 1.25 fuse to fit that block ?

    • @MobileMustHave
      @MobileMustHave  ปีที่แล้ว

      these are standard automotive fuses. I've never seen a 1.5a but make sure you're calculating your amps correctly as 1.5 would be very low. A 3 amp fuse at 12v is very little current, only a max of 36w or so so that small of a fuse is generally fine to protect any small draw 12v appliance including most Pepwaves. Some larger units are better suited for a 5amp dc fuse. The block comes with an assortment of fuses.

    Please, get to the point of the wiring, which is the title of the video. Two minutes in, and no useful information yet.

      Hey TK, make use to use the chapter links as those breaks are there for a reason to let you quickly scroll your mouse over to the section you need information about. They are located in the timeline. We've tried making them shorter and just end up with the opposite issue which is tons of questions unanswered. If you hit the 3 dots below the video it will expand out the chapters if scrolling on the device timeline isn't supported on your mobile device. thanks for the comments and for watching!
