I've had enough of unorganized fishing rods so in today's video I put an end to that. I've tried several different options in the past and was never really satisfied. I wanted something I could customize to fit what I need and also look good and not too tacky. And after searching amazon for fishing rod storage, I finally found something I thought would be perfect!

Thanks for taking the time to research, record, edit the video and share with us. Fantastic idea. I just ordered my 40 pack.
Super sick man. Thanks for sharing. I’ve been going around in circles trying to figure out a diy rod rack
I just bought these from your link to store all of my spare charging cords and TV cords. Thanks for sharing!
Perfect, flexible design for wall mounts. Also easy to add bottom piece/shelf to keep rods off floor. Just order my 40 pack. Also have recently started using similar rod covers. good job and thanks. will check out your other vidoes.
Yes! They’re very versatile and that’s why i love them! And thanks man I’m glad you enjoyed the video and i hope it was helpful!
This is genius man! Thanks for putting in the hard work on Amazon to find these little clips. I will be grabbing my 40 pack this week.
Just saw you TikTok on this, and it’s now on my to do list for next week. Great video, had to subscribe.
That’s awesome man I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the sub i really appreciate it!
Great idea !! I need to build that for my rods !! For small road Clío I will use a lighter to warm the sides of the clip and tight them.
i've been looking , came across this vid
Awesome
This is what i'm doing as well
Thanks Bro
Found your channel from my shorts feed. I guess somebody made a big wake and yall took water over the bow. Watched the first video and I hit that subscribe button. 🤘 good stuff dude. I scored an old display stand from Academy for my Rod storage but am still looking at other options.
Awesome man thank you for the sub! Hope this video was helpful to find what you’re looking for, so far I’m still loving how it turned out!
Dude thanks for the link! Last year i bought a revolving rod rack with clips like that and they were kinda small and broke apart so i replaced them with these plastic clips that peel and stick for plant vines. I'm gonna try these and hope they're bigger than the original ones that came with my stand
I really like those clips/holders. I was gonna get the olds school pool cue ones but now you have upgraded my expectations. Great vid and scribed n liked
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 can’t be stopped
🙌🙌🙌
Thanx for the video! been thinking of a DIY rod rack and this was it! just genius!
Sweet. I’m looking into building one of my own and came across this vid 😁 I’ve tried all the Amazon ones and they all suck. The foam ones are a headache, the plusinno one seems to mark up and damage the rods cause it squeezes them too hard, the kastking one has problems where you can’t really fit as many rods as they claim on it 🤷🏻♂️ Might have to try these clips and see what I can come up with. 🤔 Thanks for sharing the idea, appreciate ya. 👊🏽
Exactly! I love the clips cause you can customize them however you want and get really creative with them and fit any style of rod you have!
@@jamiehegarty_ Yeah man. 😎🤙🏽 Haha I made my own and posted the vid a few days ago, came out pretty sweet! I gave you a shoutout and tagged you in the description, but idk if you got a notification 🤷🏻♂️😂 Thanks again for sparking the idea. 👊🏽😊
I'm going to get some of these. Thanks for the tip!
That’s awesome dude glad it was helpful!
Great vids dude really like your style of presentation cheers from Australia 👍
Thanks man I really appreciate it!and that’s sick bro, I think you’re my first Aussie comment! 🤙 🇦🇺
Great job. I'm not sure if you mentioned it, but if you're going to mount something to the wall, you should screw into the studs, not just the drywall. Or Use drywall anchors. Will it work the way you showed? Yes, but a stud will allow you to pull away from the wall without possibly yanking out the screws in the drywall which is pretty weak by its self. Thanks for the video!
I was gonna say exactly what you did. They need to be in a stud For sure.😊
great video, my garage looks like your before picture, thank you
Haha thanks man I’m glad it was helpful!
Loved the video Jamie I might have to do this then getting a second rod stand 😄. Do you think for a next video idea do a rod and real arsenal video or show your collection?
hi friend, I can send you a fishing rod holder, it is not very expensive, I want to give you a try, because your comment is wonderful, this is your prize
Thanks man I’m glad you enjoyed it! And yeah I’ll definitely try and make that video soon if it’s something people are interested in watching!
I think the ball plumb out of the park. Very nice!!!!!!!
Jamie bro I have so many rods just everywhere in my garage saltwater, sharks, catfishing, bluegill ECT I have them just everywhere
Same dude i got tired of them just leaning in the corner taking up too much space and not pretty to look at!
nice idea. I put hooks on the rafters of my ceiling of my garage so all my rods are out of the way and neatly above me.
Thanks man! Thats a smart idea too!
Great idea, thanks!
Great video! Great idea! Thanks.
Thx for the tip. Worked perfectly. Just completed my set-up in 15 minutes. Used some scrap wood, screws & the 40 pack. Now I just need to figure out a use for the leftover clips. Any suggestions?
Buy more rods.😅
I've been looking and looking for a simple way to store my grandson's fishing rods. Like you, he has several. This is exactly what I was looking for. Quick question, though. How do you turn the lights on in the dark without interfering with the rods, and/or hooks?
That’s awesome I’m glad the video was helpful! And it’s not too in the way of the light switch. I just kind of know where to feel for them now haha
Nice! I'm gonna copy your set up!
Awesome man Im glad it was helpful!
Very cool idea. Could you also use for big reels (talicas 25 and 50?)
Nice vid man
Thanks man i really appreciate it!
genius my friend!
Looks dammm good dude
Thanks man I appreciate it! 🙌
great job
Thank you!
Love these vids what sleeves are on rods to protect?
For that one that is too thin, just a strip of black foam tape inside would close the gap and catch it, so you don't have the hard edge torqueing against the rod.
Otherwise, frickin awesome solution.
Great job
I'm curious about the covers from uk and vnever seen those before
Dude great video, I just build a rod holder for my 40+ rods and used pool noodles for it. But I a going to convert to the clips thanks for the insight. Keep up the good work. BTW do you like having an ultra-lite BFS rod? I am considering a light-action rod.
How do you put those covers over your reels with a hook on them?
I like it
Thank you. I’m glad you like it!
I just sub you. Great idea 💡
Better get a door stopper on the closet hinge
AWESOME!
Can this hold from the ceiling?
Possibly. You might need something stronger to hold the handle end of the rods, maybe cut pieces of a pvc pipe to slide the handle in then these clips further up the rod. I would place the clips a little closer to the handle on a thicker part of the rod than I have them here, To give the clips more to grip onto to hold them in place better.
Great Idea....I wouldve kept them off the floor. Maybe a horizontal piece of wood with a hole cutout (2x4) nailed to a 1x4 thats mounted on the wall. Otherwise, great idea....I only have 4 rods...but even those are a nuisance. Thanks Much
Awesome
Thanks man!
Who needs light switches hahaha
Exactly like my dad's 50 across garage wall
you should have located the studs and screwed to them. bet the screws pull out eventually.
Can you share the link for the clips?
amzn.to/3KZc6aJ not sure if it will work through the comments but it’s in the description of the video as well!
Loved it bro had too subscribe my next week challange to do on my wall.
Do you have instagram? I want to pick your brain about your Jon boat.
How can he not notice those walled switches are now behind those rods..? But its better than blocking a door i guess... Just wait till the wife see this.
Ya because it’s so hard to still easily reach the switches….
How many rods
I think around 18
Should have screwed into the studs
Michael Challman
Nobody needs that many rods. 3 is all you need
Whats the action and power on your 3 rods?
@@jamiehegarty_ im from england so fishings different. I have a light set up 2g-14g for trout a medium set up 15g-50g for perch and small pike/rock fishing. A heavy set up 50g-160g for big momma pike. It wasn't a dig at you I know americans use a different rod for each technique. I'm prob just jealous lol. Good clips though.
You sound like someone's wife.
