- Part 12 of a 100% walkthrough for Banjo-Tooie (Xbox Live Arcade version). This is part 1 of Grunty Industries. The worlds are large in Banjo-Tooie so I'll be breaking up most of them into two videos. This will be a 100% walkthrough showing the location all jiggies, music notes, homeycomb pieces, jinjos, glowbos, cheato pages, etc. I'll try to include time stamps for all notable events and collectibles in this video.
This channel features instructional & highly edited video game guides, walkthroughs, speedruns and other uniquely transformative videos. My own personal gameplay, extensive editing & creative input are clearly added into each video, ensuring that all videos adhere to TH-cam's partner program guidelines. My walkthoughs take tremendous amounts of work & editing so that all videos are straight to the point & can be used as professional video game guides. All gameplay is my own & is recorded and edited solely by me. Permission to upload each game was provided by the game publisher.

Personally, I would like to know how you create such a masterpiece. So many moving parts, so much humor and heart, so many memorable characters and motives. This game transcends the medium. It is art and I am so glad that I was able to experience it. Hats off to you, Rare.
Austyn O'Dwyer you couldn’t have said it any better, the music, the characters, the sound effects, everything about this game was amazing and very fun to play!
This game is one of the reasons I hook up my Xbox one so I can play game and banjo-kazooie
Shadow Pikachu88 same.
Shadow Pikachu88 I have only Banjo-Tooie for N64. The graphics aren’t the best but everything else is!
Very much agreed! One of the best most underrated games
Although this level is notorious for its difficulty, as a kid I always loved the attention to detail in this level, always interesting things to look at, and pretty lights too 😉
imagine how much time it took for them to plan a level to this depth
Especially when it's connected to other levels.
I fully believe that Rare had actually been working on this world since the original Banjo-Kazooie but just didn't get it done in time, so they spruced it up/finished it in this game.
The amount of effort put into this world is actually astounding.
I know that Glitter Gulch Mine was supposed to be in Banjo Kazooie.
@@gamesreaper9262 I wouldn't be surprised if Banjo Tooie was supposed to still be Banjo-Kazooie. Like, one massive game. Especially considering you retain things from the first game. Most sequels- especially nowadays- won't even do that. You have to re-learn everything.
Yeah, that's why I like Banjo Tootie more, because they too what made Banjo Kazooie great and they expanded on it.
This was one of the hardest levels created by Rareware I ever had played, but the creativity was superbly top notch.
If you talk to Loggo while he’s still clogged up, Kazooie suggests calling Mario to fix him up only for Loggo to say that he doesn’t do that type of plumbing anymore
B: In the XBLA version, she calls him “Italian plumber”
@@LaidBackAnimalsawwww they can't say mario anymore?
@@20PINKluvr K: Well, now we can since Nintendo and Microsoft are in good terms now. But only if Tooie comes to switch.
@@LaidBackAnimals That's ridiculous. The name "Mario" can't be copyrighted, it's a real name. I'm sure there are plumbers in real life named Mario.
This stage looks fun but very time-consuming.
Yeah especially on how there are so many ways to do the level in and order, just like Banjo Kazooie.
This level, oh boy, THIS level is evil. Music's good though.
All true
yep
you know its a bad sign when a minute and a half into the level
the guy leaves
True and it is very complicated to get around, especially getting the batteries for the specific doors.
@@dubstepbee6892 lol, yeah, it took me a while to figure it out at first too, but you need to activate the train switch so you can get the train inside Grunty Industries properly.
God, my hate for this level was so intense! Especially when I needed some extra jiggy's to go further in the game.
Cinedragon same
Jeez, I forgot just how VAST this game is.
Facts, I even be surprised to see how deep and enormous the world of Banjo-Kazooie is that its low-key 🔥
I feel like this place felt more like a dungeon than a map.
I was obssesed with this game as a kid
lexi love I love Banjo-Kazooie games to death💕
Lol, same, I loved Banjo Kazooie and wanted to get this game when I saw it
@@dancingghostgirl2291 same here, shame that Banjo Kazooie Grunty's Revenge and Nut's and Bolt's weren't as Iconic as Kazooie and Tootie.
I love that the industrial worlds are the hardest levels in Banjo Kazooie and Tooie
Me too!
rare has a history of factory/industrial levels being the hardest
It seemed like the worlds were connected too, with Grunty Industries using Rusty Bucket Bay as a shipping channel
@@cyanified yeah Fear Factory from DKC comes to mind too
One of my favorite levels in the series!
Me before: Oh this will be easy
Me while in there: WHERE EVEN AM I RIGHT NOW
Me as a kid for 2 hours: HOW DO I EVEN GET INSIDE THE LEVEL
I don't CARE if it takes 50 minutes to watch both parts of this, I am going to sit here and watch the whole fucking video until I learn how to get the 3 god damn music notes that prevented me from completing this game 15 years ago!!
lmao I didn't finish this game 15 years ago because I couldn't figure out how to even GET INTO this level! It drove me crazy!
The question was... WHICH 3 Notes 😂😅
@@tylera3687if I never saw it on accident in a magazine, I'd have never figured it out I'm sure of it. I was like 9 lmao 😂 never would have begun to think like that.
Wait, did you just "pick up" a Jinjo with a Clockwork Kazooie egg?
Holy shit, what a genius. I bow my hat.
Lol, yeah Clockwork Kazooie can pick up collectables for you that are out of reach except underwater or in certain areas they I instantly explode when they touch water or are in an area where they won't spawn.
thats how you get alot done in the dino world (lmao 3 years later)
Banjo is a nigga for that
This area feels more like a Zelda dungeon than a level of a platformer!
Yeah it's probably because for some people it reminds them of the Ice Place Dungeon from A Link to the past or Link Between Worlds that has a lot of floors, annoying enemies and confusing paths to take.
thank you so much! I was having the hardest time trying to figure out how to reach that first rabbit on the 1st floor
Thanks for posting a walkthrough. So nostalgic. A difficult level, but one of my favorites. My N64 won't turn on anymore so this is the only way I can enjoy this game, for now
This level is the Water Temple of the Banjo-Kazooie franchise.
haha yes you are right
This level is actually hard compared to water temple, that one is just really tedious
I like the music for Grunty Industries in this game. It's pretty catchy music.
Theres a much easier way to defeat the 6 drones on the first floor to get that Jiggy. After they finish talking, find the air vent that leads to a basket of eggs, jump over the railing on top of air vent shaft. You'll see the basket of eggs at the end. You can position yourself right there on the air vent and aim for the drones and take em out easily. They wont cross over the railing to get you.
I wasn't even able to do it the way the video shows it. Impossible. Maybe I'm landing too close to them. But I literally have no time to aim or shoot before the first one is on top of me. Was super annoying until I figured this out. Cheers everyone.
You are my hero. Text guides just don't cut it for this level.
That scream when you KO the workers in the stage gets me laughing every time! I know I heard that stock sound effect somewhere else before but I just wonder what is that sound effect called? I know the Wilhelm Scream, the Goofy Holler, but what is that scream the workers do?
Cartoon Eric I bet it's a sound effect that rare made
Cartoon Eric yea! I remember hearing a few sounds from this game in movies!!! actual million/billion dollar movies used sounds from this game!!!
What scream ? Can u leave a time mark?
RStaR RaptoR Can you give examples of those movies? I really wanna know!
I know it appears in the cartoon Chowder at least once.
I may be alone in this but I never knew there was a ladder on the left side of entering Grunty Industries. I have played this game over and over and I just found out watching this lol.
OMG SAME
Kelechi Onunka man.. it must have been a shock, like you have just discovered the world.
Bro.....
You're not alone
Lol yeah it's yellow Kazooie Footprints but you can climb up and down them with the suction cup shoes for a limited time.
4:23... That alarm was the wake-up alarm on my phone for the longest time lol
Boccaccio1811 my gf was so surprised to hear it. we never knew we'd find iphones alarm in this level
Lol
4:23 Replica.
This game is Genius! i'm getting an Xbox One just for these games and Perfect Dark, i always wanted to play these with better graphics, this is my all time favourite BK world :)
Past Rare(Ware) Games are the only reason to make that purchase.
Mine too even though it's the hardest
The enemies are funny "AIEEEE!"
I agree with you, and the sound they make when they get hit is pretty funny too, hahahahahaha. Lol.
And when you defeat them, “AWWWWGHH!!”
AIEEE! AWWWWWGH!
That’s right, hahahahahahahaha.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
UOOOWGG
I love this level especially the bunny employees.
Lol, especially the animations they do when you are washing their clothes for them.
I know right they're so cute when they get there clothes clean
I've personally always believed that
Glitter Gulch Mine supplied Coal to
Grunty Industries , and subsequently still believe Grunty Industries is sat near the Quayside of Rusty Bucket Bay.
Supplying coal to the Ship and the various
Warehouses ,storage sheds and the equipment.
I like that! I always thought that Grunty Industries and Rusty Bucket Bay were connected, but I like your addition of Glitter Gulch Mine
10:35 Snooze Pack, that is an extremely helpful skill for Banjo in this game because it can recover your health when you’re low on energy playing as Banjo.
yeah
The music is jamming I love it
13:21 Now that's a lot of damage!
And to fix it off with a quick nap is impressive
Hee... ~ lol Banjo looks so cute sleeping in that bag. XD
The one thing I don't like about banjo tooie, is the enemy's respawning. Because, in the first game, when you kill the enemy's, they don't come back.
I only I had this walkthrough when I was a kid, would have helped me alot xD
I actually managed to skip this world. And didn’t know about it until 10 years after beating the game.
i remember when i was a kid, take me 200 hrs i tink to find out how to get inside XD, when i was inside for sure 1000 hr + exploring
Only playing this now as a grown up but not sure how could someone figure out all jiggies in Banjo Tooie and especially this level without using a guide. im not a good gamer but this is over the top difficult compared to the first game.
Sewers are accessed from the 4th floor...
Oookay...
Lol, yeah I don't know why, even though the basement had a ventilation and toxic waste production are down there
Grunty hired some weird architects
reminds me of rusty bucket bay one of my favorite levels
Whatever freight was being moved through Rusty Bucket Bay was probably heading to Grunty Industries
that was one of my favoirie level too in BK i didnt like grunty industries
Iol, same here.
God I feel like such a noob. I spent hours trying to figure out how to get inside the actual building. Wellll....... thank you for the video lol!
Lol yeah I didn't know about that either, it was just thinking outside the box (or outside the level's case lol).
Ya know, I never thought about it as a kid... but there's a Cheato page clogged in Loggo... a page that looks like it could've been, by mistake or on purpose, used as toilet paper...
this game got away with a surprisingly high amount of gross/adult humor and quite a bit of cartoony gore lmao.
My roommates think this game is so fuckin weird. When I first ran into Loggo they were dying of laughter
Thanks! i finally know how to win grunty industries! im suscribing for all the help
14:59 (Worker): Oh look! Can I ride too!?
As a side note, I've always felt their reactions to seeing BK and dying were overacting... But hilarious.
My favorite level.
Of any n64 game, even.
I thought rusty bucket bay was terrible until I found this one
The first time I played this I had no idea of how to enter the level so I threw a clockwork kazooie at the window and just when it entered the factory the enemy hit Banjo. The clockwork exploded and then Banjo and kazooie appeared through the window lol
Yep thats a famous glitch speedrunners use to enter this level quickly and in other parts of the game
@@cosmonawt_ Lol I had no idea, it was just luck.
It's funny how a lot of the cartoon sound effects are holdovers from the first game. They wanted to go for a less wacky experience, I guess.
Favorite level in the game
if you call up jamjars again after learning a new move in this game, he will then tell you what the move he taught you at that molehill does (without singing)
I love this grunty world
In the games of 2000, which industry themed level was the most antagonizing?
Grunty Industries (Banjo-Tooie)
Great Bay Temple (The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask)
Volt Kraken's stage (Megaman X5)
I'm currently on my first playthrough of the N64 version. And reached this level yesterday. I assume this level is this game's equivalent to Rusty Bucket Bay in the first game?
It's not quite Rusty Bucket Bay but it's worse then Frantic Factory...
That's what I've been thinking too since they are both mechanical, have polluted waters and skies, rotten plant life, staff and equipment on the facilities and the bosses are also pieces of equipment
@@BrotagonalZenithine lol, yeah although we never got to see the skies outside of Frantic Factory (Not counting the small life scale model of the factory in the Museum in Creepy Castle)
@@WZow The Level actually takes place at night, but the only window is in the room with the Toy Blocks. (Near Bananaport 5 just outside Funky's Armory).
@@BrotagonalZenithine oh yeah, I forgot about that, you can use Diddy's Spring jump pads to climb them to the top where a golden banana barrel waits.
I want to try playing this game for real now. Instead of giving up like 5 times
5:10 a shit talker in its purest form
😂
i didnt know the teleporter thingies used the tf2 medigun heal sound
Banjo:uh-oh
kazooie:Banjo!!!!!!!!!!!!
Intruder alert!!!!!!!!!! intruder Alert!!!!!!!!!!
What does this industry actually produce aside from toxic waste?
Wiard Zijlstra Underwear. In storage rooms, there r boxes that say "big-o-pants".
Anti Bear and Bird measures .
I was going to say Toys and Cardboard boxes, but that's Frantic Fractory in Donkey Kong 64, I think it's an experimental factory, besides Toxic Waste, I don't know what they produce besides 'trouble' lol
@@dancingghostgirl2291lol yeah a reference to Mr Pants one of Rare's oldest mascots
4:58 Vela, from Jet Force Gemini game
13:26 How the Heck does Banjo fit into his Own Backpack? He's twice the Size of Kazooie, something that can be said about most of his Other Moves.
Video game logic at it's finest. Maybe, considering that they can fit all those items like Glowbos, eggs, feathers, burgers, fries, honeycombs, and every other plot coupon into it as well as Banjo fitting things like dinosaurs into it with the Taxi Pack ability without slowing down, it could pretty much be considered a version of Hammer Space? Or maybe it's a pocket dimension? Or it could even be like the TARDIS from Doctor Who, being much bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside. Or maybe I'm just looking too far into it and should just consider Banjo's Bag of Holding to be another funny game mechanic xD
Hello internet, welcome to Game Theory!
CuriousUserX90 He's about Kazooie's size🙄Also, video-game logic👍
@@TheChaosDragoness
I'm using "plot coupon" from now on
That should be in new horizons
did you know we can shoot the camera's in this level
How'd you open that one door? it doesn't show you hitting a switch or anything?
I don't know but I think you go through from the train.
Yeah in Tootie you don't need to Beak Bust the switched just to press them down like you could in Kazooie, just walk on most of them and they automatically press down for you.
Since this is also a RARE franchise, it makes sense that I would play Fear Factory while watching this world, right?
The only good thing about this level is the death screams the workers do.
Gracias pase días enteros buscando la forma de entrar a esa fábrica ...
HAIIIIIIIII !!!!! *hits* BWAH HA !
lol, those Clockwork egg hacks, Why did I never think of them? XD
Lol yeah Clockwork Kazooie Eggs can grab collectables for you that you couldn't reach normally, I used that trick myself as well.
@@WZow I never thought about it that way back then. I need to replay this game on my N64 or emulate it one day. Definitely need another playthrough. This time, it'll be easier x3
@@SoarinYoshi64 lol, yeah, then again it's kind of obvious, you can get a Jinjo and the jiggies from Armored Caveman (If you left him last) trapped behind the cages in Terrydactaland.
Music is great when you put video speed to 2x
I thought this playthrough looked familiar, another small channel took this game play and edited it with text and put it on their channel.
I wish they'd put this up on the windows 10 store
where you using the xenia elmoulater
before this video i was soo bad at this evil level like grunty industry is pure madness only pros 100% this level without video guide
Yeah it is annoying and confusing at first.
While the whole game was a big puzzle, this level and Cloud Cuckooland were the ultimate puzzles in this game
@@Joe_Parmesan Yeah, because of how complicated they are and you need all or most of the abilities in the game.
I can't get the battery in my pack and I learned the move for it. How did you do it?
how do you do that backpack thing?
The Snooze pack, you slip up Banjo and Kazooie so you are playing as Banjo, stand still hold the crouch button (Z for the N64 or the Left or Right Bumpers or Shoulder Buttons for the Xbox and then press the left or right C buttons or Direction buttons on the Xbox and hold the Z or Shouldwr button and Banjo will go into his backpack to sleep and recover health until you let go of the Z or Shoulder button.
@@WZow thanks
I hate this level, I always feel oppressed inside a big machine, stuck and private of freedom.
I don't feel any fun in this level, all it's rainy, black and grey and depressing.
Yeah, well that's Grunty's Industries for you
I Didn't Know That Loggo Had Eyes.
About Jinjo number 3 (like mentioned in the description), there was a black Jinjo when I played.
Yeah the colours of the Jinjo's change when you erase your old game and start a new game (like the Grunty Hobby answers in Banjo Kazooie).
@@WZow I think the Jinjo colors are random, and not always the same for each player.
Cool music :))
Since I Play On The N64 I Had No Idea How To Get Into Grunty Industries Cause You Have To Use The Train And Hit That Green Button. I Thought The Green Button Was For Decoration
Lol, no the green button is the Train control pad that let's you go from train station to another as long as you press the train switches in the worlds and beat Old King Coal in Glitter Gultch Mine.
11:08 Do you have any idea what that Poison Cloud thing is right there?
Yeah it's a toxic cloud appears when you destroy a toxic barrel in the basement or on the 2nd floor near the Electromagnetic chamber that drains your oxygen meter quickly then your health meter, you can't kill it, but you can escape it by getting out of the square area that it's in.
Thanks soo much men!!
Could I use your gameplay in the background of my videos. I will credit you in the description.
The globos are so cute
this helped me alot thank you for this packattack04082
selecting your profile in Xbox 360
Better take out the security cameras.
I didn't know you could do that.
I reached this level yesterday. Thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind. Those enemies are fucking annoying. They just keep coming.
@@spartanq7781 me neither. It's reminiscent of GoldenEye
@@Joe_Parmesan Rare really likes breakable cameras.
Poor banjo always getting squashed
Yeah, good thing it's not fatal giving you time to recover your health you lost with the snooze pack.

Lol, yeah that sound when they see you and when you kill them is hilarious.
I know right, I can’t laughing at that either, hahahahahahahahahahahaha.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

20:59 WishyWashyBanjo
Wishy Washy Banjo
Ditchen Catastrophic you can be a washing machine in Banjo Kazooie also
@@Alonzoo23 that's what OP is referring to. Entering 'WISHYWASHYBANJO' in the sandcastle at Treasure Trove Cove allows you to play as the washing machine
@@Joe_Parmesan yes after playing the jiggy game at banjos house
Lol, yep, all though it would be better if Washing Maching Machine Banjo could Roll under the ground, hover in the air for a bit, fly around, swim, fire eggs out from behind or climb up or down objects.
Nobody I MEAN NOBODY likes this world.
It's not that bad. But at least it's better than Rusty Bucket Bay.
I didn't like it at first, but once you get a good idea of where everything is, it's a lot more enjoyable. It's a little confusing at first though.
Yeah it's ok I'm actually I'm playing through for the first time now.
Ббд
You kiddin'? I love Grunty Industries! I always thought it was pretty fun-- except for going back and forth as the washing machine. That could get tedious.
But the best part was the music. The music of Grunty Industries makes me think of smokestacks belching out deep farts.
Aiiiieeeee
