Asian soups are my very favorite 👌🏻😋 love this recipe!! Thank you for sharing. 🌿♥️🍃
Hi, thanks for introducing this soup:) i would like to clarify the referral of "gobo" (see 4:07) as huai shan. To my knowledge, gobo is actually another plant, also known as burdock or niu2 bang4(牛蒡), and is brownish in colour. The japanese name for huai shan is nagaimo. 😊
Burdock after peeled is white in color. I believe Roland did say 'gobo' is known as burdock...hope I didn't hear wrong. This soup looks delicious that I am going to try real son...
Excellente recette! Merci beaucoup Roland! Bravo! 👏👏👏 👏👏
Merci Tanias ❤️❤️❤️🥰

the food is very delicious
If I do not want to use MSG, the chicken stock cubes, what can I use instead?
Would like to know this too. Can I just use chicken thigh cut into pieces/chicken bones?
Hihi Zhenxiong and Daphninini, you can use chicken stock. Either store bought or home made. th-cam.com/video/2SbCwnn4TWA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fIGk54l1pEDTOZDn here’s a link to our homemade chicken stock
thank 有you @@spicenpans
It looks very good. It’s not too salty with the stock cubes and miso?
The taste was good to us. You can start off with one chicken stock cube and some miso then work it up from there. Happy cooking, Anthony
@@spicenpansI’ll be sure to try the recipe. Thanks for sharing it!
Which store can buy the miso?
Thank you
Hi Marilyn. You can get it from FairPrice. Happy cooking!
I am told that radish will cause the dish to taste bitter if it is cooked for too long. Is this true?
Can I do without Miso paste?
Miso paste is the secret to making this soup better than Chinese ABC soup. Try it. Happy cooking, Eddie.
Ok, already bought the white type Miso paste
Can you please list ingredients I comments and english name if vegetables please, this will be a big help 🙏
Damn, knives out!
😅😅😅
Can I use dried huai shan to replace gobo?
Yes, you can
@@spicenpansGreat, thanks 😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ shief I have a sensitivity from eggs what else
Tonjiru look nice to drink compare ABC soup some more ABC soup more cheaper to sit down and drink😂😂😂my sister like to buy MISO but she no time to cook😂😂😂
I thought we r not suppose to boil miso otherwise it lose its nutrition?
I hv the same question..pls someone answer
Maybe preparation time wise it is faster and easier since not dealing with ribs, and no need for rice due to potatoes, miso is wonderful gut health food. (hides from patriotism comments.)
Hehehe.
@@spicenpansmay I ask the pork belly cooked for 20 mins will it turn hard? I mean usually for steamboat we just cook for a while so that the meat is tender...
Too much miso since 2 chicken stock cubes already added. Strong taste
Rare to see a great soup recipe in Asian cuisine-this looks amazing!
Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
Asian cooking is popular for their soups. Plenty of nourishing hearty wholesome delicious soups in Asian cooking. Asian meals are never complete without a bowl of soup. Not rare, very common.
Never heard of Chicken and Corn soup, Wonton soup etc etc!
🤭 like the joker who said rendang should be crispy.
Not rare at all. Soup is a must for dinner for most Chinese families. You will be shocked at the varieties.
2 chicken cube is too much
