Have you stayed at any of the Wilderness Camps in the Kgalagadi? Which one do you recommend?

Does SANParks have a higher lookout tower than the one in this video?

There is only one lookout at the site. The cabins look down over a valley with the water trough. Other than that there are no other elevated lookouts at the site.

So...it seems to be quite a distance. Maybe worth at least 2 or 3 nights? For the drive

I definitely recommend spending at least 2 nights or more if possible. 👍🏾👍🏾

Really cool little spot, love the isolation of it! Rustic but that's the point I guess. Hahaha my Korean wife trying to pronounce Gharagab was fun too 🤣🤣

Me initially trying to pronounce Gharagab was also fun 😄
Beautiful remote spot, and you have your own unobstructed 24h view of the water trough 👌🏾

What a beautiful spot on "the edge of the world"

This really is a remote site!

Having stayed there a few years ago I would highly recommend. No kids allowed though but definitely worth the trip

Great quality content my man. You should be ranking more views. I don't get why it's not so.

It's booked solid a year in advance sadly.

Yes, Kgalagadi has become enormously popular but keep checking daily for cancellations, as that's what we do. Also check for a group on Facebook called KTP Bookings Available. People post there sometimes when they cancel or can't make it for a slot they have booked.

@@TravelGigolo Grootkalk is seeminlgy booked solid all eleven months. I see since I last checked the odd night has become available, but when I check the other day there was one night free in 11 months.
