  • Hello and welcome back!
As you can see, we have changed our name to Dogs of the Wind, which is also inspired by a Xhosa proverb, referring to people who wander wherever the winds take them - just right for our travel channel... but of course we are still guided by the motto Ukukhula kukubona izinto: to See is to Grow!
We apologise for the long wait for this video. We captured many hours of footage during our stay in the Kgalagadi and life got busy over the festive season and subsequent return to work.
You might notice that there is more voice over in this video and less vlog-style talking to the camera. This is because we were waiting for our voices to return after a bout of covid, and we didn't feel very talkative on this holiday. Please let us know in the comments if you like this voice over style more, or do you prefer more in-the-moment vlogging commentary, or a mix of both.
We hope you enjoy our video of our stay at Twee Rivieren and the footage of these spectacular wild animals.
No pressure at all, but if you enjoy our content consider buying us a coffee!

EDIT: our Lanner Falcon hunting sighting may actually be the more uncommon Red-Necked Falcon. The belly of the falcons are more heavily barred and the tail tips are black.

Lots of lovely bird sightings! I appreciate the way you focus on the birds, so many think it's just about lions, leopards etc. but birds are fascinating in their own right.

Thank you so much. I've just discovered your channel and I really loved this video. I've watched it twice already. Personally I like the commentary style. It doesn't work for everyone but with your great content, great script and wonderful voice it is a joy. Can't wait for the Nossob episode.
