    Where are they supposed to go? Are you building more shelters? Affordable housing? What’s the end game here?

    • @MO-xm1kj
      @MO-xm1kj หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      The end game… everybody has a choice to make how they want to live their life and ultimately it’s up to each individual to choose their path. There are so many programs to help, but most of the homeless do not want help.

      @@MO-xm1kj They tried this back in the early 2000s and gave up because the moment they clean a camp up and jail the homeless 5 more homeless people spawn out of nowhere.

      They go whatever they want they have resources they don’t want to take them a lot of them there drug addicted if they want to keep using drugs and live on the streets then they need to move to another state that they don’t have those laws but they have to go rather they want or not

      @@Wileyg4lify there is so much wrong with that statement. Factually, grammatically, ethically. I’m just going to leave this one alone.

      The other day I went by homeless encampment, and there were 10 county workers cleaning up all the trash from the homeless encampment. it cost the taxpayers a lot of money to babysit. It has become our problem and it should not be.

    The governor's would have done better if he had put forward resources that would be readily available, if those being evicted would be willing to accept. Hand-ups rather than handouts. Shouldn't matter they have records ot not, a lot of people are there because of past history!
    Ignoring the homeless and holding against cells with criminal history would not only exacerbate the situation for those involved, but also encourage homeless former convicts to return to their lives of crime. There is a homeless shelter near me with Hope House in it's name that DOES THAT to those that have a record! Talking about being part of the problem instead of the solution.

    • @MO-xm1kj
      @MO-xm1kj หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      But why is that our problem?
      Deal with all the time where I work . It shouldn’t be my problem. Everybody has a choice to make in life. I don’t care who you are. It is not up to others is up to each person to forge their path. There are so many programs already in place in California for the homeless.. most of them do not want help otherwise they would’ve already gotten it. They want to be left alone to do their drugs.

    • @michaelcartwright8570
      @michaelcartwright8570 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MO-xm1kj well, ignoring a problem does not make it go away. As for helping, that's where a "hand ups" instead of "handouts" are appropriate, where the persons involved should be putting effort in turning over a new leaf. Communities that are well funded should offer shelter and recovery resources, along with helping to find potential job leads. Some you are looking down on are probably disabled or homeless vets that were cast to the wayside! As long as they are ignored, the majority of them will always be collectively, OUR BURDEN. But like you've said, there are those that would reject help and resources because they want to continue doing their thing with drugs and stuff, which is rather sad. A variety of backgrounds would lead them to be like that.
      In summary of both our arguments, the community can do so much! 🤷The path they choose to live after being offered, is entirely up to them.🤷

    It's okay to move people if you're going to put them in a better place, a safer place, a decent place, otherwise leave them there, leave them alone. 🙏🏻🇺🇸

      a better place? do you still not realize that the $35 Trillion in debt govt, doesnt give two shits about anyone but themselves. They divide the masses with their 2 party system. And people have been falling for it forever. I know because I used to be one of them.

    One solution. There is a place in the California desert named "California City". There are already streets ready to be paved where tiny homes and medical facilities etc.could be built. Complete this and continuously move the homeless out there away from these cities. This way, the beautiful cities would be spared while the homeless could get the care they require.
