That's because most of them can't drive. This guy can, and so can Chris Harris, but Top Gear stole him so his channel is dead.
@@michaelsteffensen6844 Chris Harris is much better on his own. The format of Top gear that they just continued from the Clarkson days doesn't suit him at all. They honestly should've revamped the whole show.

I still remember in 2007 the day my cousin sent me a message on MSN asking if I had heard the news. Seeing this hearing him say i would drive this flat out, with no doubt really brought a tear in my eye. Thanks for this video, made my day to see a part of McRae alive again.

I saw this very car back in the Safari in 97 back here in Kenya. On the day that WRC announces a return of the Safari Rally to the 2020 calendar i really appreciated this clip. Simply Brilliant!!

I went to pick up a dishwasher for my daughter and the bloke had two of Colin McRae’s cars in his garage. One Subaru and the other was his ford focus. They looked beautiful. A clutch for the focus was £12k. This bloke was in communication with Colin’s dad.👍

@@fingmoron if only you could read properly: "I went to pick up a dishwasher for my daughter" . That means he bought it used for his daughter.
You can really see how fun this car is too drive, usually that doesn’t translate to video but this looked like something very special.
My dream car when I was a teenager, everything about it was fantastic, still looks awesome!

Carfection has got to be without a shadow of a doubt the best motoring channel on youtube at the moment, Ive yet to see Henry do a bad video.
Id love to see an all new motoring show with Henry, Mr JWW, Chris Harris and Jethro Bovingdon.

The title of the video gave me goose bumps, that car passed me in transition from Silverstone super special stage to the M1 (A43) on the way to the next stage (I think Birmingham not sure a while ago) doing exactly 70mph on a dual carriageway and every single driver that wasn't in a rally car did 50-60 mph on inside lane just so we could see . Special memory.

The first generation Impreza was the best. That wicked rear wing still leaves me in awe. I can tell, this was a bucket list wish for Henry, he loved it.
When Colin’s generation retired to me Rallying became dull, same as f1, just loses something

@Roger Dodger true, but the homologation rules of the 70's 80's and 90's will never come back (wish they would), it was too expensive for the manufacturers.
Instead we get highly modified racing versions of road going cars flying through the forest at crazy speeds.
Homologation specials died in 1996, until Ford brought out the newest GT

greetings from Kenya home of the Safari Rally... which is back on the WRC calendar
I've owned a lot of fast cars and bikes but the best toy I ever had for pure exhilaration was a 98 WRX with $30K of mods. Ive always rated that experience at the top, way above road bikes, dirt bikes, skiing, snow boarding, bungee jumping, sky diving, hang gliding..... That amazing chapter ended in 2005 after I hit a tree wiping the entire right side out, another 1/2 foot across and I wouldn't be writing this.

What a machine, you lucky lucky man. That is one of the big differences between older and more modern cars - I had my 02 WRX for fourteen years and the approach angle on a corner was out wide, throttle, turn in. Modern cars with electronic clutch packs allow you to take a normal line and bury it into the corners like physics doesn't matter. In fact if you tried that out wide, throttle and turn in, in something like an RS you'd be eating hedge. Another great video.
You have reviewed so many cars, but you said if you had one last tank of fuel this might be the car you would choose. I just love your way of thinking 😎
