My left hinge broke a while ago, and after receiving the piece yesterday I started on it today. I had watched your video right after ordering it and followed along tonight. Hinge is replaced and the headphones still work like they used to.
Your video was incredibly helpful. Clear information and good camerawork showing the process. I usually don't comment online, but you deserve one tonight (and a like). Thanks a million!

Thanks for the tutorial! Bose doesn’t do repairs on hinges. So we took a shot at trying to repair it and w this tutorial we were! Very clear instructions. Take a pic or write down the wire diagram. This was the hardest and tedious part.

What soldering temp are you using? I bought a soldering iron, it’s set to 450° and it takes a couple minutes of constant contact per wire just to heat the metal enough to get the wire out. No idea how I’ll get them back on. 😢

Hey, what are the screws that you removed at 4:03 to 4:40 called?. My headphones fell out of my locker and unfortunately the screws came off. I want to be able to get a pair so I can use them again. And also the tools you used to put them back with are t8 screwdrivers right??
