Steps to fix your device.
1. Remove the ear pad
2. Remove the back cover of the speaker cup
3. Desolder the main wire
4. Remove the main wire and horseshoe housings
5. Remove the broken hinge
6. Install the new hinge and washers
7. Install the horseshoe housings and main wire
8. Solder the main wire
9. Install the speaker cup back cover
10. Install the ear pad
11. Get back to jamming out 🎵

Hello, thank You very much for the video. Does the QC 35 I II and QC 45 Metal Swivel Hinge also fit the QC SE model? Are the metal swivel hinges of these three types (QC 35 I, II, QC 45) exactly the same or are there differences?

Here is a rough picture of the QC45 left side wires. We are currently working to finish our repair guide, which will have a polished version of the schematics.

can I ask why didn't you just cut the cables and reattach them?
much more difficult to reattach wires. Basically impossible for the headphones to work properly afterwards.
I accidentally ripped the ribbon cable to the microphones in the outer cup 😩. Where can I find a replacement?
