    How did it go? Do you have any suggestions for other watchers and replacing their Bose QuietComfort 35 (QC35) or Bose QuietComfort 45 (QC45) ear pads?

    As someone who has always struggled with this task, I have to thank you for the very clear instructions you provided! I was able to replace my ear pads without losing my mind, for once.

    I only had my QC 35 II for a year and already have to replace the ear pads, extremely disappointed not gonna lie

    • @accessoryhouse
      @accessoryhouse  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is quite early for the original pads to fail. Do you use them while exercising?

    • @Sometheus
      @Sometheus ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@accessoryhouse well, I kinda use them almost 24/7, so that may be the issue. I use them when I’m riding my bike, maybe the sweat makes the pads slowly weaker

    • @accessoryhouse
      @accessoryhouse  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Sometheus Yup, that will do it. Sweat is probably the biggest thing that will deteriorate the pu leather. If you use them 24/7, then one year is probably decent.

      Had the same problem after 10 months, and I only use them when I work on my computer (2 hours a day), very dissapointing, they are very expensive but the quality is not good.I also use a budget headphone, the sound is better, the NC is close, the bass is much better and I train with them (12 hours a week) and the pads are still good.

    Thank you so much! I was beyond frustrated trying to snap the earpads on, almost destroying the bit that clips under from trying so many times to force them on. Yours is the only video I've seen that mentions how you must have the scrims away from the edges. You clearly know what you're doing and explain it quite well. Thanks

    I just walked through this process myself relaxing the pads. Here's a few extra tips:
    1. It's best to put the headphones on a cushy surface - I used a kitchen towel.
    2. When putting in the screens I reversed them bc I'm a lefty so the L & R were reversed. Also, use the existing pad to trim the screens down before sealing them in with the sticky pads.
    3. BE PATIENT! When I pushed the cardboard-like frame under the 10 tabs, I used the blue tool to go around the edge slowly.
    I found going slowly and having a well lit space is very helpful. As a person with a physical disability in my hand this was doable. I had to brace one ear cuff while slowly using the tool to slightly tuck the cuff frame under each tab. Worked like a charm!
    Thanks for the multi-angle visuals and step by step walk through it was great!

      The ear pads from Bose are exactly the same. My pads are thicker and I added a different liner to the back of my QC45 pads to help with isolation.
