Exactly the feeling I got. She was bragging about hot she is (or thinks she is) and thought no further than that. It was all about showing off, that's why she started adding about him being hot and trying to pick her up.
Had the thought too. She doesnt seem to be very drunk on the body cam, which is the reason the cop let her go I would guess. Its possible that she only pretends to be drunk on her tiktoks to make the story believable.
@@_mohammed_5983 we had to learn it works from someone… in the end humanity has been in a downwards spiral, so in the end it’s not a singular generation that does it. It’s most likely a gradual shift into a toxic mindset

So I've gotten out of a DUI about a year ago and I'm not proud of it. That is something I did not brag about. I was lucky to only get a misdemeanour instead of getting arrested that day, it was also my first time getting pulled over I was extremely embarrassed when I woke up to realize what I did. I was also underage drinking I was 18 at the time. The thing is not admitting to drinking makes it easier to get out of the DUI so it's a good thing that she lied because a cop can't search your vehicle based on only suspicion you have to admit to drinking at least in the state of Oklahoma. edit: consolidated and corrected punctuation. this was originally written with text-to-speech.
The thing is not admitting to drinking makes it easier to get out of the DUI so it's a good thing that she lied because a cop can't search your vehicle based on only suspicion you have to admit to drinking at least in the state of Oklahoma
I feel like the officer should still get disciplined for letting her still drive drunk, not lose his job completely but mabye a short suspension or re training of that situation.
His only mistake here was not testing if she was really drunk. She was "crying" and he asked if she had any drinks tonight, which she answered NO, so he let her go. His only mistake was not actually proving if she had alcohol in vein
Its automatic action to test if one is drunk no matter the reason you were pulled over in my country, so it is very weird when police stops actual drunk person and lets them go.
@@mlgsty8880 well the US puts discretion in the hands of the officer who is potentially handing down the charge. So basically it’s a system that probably exists so officer’s don’t feel forced to ruin a teenager’s life.

The thing being drunk you said about the police officer: he most probably thought she wasn't driving straight because she just had a rough night, i don't think he even questioned If she was drunk or not (only my assumption tho) because he didn't even do a test
Well, he asked if she was drinking because she was swerving a little when driving. She said she was texting her ex because he dumped her, which would explain the swerving because she was allegedly texting and driving. Furthermore removing the suspicion of her being drunk
@@TimothyGod yeah but he didn't know she was drunk, that's what I'm saying, he can't arrest someone out of the blue, she said she wasn't drunk an made up an excuse so he let her go
8:56 I don't think he thought she was drunk because she did say she was on her phone. I think he may have been a little too lenient but he's obviously a very nice guy so it's to be expected.
When you're drunk, your decision making is impaired. That is why it's bad to get drunk in the first place, because you might not be thinking clearly enough to not drive. Obviously it doesn't affect everyone the same, but not getting drunk in the first place is the best way to not drive drunk.
@@infiltrate6807 nah i look down on people who drink alcohol in general, if they get drunk on top of that it's even worse. doing harmful dangerous things just because it feels good (like smoking and drinking) makes people look immature and irresponsible to me
I think having her “reputation” destroyed is more punishing to her than a jail sentence. This is why Tiktok shouldn’t exist, and why many people should not be allowed rights to the internet
Could also be why tiktok SHOULD exist if you look at it another way. I mean, without her tiktoks blowing up, she wouldn't have been exposed and probably continued being generally shitty. At least she learned a lesson this way.
Sometimes I feel that SOME women on social media, (and it’s not JUST women), feel that they can do this kind of stuff just because they are a female.-a female
Drunk drivers seriously piss me off. About 10 years ago we were driving into town to pick up my sister from school, a car came flying out of a junction without stopping and smashed into us, my mother who was driving ended up with a damaged hip and several discs in her spine crushed, so for the rest of her life she will have hip and back pain on top of her other health conditions, it turns out the girl had only passed her test a few months (she had an Audi so that explains everything) and her and her friend were coming from having a pub lunch, so she had been drinking. Police took her away in the van no idea if she got arrested or what.
I can promise she wasn’t blowing a .38 Just by looking at her I can tell she wouldn’t be conscious at a .38 Getting to that level of intoxication and being able to speak coherently is almost physically impossible. Very few people are capable of that. And those who are have serious alcohol addiction problems.
People are really backstabbing others kindness and thinking that its the absolute righteous thing to do I've seen people trying to sue their neighbor (male most likely).... For looking after their child out of kindness for free...which they call "they're a father figure so i can sue for moola"
Yeah exactly it's so easy. Just don't be a scumbag and cops will most likely leave you alone. Unless they're crooked but there's nothing you can really do to avoid that
Our economics teacher used to be the governor of our state and he said that since he was in charge of police his first change was making every officer wear a bodycam and since the change he has a plethora of stories to tell about lying people and bodycams catching them in their lies.

I don't think that was really her intention tho. I think she just wanted to sound cool for her 5 followers on tiktok and made up a story that would sound cool not thinking about the consequences. She isn't smart enough to think ahead like that 😂

Yeah
Exactly the feeling I got. She was bragging about hot she is (or thinks she is) and thought no further than that. It was all about showing off, that's why she started adding about him being hot and trying to pick her up.
Plot twist: she wasn’t drunk but she really wanted clout so she made the vid acting drunk and actually got dumped 🤯
Had the thought too. She doesnt seem to be very drunk on the body cam, which is the reason the cop let her go I would guess. Its possible that she only pretends to be drunk on her tiktoks to make the story believable.

I love it when clout chasers share the crimes for the world to see. It just makes it so much easier for the police to do their job.
The police man’s employers are a joke almost firing him.

The thing being drunk you said about the police officer: he most probably thought she wasn't driving straight because she just had a rough night, i don't think he even questioned If she was drunk or not (only my assumption tho) because he didn't even do a test
It was at the start he asked him she drank
Well, he asked if she was drinking because she was swerving a little when driving. She said she was texting her ex because he dumped her, which would explain the swerving because she was allegedly texting and driving. Furthermore removing the suspicion of her being drunk
@@TimothyGod yeah but he didn't know she was drunk, that's what I'm saying, he can't arrest someone out of the blue, she said she wasn't drunk an made up an excuse so he let her go

When you're drunk, your decision making is impaired. That is why it's bad to get drunk in the first place, because you might not be thinking clearly enough to not drive. Obviously it doesn't affect everyone the same, but not getting drunk in the first place is the best way to not drive drunk.

I'm sure she did. Duis normally aren't negotiable no matter what.

Tbf, she didn't really act that drunk and the officer couldn't really test her for alcohol without a suspicion, I could be wrong tho
The cop just bought her story of being sad and on her phone, he didn’t think she was drunk
First problem, even before her claims came out and the camera showed the interaction, a BAC of 3.8%...would have killed her and with extra alcohol to blood ratio to kill several others. A BAC of 0.40% is lethal to the individual.
As nice as he was, if he shouldn’t have let her off, especially if he suspected that she was drunk. (Isn’t there a way to check? If there is, he should’ve done that) ppl who lie and stuff shouldn’t be let off.
Drunk drivers infuriate me to no end, four years ago one almost killed my 9 (at the time) year old brother who has high functioning autism and brain damage of the frontal lobe(possibly caused by the "accident")
The car flipped over his taxi that was taking him to school and if he hadn't of ducked, he would have had a face full of glass. My mum didn't even know if he was alive until they called her back, I've never seen her so distraught
As of today, he is doing amazing and is one of the most intelligent kids I know. He has completed therapy relating to child abuse and his depression caused by the brain damage has been getting better. I've never seen him so happy.
